This property is awesome! The decor is chic and the ventilation system in the casino keeps the place as fresher than you'd expect in an area where people are smoking. The rooms are very tastefully done are not tacky at all. Very modern and classy. I have gone to the buffet and agree with it being the best currently however the line can be a pain at times. They have a very good players club with lots of perks if you are into that as I am. As for the location? Well where else would you propose it be built people? On the roof of the MGM perhaps? Cell phone signals suck even in the strip hotels. This hotel is worth the money and doesn't have even a tenth of the trashy tacky drunks you have roaming around the strip hotels. This place is amazing!!!!!!!! I stayed here the first week of August and had a phenomenal time! Unfortunately I was there for business so I didn't get to spend too much time at the resort but the time I did, it was great. The rooms are a nice large size and are very up to date technology wise. We had a strip view room- just about everything was automatic. It was a nice surprise to see a tv in the bathroom mirror and a glass window in the bathroom with an automatic screen closer (maybe I am amused easily). The restaurants in this hotel are off the charts! Hash hash a go go, the bakery and the buffet were all great! I would have loved to take a few extra days and just chilled there but sadly I couldnt! Oh and the pool was gorgeous! The jacuzzi is on a timer though so that was pretty annoying! Beware though, this place is about 15 minutes from the strip ( but I loved it regardless) They get 4 stars only because there was one mishap- I didn't have makeup on, yet after room service came I found a towel covered in it! This hotel which was not the best just dropped another level. Because of their location in the barren lands the taxis do not want to come. The concierge and the bell people need to find a way to keep track of who is waiting. 1-20 etc. we waited an hour and about 3 groups went ahead. They have a shuttle to the fashion mall a 20 minute ride. It leaves 3 x per day I will never stay here again. read more

Stayed here last weekend for EDC because we knew if we stayed at a hotel near the strip, we wouldn't get any rest. Don't get me wrong, we raged at EDC and we were out all night but when it's time to get some sleep to recover and rage again another day, I NEED peace and quiet and the M delivered. The room are spacious and well-kept. Our room overlooked their massive swimming pool and had a beautiful view of the mountains. My only complaint is that there pool was super shallow. I'm 5'4" and had no issues just standing up to keep my head above water. I'm also a big fan of the Vig Deli. I ordered their chicken wrap and was expecting a half ass chicken tortilla wrap with romaine lettuce and they blew me away with juicy chicken breast, grilled mushrooms and onions, with melted cheese. I ordered it on Friday and on Sunday. No joke, it was that good. Their buffet was great too. Someone here mentioned that it was good as the Wynn buffet and I have to disagree. Wynn has veal, lamb chops, and so much more to offer than this place but then again, Wynn is sper expensive. So for what it's worth, this place is a good value especially because you get free wine and beer. the only item that stood out for me was their grilled lamb chop. Try it. Lastly, the customer service here was hands down the best that I've recieved in a long time at a hotel. The staff was courteous, friendly, and always had a smile on their face. When visiting Vegas, I normally do not stay off the strip but this trip was different. I stayed here for a work conference Tues-Thursday and I was impressed with the hotel. Hotel is very modern in style, rooms are great, casino is not as smokey as other casinos are. This is a fairly new hotel and casino, only 3 years old. We ate at 3 of the restaurants in the hotel and all 3 were very good, my favorite being Marinelli's Authentic Italian. We also had dinner at Anthony's Prime Steak and Seafood and Hash House a Go Go. I would like to see how this place is on a weekend. Since we stayed here during the week, it was a little on the slow side and not much action going on. read more

Had a great time here while some work was being done on our apartment. The room was amazing, especially the soaking tub and the mountain views were terrific. Being January the sun wasn't blasting through the windows at the end of the day, could enjoy the sunsets and watch the traffic dwindle down. No night glare on the windows either and I am light sensitive when I sleep. I used Hotels.com to book the room @77 a night what a steal. With a note on my receipt on my Hotels.com notification that I would have to pay the resort fees, nothing major. When I checked in I was told since I am local I do not have to pay the fee, cool! Checked out Friday morning given a receipt that says $0.00 for resort fee. Checked my bank account to find that I had been charged the fee after all. Called M, the lady at the reception desk cannot find me in the system, after several attempts she was able to locate the original reservation and days stayed. She quickly informed me that since I had booked the room through Hotels.com I would have to pay the resort fee after all. Seems mighty shady, was prepared to pay, told no you are local, given a receipt that is zeroed out then charged behind my back. Not a good practice. Other than the underhanded issue it was a great break from home. read more

First the bad: it is inconceivable to me that at 7:00pm one cannot make a room service order that includes French fries. I am ok overpaying for a prime rib and asparagus for the convenience of having it delivered to my room. But the inability to add such a basic and common side is surprising. Room service is about convenience and such a rigid selection is highly inconvenient. The hotel is far away from anything. (Perhaps also a plus). The shower head could be better. There are stains on both chairs in the room that look like a male bodily liquid; the word for which I likely cannot use on Yelp. I am reserving judgement as I don't want to judge an entire property on one housekeepers performance. The good: the bed is comfortable, the room is excellent and the property itself is fantastic! The bathroom is spacious with dual vanities and an integrated TV in the mirror. The shower is well sized and has an adequate seating area for the ladies to comfortably shave their legs. The room is modern and tastefully decorated with plenty of storage. Lighting is plentiful and several options exist for lighting the room the appropriate shade. The pool area is spacious with nice layout of the cabanas and bar. The casino floor has plenty of options for action and great bars. The beer bar has a truly amazing selection of beer: the absolute best I have seen at any resort in Vegas. Several options for meals exists, each are not disappointing; appropriate in quality and price for the venue. I will return. read more

Hotel is beautifully decorated. Aesthetics are on point. Unfortunately i wished i could say the same about the staff. The cashiers in the casino blatantly ignored me and other guests in line to help another guest who simply bypassed all of us waiting patiently, i would understand if he was VIP or something....but he is a other guest just like me. So when i complained to the Cashier (Chris), he retorted "what do you want me to do?" Not a very good way to start my visit with rude Cashiers and bad customer service. The buffet was claimed to be the best buffet in vegas. I rather have dined at a fast food joint. At least service would be adequate there....the hostess had no clue why tables weren't being bussed....i spoke to the manager of the buffet...she had no answers either. Kinda pathetic to run a multi million if not billion dollar industry and not have any answers to my questions. I stood there with my party and tracked how long it took to bus 4 tables. It took 45 minutes for anyone to come check the tables. When speaking with thr female manager, i asked her why were there only 2 bussers on the entire floor.....personally i dont care. Get your ass on the floor and bus it. You are the manager. You are supposed to work 5 times harder than your staff. A guest dropped his plate of food and shattered the plate, and you would think that because of broken ceramics and food all over the floor, the team wouldbe quick to cleaning up the mess. But rather, the poor guest stood there, embarrassed, and he was cleaning up his own mess which isn't his job since hes on vacation. Our waitress was extremely unattentive. She seemed frazzled and aloof which really didn't add to our experience. Food was cheap. Food was unappetizing. The cooks behind the steam tables were rude...omg were they rude! I watched as one of the asian male cooks dismiss a guest, because she had a question about the snow crab legs and he didn't want to answer her question. However, on a good note, we also ate at jade fusion. I have no complaints there. Food, service, atmosphere, EVERYTHING about that restaurant was PERFECT! Sean, our server, was very attentive. Kudos to you Sean! I hope you see this! If i ever revisit this resort, it would only be for jade fusion. Personally, the staff inside the buffet, especially the manager who clearly can't handle the jobs demands, should definitely be reevaluated. The M Resort got 3 star review only because jade fusion made the experience better. We didn't stay at the resort so i cannot compliment on the rooms and service there. read more

We just checked in and considered checking right back out. The suite is beautiful and the staff have been very nice. But to have a Spa/Hotel with no access to the pool is ludicrous. They advertise the pool on their web page and it is pictured in their brochures. It is March 19th, 75+ degrees and no pool. They said it was not under repair. Just "We do not open it until April". They really need to rethink why people come to a Spa/Hotel in sunny Las Vegas in March. read more

I live in Henderson so the M is about a 15 minute drive. The Spa is the best I have been to in this area, you feel very pampered. Locals get a discount. Anthony's Steakhouse is by far the best restaurant in Las Vegas area. The meals, presentation, and service are outstanding. Bruno and Fabio two longtime waiters are fun and add to the wonderful experience. The place is pricey but the ambiance and quality are well worth it. read more

Never been to this place, but was meeting someone who suggested the "M Bar." Arrived at 8pm, Monday evening. Did not see an actual sign so I asked a cocktail server if this was the M Bar, she said it was, and I found a seat in one of the couch areas. The servers saw me, and made no attempt to come over and get an order. It's so frustrating when you go somewhere like this, you have money to spend, and no employee wants to help you spend it! I waited about five minutes, the place was not busy, and went to the bartender to get a drink. I tipped him well figuring it would be a sign that someone would keep an eye on me. It didn't work. But boy do the girls like to chit chat at the bar! My friend arrived, staff saw us, and soon I was back at the bar getting us a round. A half hour later, Maggie came by and got us more drinks, she returned later and got more for us, then she either went on break or her shift was over, because NO ONE ELSE came over to serve us. So, I went back to the bar myself. I eventually saw new service staff gabbing at the bar, but no one approached us. I will not be returning to this "resort." I'm a server at Caesars, where this lack of attention to any guest is not tolerated. I did not want to go on Yelp with this, but the M Resort web site does not have a section entitled "contact us." read more

I am a person that follows rules but I'm also somebody who understand due to high emotional intelligence what radiculous is when it's crossing over. When you as a company employ security personal you have to employ people that can make choices not just based on what's written on paper. Not allowing to bring food into the facility turns Into radiculoussness if it's a tiny peace of candy or 1 orange!!!! Not allowing to bring food I get that point and agree 100% where would we be and it's not a free park and a picnic I get that point totally. 1 Pack of candy or 1 orange is that food? Yes, it's certainly a conversation piece and we can talk now about 2 opposite political parties having different opinions. To make this story shorter ....I ate my Organe right there infront the security desk and had one bite in my hand and they try to not let me go thru...yes I was trying to proof the point. And yes another person walked thru had no idea what's going on and handed 1 tiny pack of candy over out of fear. The untrained security "professional" felt impowered when that fearful person handed over her tiny candy package ...this is a pure power trip by the security kid and has nothing to do with security issues or bringing food and not buying anything at the M spa. I will certainly have to buy food there because from 1 orange I will probably not be full and I will not be able to hit somebody on the head with that orange. This story is pure radiculous and this shouldn't have happened at a high star and well known casino. Please, I used to like your facility but higher more professional people and let small radiculous things pass by for human sake. Let's stay intelligent and mannered and know what's ok to let pass by a security point and what not. Food ist food. 1 piece of orange holding it in your hand or a pack of gum isn't food. you can't be serious! On another note. The facility is dirty! Wet towels everywhere, nobody cleaning up. Water is piss warm. Might have to call health department now too. Bathrooms smell. And do you have to be this lazy to drink your alcoholic beverage in the water and all that sugar stuff dripping in the water????get out of the water to drink and eat!!!! The next thing I'm ranting about is pure speculation I don't know this at all it's just my own opinion and a observation....the security and waiter and waitresses seem untrained and not professional. This place is great! Even though it's like out in the middle of nowhere, this hotel is really nice. They have good design inside. very elegant. We got mid-night snack at Red Cup cafe. They have good deals that's 50%. I'd ordered a sandwhich, but can't remember what it's called but it was really good. It's one of the popular sandwich and of the few selected 50% off. The onion rings were huge and hit the spot. Afterward, we went to Hostile Grape wine cellar. You purchase a card, I think it cost $5, and you add money on it. Then, you can go around their selection and chose what you want to drink. You can try a sample or get a cup of wine if you really like it. This is really nice, because you can just taste a little here and there. I think you need to put at least $20 on the card minimum. So, I think this is a good place for locals, because they can go back whenever to use the card. read more

The spa and salon are nice. The pool area is great. The decor / atmosphere is good. It's one of the best buffets in Vegas. The Chicago Dog at the deli is awesome. I was able to stay in this hotel 2 months after it opened 5 years ago and then got to come back again this past weekend. Nothing has changed it is still just as gorgeous and clean and awesome as it was back then. I especially love the fact that it has such a nice clean and fresh smell throughout the entire place regardless of any smoking area. Great slots and delicious food. The rooms were contemporary and trendy and I love the fact that each room has a huge shower and bath tub overlooking the bedroom now that's HOT. This is now our favorite place to stay at when in Vegas. We celebrated his bday last weekend in Vegas. Our local friends suggested we look into this hotel. Even after telling them that we're booked already at Southpoiny. We decided to cancel our reservation there and booked here instead. First of all, this place is away from the strip which is what we like. It's too crowded there anyway. Second, the rooms are big and modern. We love how the hallways are well lit. You need the guest key by the entrance of the room in order to turn the switch. Without it, the power will turn off after like 5 minutes. We love everything about this hotel. We can't wait to be back. He even said that next time we go back to vegas, this is the only hotel that we will be staying at. read more

I travel to Henderson for work and for that purpose, the M rocks. Front desk staff was friendly, helpful, professional, and sent up a card and cupcake to welcome me after checking in. The valet guys were quick and very courteous. In-Room dining was superb. I was not impressed at all with the buffet - I went once and will probably not ever go again. Not that the food was bad per se but it wasn't particularly great. Something of a good variety but mediocre in taste and some things seemed to be oddly placed. Baby Cakes has the best pastries, though! My room was spotless, love their toiletries and the view of the soaking tub from the room. All in all, a great stay. Not the place for you if you're looking for the whole Vegas party-thing. I'm not that person so The M is perfect for me. read more

Stayed at the M for a Vegas "staycaytion." Valet and Bellman were awesome. So good we over-tipped. Front desk check in was great. A lovely young woman checked us in and got us a room right away despite coming earlier (1 pm) than normal check in time (3-5 pm.) Made the reservation on the phone with a lovely young man. Rooms are quite nice and clean. Very modern (although not as modern as Aria (my benchmark for technology in rooms.) TV in the bathroom is a bonus I find for working folks. Automated shades and blackout curtains really are blackout. No sunlight creeping in. Sheets were super clean. No electrical outlet next to bed/nightstand. Fail. Got room service and that was really well done. Ordered the roast chicken, creamed spinach and tater-tots (gourmet style.) Three cup pot of tea was super hot. Accouterment was plentiful. My only issue and not a complaint is why most hotels have not moved to the germ free/germ reducing Clean TV remotes. I know it costs money, but the old skool remotes are really just foul. I went here for the Studio B Buffet. I agree with everyone else on the looks of this place. It's beautiful. Anyways...the wait times for the buffet weren't long but it was worth it. Pretty much all the food was good. The waitresses were nice and friendly as well as the chefs that served us at the various sections of the buffet. (They seem to hire a whole lot of chefs) The sign of the Vice Shop (gift shop) reminds me of the signs found in the game, BioShock (or at least the style and font does). The guy at the counter was chill and pretty cool. There's also a pharmacy located in the Vice Shop. Pretty awesome place overall but I think there's still some things that could be possibly improved. read more

When I made my reservation I asked for a room near the elevator because I recently went from a wheel chair to useing a cane and this was the first time I was going to be out and about in the past 3 months. When we checked in we were told the room was not far from the elevator which it was (very far). I went back to the front desk and told them that it was very far but my husband wanted to keep the view. I was told all they had only one room one floor down closer to the elevator with the same view. Turns out it was the worst view Ever! Needless to say we went back to the original room. One day we noticed the sheets had yellow stains and asked to have them changed only to get sheets with who knows what so we had to arrange the sheets not to sleep on what ever it was. read more

I accompanied four people to the Studio B Buffet for dinner on a Monday night. The line was amazingly long- we waited about an hour to get in. When we finally got inside we were seated near huge glass windows that showed us the night view of the Strip- very pretty! There is a large international selection of foods at the buffet, and most of the fare tasted fine. Nothing was spectacular, and nothing was horrible. The deserts looked and tasted like the standard array you get at the casinos buffets. The meal came to about $100 for the five of us. The casino itself is nicely-designed, although casinos tend to all look alike. The one thing that made this casino a little different was the self-service beverage station. Instead of waiting for a scantily clad woman to bring you your drink, those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages can service themselves. Unfortunately, patrons can be slobs, so the station was sloppy. Too bad people have to ruin a good thing. My opinion of M is that it is nice-looking and offers a nice off-Strip place for locals to visit. I wouldn't want to stay there if I were visiting Vegas because I'd rather be on the Strip where all the action is, but if you want to be away from the Strip and still have the casino experience, this would do. As for the buffet, though I liked it, it is not worth more than 15 minutes in line. read more

This place is probably the nicest hotel I have ever been to. For 150-160 for friday and saturday a night what you get is unbelievable. They charge you you a 25 dollar service fee per night but it pays for internet, spa, pool, parking, etc. They have a bar that has 99 beers on tap, a place called the Hostile Grape where you a buy 1,2,4 oz tastings of wine from a refrigerated wall dispenser. The wine selection is endless. also their reward points system is pretty good also. I tried some of their restaurants and the food is outstanding. We are definitely going back this time for more than to day. no need to even visit the strip. Oh yea and the pool is gorgeous also. read more
