    6. Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings (6 pieces)
    Erin C.

Weekday dinner for 2, walk-in. Soup dumplings -- solid!! I was impressed that their soup dumplings were up to par, being in Williamsburg, but they are easily my favorite dish here. We ordered the Chinese gai-lan, the crispy duck dish and the house noodles with a few glasses of red wine. Service is friendly and fast. There is a bigger back dining room with a few TVs in which you can eat with more people. The front of house has smaller party seating options. Get the soup dumplings, if nothing else!

Veg wonton soup$7 N10. House Special Lomein $13.5 R5. Crispy Duck over Rice Platter $18 20. Sesame Pancake with Pork Belly $9

It was another celebration and I order delivery from M noodle Shop. I can't complain if the food didn't come out exactly what I like because the limit of Chinese food VS my style. They delivery on time and didn't miss anything. I order Crispy Duck with rice, Special House lo Mein with pork, Sesame Panckae with pork belly and Veg wonton soup. For the duck, I wish they do a better job compared to the price for $18. It is kind of dry and the sauce is too salty. The quality is not hit the price they charge. I actually make my own sauce but using Hoisin sauce with chopped of red Chilli. That makes the duck so much better. Fried lo Mein is good I just don't understand why they have Shanghai style lo mein and House special lo mein. What is different? Both are the same price but Shanghai style lo mein has no choice to choose what meat you want but House special lo mein has. Veg wonton soup is pretty good and I'm glad I order it because most of my order is dry so it is very good to have a soup to make the meal balance. In the hipster area like this that is not lots of competition of Chinese restaurant. I would like to say I'm glad this Chinese restaurant is here even most of the time I have to add up the sauce or spicy but better than nothing and I can't complain.

Found a piece of metal in my noodles.

I thought the food was good until I received an order with a piece of metal, probably from drilling something, in my marinated beef noodle soup. I reached out to the company via their website but haven't heard back so I figured people should know.

first time here, and we arrived right as they were opening on a rainy day. The restaurant was cozy and a perfect place for a date. The interior is spacious with seating in the front and back. We had the sesame pancake with beef, pork soup dumplings and beef lo mein. everything was tasty and flavorful and the portions were pretty big. We are definitely coming back!

Five stars for some of the best comfort food! I've sat in this restaurant a couple of times - most in the winter and it is freeeeeezing in here. Lol wear a coat! However, the food is so good. Salty and comforting as ever. Scallion pancakes are my favorite. crispy on the outside and faintly doughy inside. Chicken wings delicious! ( from the chicken wing connoisseur ) Chinese Broccoli and garlic- ehhh not so great. Taste like nothing bUt that was an easy fix with some sauce from my delicious chicken and rice. The dumplings are great to start too! We Always get the pork and shrimp. Let's keep this place alive and keep on keeping on ordering!!!!

I've walked past this shop a handful of times wondering, whats the food like? Is the service good? Is this more for take out as opposed to eating in? Well, if you had similar questions to mine your wait is over! M Noodle is definitely a solid spot for all your classing noodle dishes (hot and cold). They seem to reserve their front of house for order and delivery pick ups and seat people in their large back room. We walked in on a Tuesday night and besides our party of two there was only one other party there. We were given the menus and when it came time to order I went with the sliced pork belly noodle soup. Not only was this serving size tasty, it was generous as well! I'd totally come here to have some of the staples as well as all the other interesting dishes they might offer! P.S. - Great for big groups too!

Shrimp ho fun, pork dumplings and chicken dumpling soup - all bland and overpriced
    Elise M.

Ordered delivery for the first time. Pretty disappointed. This is more expensive than your regular Chinese restaurant and I was expecting everything to be delicious. The shrimp ho fun was flavorless, super bland (though the shrimp had a weird flavor.) Dumpling soup was also very bland (cost $7. - I've had better wonton soup for $1.75) Also ordered the pork dumplings - that was the best of the 3 dishes but not great. Paid $26 total which was a big ripoff for a bland mediocre meal. Update. Ordered for second time and it was much better. The Lo-mein was very good (but still absurdly priced at $10.) The fried shrimp dumplings were outstanding. Only bad thing was the steamed pork buns - they were really sweet and had a weird flavor. Still $30 for Chinese delivery is brutal Update: ordered ho fun and it was mushy and flavorless. Got the shrimp dumplings boiled and they were mushy and peppery but otherwise flavorless. Fail.

However, the real negative here is the operations. It is a chaotic mess for the volume they are trying to do. It's not about adding more manpower, it's about streamlining. Tables are sitting empty while people are on the waitlist (not due to reservations), orders are going to the wrong tables, to-go orders are in disarray and have to be re-verified on multiple orders, and it takes a long time to get some water. The Yelp waitlist is useless here - wait was supposed to be 5-10 minutes and it turned into almost 40. All this could have been avoided with more planning, better organization, and training. Kitchen staff doing their job well. Front of house needs work.

Expect dim sum carts going around the restaurant and abrupt and slightly annoyed service from some. Despite the fact that there are a lot of staff in the establishment, it was surprisingly hard to get their attention. Again par for the course in Chinatown. We were placed at a table with five men enjoying their meal but they left in the middle of our stay and we largely ignored each other so it was cool. As you can imagine, the atmosphere is nothing special so come for the food. The dim sum was fine for someone who's not a dim sum snob (moi): Dumplings, turnip cake, and sesame balls. They come in various sizes... but most things weren't considered "small."
