Stopped here on the way out of town and wanted to play some black jack. Took awhile for the double deck to start because there was one table running blackjack. Guy said the table has been destroying everyone but there was only one table running blackjack. I came in on fresh hand shuffle because there automatic shuffler was broken and dealer gets 4 21s in a row and I decided there was something up. Never happened to me in my entire life of gambling around the world. Definitely won't be coming back. read more

We booked the Classic suite for our mini moon. Disappointed but not surprised. It seems like the quality of everything had gone to trash during the pandemic. But still, cleanliness should be the top of any hotels priorities. Our side tables had this sticky, white, nasty stuff on it. I don't even want to know. I expected more from the M. I thought the room would be more modern and adequate. But nope. We checked in Friday night and was told at check in that Buffet was closed, roof top bar was closed and the spa is closed. Hmm great. We're located at the 15th floor. Our room had a beautiful view of the strip & that was about the only good thing about our stay. We had a super late check in time 1am; we were so exhausted from our long day. Tried to open/close the shades and drapes and it wasn't working properly. We had to call maintenance to come and fix it. The bed only had 3 pillows. Def not as pictured on their website. TVs are small. We got pizza from Vigs deli and by the time we got back to our rooms it already had gone cold. I wish there was a microwave in the room. Also, the "suite" did not provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, not much toiletries to offer. I can hear the people from the room above us and the people next to us. Hmm At this point, it's pointless to even complain, there was just so much going on. The suite lacked so much. It's fine. I am mostly upset about how dirty it is in our room, Oils, unknown hand prints on glasses , hair in the shower. Yuck. Fav part was leaving and going home to our nice comfy bed. I really wanted to fall in love with the M. The property itself is nice and the staff from the checkin to valet were really genuinely helpful however the issues were actually with the room. The 1st room - 6138 was filthy from the bathroom counter to the shower. Turns out when we went downstairs to request a room change anther couple was down at the front desk complaining about the cleanliness of their room. The 2nd room - 8114 was "cleaner" but we could totally tell that housekeeping didn't bother wiping down the bathroom counters again even after we left and returned. They made the bed but no wet cloth wipe down of any sort was made. Guess you have to pay extra for housekeeping? The picture I posted is the shelf where the crooked TV is. We tried to align the TV but gave up because it felt like it was going to fall off. BOTH the electric mirror and magnifying mirror didn't work in our bathroom either. Our bar experience last night was the kicker. Homegirl and her coworker saw us walk in and sit. They never came over to take our order so we moved to another table to get their attention...nope these two heffers just kept bumping their gums until my fiancé finally walked to the bar to order our drinks. For the record the bar was NOT packed at all. One of the servers finally comes over and asked what I wanted and when I explained to her that we had been waiting and eventually moved to get your attention to no avail so my fiancé went to the bar...know what this witch says next..."that's fine with me" and then she proceeded to turn around and walk away...yeah that was pretty EFFED up when your ass is in the service industry. M Resort, my fiancé is a Nevada resident and I am a California resident. We BOTH had an expectation for your property. I get that staffing shortages are prevalent but clean rooms is NOT negotiable on any level. read more

I'm not about to say that M is better than some of the hotels that I've not given 5 stars to. But the overall package provided by the M is tough to beat! Also doesn't hurt that I got some comped rooms, probably because I had a very bad day at the blackjack table earlier this year. :( So yes, although the M is my preferred hotel to gamble, this particular trip was the first time I actually stayed here. My comped room as a two queen room with a Strip view. Really spacious room, amazing view of the Strip, and an even bigger bathroom! Super comfortable for sure. If these rooms were on the Strip, they could easily have charged a premium price. Staff here were really friendly. Super accommodating every time I've been here, either for this particular stay or when I was trying to figure out my rewards for all my gambling. Location is obviously a bit isolated, seeing as how it's a 15 minute drive from the Strip. Which actually suits me these days. As I've shifted away from my partying in Vegas days to eating and gambling in Vegas instead, I'm totally fine being able to drive to the action without being in the action itself. Just make sure you have a car if you decide to stay here. As I've mentioned already, the M is my favorite hotel to gamble in Las Vegas. It's very quiet by Vegas standards, doesn't smell like smoke, and is fairly empty for the most part. Makes it very comfortable to gamble here for hours on end, which I've definitely done on more than one occasion. If you get a chance, definitely come try their buffet, Studio B Buffet. Check my separate review for it, but know that I've never had better prime rib at any other buffet. Super delicious! Like I said, M isn't better than some of the hotels I've stayed at on the Strip and given four-star reviews for. This is a long review as it includes restaurant reviews. We came in on a Wednesday. The location was close to our son who we were in town visiting. We loved that we didn't have to pay for parking and we were far from the busy strip. We parked near the entrance and were easily able to access the elevators from the parking lot entrance. It was very convenient for hauling our luggage. The casino is clean but the smell of cigarettes was pretty strong. I thought modern technology could filter that out a little better. Our room was a deluxe queen with a strip view. We knew we were far from the strip but we were able to see the lights and enjoy the sunsets over the mountains in the evenings. Our room was clean and came with a mini fridge which was great for our bottled water and snacks. The bedding was O.K. But I did not like the blanket which was between the sheets. It was old and worn. The bed was a bit too firm for me and I suffered from a stiff neck. The bathroom was nice. There is a window in the bathroom so you can see the view. There is a privacy shade if you aren't interested in the view. I loved the shower and the soaker tub. It fills very fast and I enjoyed the view from the tub. The vanity has an area to sit and put on your make up. The lighting is very good for that purpose. There is also a TV imbedded in the bathroom mirror but it is pretty small and the picture quality isn't very good. The one complaint I have about the room is the toilet. There isn't an actual door for privacy. It's more of a shower door. It makes no sense to have a door like this. What a poor design decision. There are plenty of places to eat. We tried ANTHONY'S steak house the first night. It reminded me of dining on a cruise ship. The white table linens were nice but other than that there wasn't much to the design, it's a little sterile. The steaks were pricey. Our son enjoyed his ribeye but his Caesar salad was over dressed and inedible. My husband and I each had soup and salad. My husband enjoyed his wedge and clam chowder. I had the lobster bisque and the crustaceans Louie. My salad was very pricey for the small amount of crustaceans on top it was nothing special, neither was the lobster bisque which was bland. We went to BABY CAKES for gelato after dinner. The cashier was the rudest young lady I have ever encountered. She repeatedly rushed me to pay at the register before I had finished giving my order to the young man scooping the gelato. The gelato itself was pretty terrible. It didn't taste like any gelato I've ever had before. The next morning we were going to give ANTHONY'S another try for breakfast but for some reason, maybe the day of the week, it wasn't open so we went to MARINELLI 'S. I had the lox and bagel plate. It was really good. My husband had traditional eggs, potatoes, and bacon. He ordered his eggs over easy but they were served sunny side up and the whites were watery. His potatoes tasted deep fried but his bacon was perfect. We could have sent it back but we are always leery of doing that. We ate dinner at JAYDE @16 that night. We had a beautiful window seat overlooking the strip. I had the lychee Mai Tai. It was so unique and delicious! I started with the Unagi and my husband had the crispy broccoli. We both had the Pho. It was an enormous bowl! It was good but I don't know how anyone could finish it. It was a nice meal in a nice setting. The next morning we grabbed a couple pastries and coffee from BABY CAKES. They also have premade yogurt bowls and salads. Very convenient for grab and go. We did play the slots. Neither of us had any luck. They do post the names of winners and the amount of their winnings. Not very good pay offs. The casino was pretty vacant. We were due to check out Saturday morning but my neck couldn't take another night on that bed so we checked out Friday evening. Only a 4 1/2 hour drive home so it was worth coming home early to sleep in my own bed. I would definitely stay here again. I liked that it was quiet and away from the strip. I loved how convenient the parking was. There were several restaurants to choose from with different options for your budget. read more

This resort is about 10 miles before Las Vegas and owned by the Tropicana. We were given a free stay here and promised more than they could deliver. I'll get to that shortly. It has more of a less crowded vibe, spacious, and you get service hyper quick from the cocktail waitresses if you're playing slots, keno or video poker. I had 3 Long Islands in less than an hour and had to wave her off after this. Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint. It sits just right off the I-15 outside of Vegas, but still well worth the stop for at least a couple reasons. The Studio B buffet. It's unbelievable! Best you'll find for value and quality. That's another review coming... The 32 degree draft bar. Also, best you'll find for beer drinking in the Las Vegas and surrounding areas.(See review) We stayed in a very nice room, definitely newer with that new smell. Nice views and comfy beds. We took our daughter and boyfriend, so had to keep an eye and the room keys in our possession at all times. Prevent defense. Now, you might ask me why the 3 stars? Because, like any other casino, they are swindlers. We booked a couple of free nights and were told by the main casino host (Xiang?) that we could enjoy anything we wanted(within reason) and bill it to the room. Say what????? I kept telling the lady, too good to be true. And, guess what? Yes, we did get rooked. Let's just say it's a good thing we didn't go to the steakhouse. We ended up with a bill of around $300 which was not out of range we thought to get comped. After all,she played for several hours and earned numerous future stays,(even now to this day)but no credit on the room bill. I don't trust these bastards any more than a street hustler, and should have known better. It's a casino, they're out to take your $$, and it's much closer to Vegas than you think. We were traveling from CA to Idaho and planned on staying near Vegas for our first overnight. We couldn't make it to the strip and didn't want the dumpy hotels near Primm so we saw this hotel along the way and are so happy we discovered this little hidden gem! Such great weekday prices and this place is LUXURIOUS. the rooms are so pristine, comfy beds, beautiful decor and aesthetic! High end rooms that feel like you paid $500-1k! Free valet and baggage help and all the guys are super nice (just tip!) the housekeepers are really sweet, one even was giving us tips and telling us we were at the best hotel. You could tell she really liked her job, they have a beautiful pool, poolside bar, several restaurants, free room service, awesome coffee shop. You do not need to leave this place! We loved it so much that we absolutely stopped on our way back to CA from Idaho and I absolutely plan on returning in the future for just a little staycation! Love this place! I wish I could give less then one start. worst casino customers service I have ever encountered. They gave me 4 nights hotel for free, but when I got there, they charged me $290 so called "resort" fee. The receptionist told me, I will get it back when I check out. I lost close to $3000 while stay there. When I checked out, a different receptionist told me, I won't be getting the resort money back. Due to the current staffing shortage and wait times in line that we often experience at the dial M Choice and Cashier window, recommending that you invest in a couple of these machines that other casinos offer as it removed the wait time greatly so we can play more. As of June 17 2021, The M resort is not charging LOCALS any resort fees!The pool is nice and there are day beds and lounge chairs to relax on ... Our problem was being ignored by the Casino Cashiers when trying to redeem our chips. They need to address this. It really pisses visitors off. Either make the express chip redemption lane work or eliminate it. Animosity from guests is off the charts. Non-existent cocktail service at the tables. Hold that thought. You can rely on it. Parking is very well marked and easy casino access from any parking area. Really well thought out and free. The friendly employees bring us back. Winning at gaming is just a bonus. read more

I spent my Friday night just walking around site seeing in the hotel. I finally visited the new PATIO at M Resort by the pool on Saturday 4/20/25. I didn't think there would be available seating since it was WWE weekend and its 1st come 1st serve. Surprisingly there was plenty of seating. I sat at the bar and already knew what I wanted to order, since I reviewed the menu ahead. The gentleman took my order: Dragon Fruit Margarita, Carnitas Street Tacos and Chicken Flauta. Received my drink, which taste okay...but not what I expected. I waited for a good while and the waiter came to me with Nachos and another item. I said, nope not me. He then took the order to a couple that arrived after me. I then asked how did they get their order before me? The bartender said there was a mix up in the kitchen and they're making my order now. Meanwhile I see several chips and salsa bowls and I asked if there were for the customers, and the young lady said yes and brought one to me. This is something most Mexican restaurants give you after you're seated, guessing they do the same....however, I had to ask for it. Waiter finally brings my order...flauta yes, STEAK tacos NOPE. I said, I ordered CARNITAS. The bartender appeared to be in disbelief...he said it clearly said PORK. Waiter returned the food and said they'll bring the correct item. For this to be my first experience, I was not IMPRESSED at all. Mexican is my favorite food, so I was really excited. A gentleman was standing near me and I asked if he was the manager. He said he's the supervisor. I said, you did see those were steak and not carnitas? He stated he did and was going to COMP my entire meal. It was the right thing to do, but a good experience and good food are always the goal. I understand no one is perfect. But they really pumped this place up. It seems they are still working out some kinks. Unsure if I'll return. M is going downhill fast. Wish they didn't have so many slot machines with sticky buttons, it's difficult to play video poker and pressing a button multiple times or having to touch the screen, I lose my rhythm. My host is not the friendliest and I wish I could get a new person without offending anyone. I have never met her in person but I will message her if I need a room and it takes her days to get back to me. A couple times I will follow up and she will say I am on vacation and will get to you when I'm back at work. Umm sorry to bug lady but I'm trying to plan my trip too. Once or twice is ok but that is her response all the time which I find odd. I have a Caesar's host and he will respond promptly and a nicer fashion. The food on this property is a thumbs down. Nothing tastes good, it's just there. Vig deli, Anthony's, Italian place, and raiders cafe miss the mark on taste. Vig deli takes forever to produce basic items as well. I frequent this place when I'm in town to avoid the crowds and I see they are building a new tower, you should focus on making the current property better versus building out and being even more mediocre. read more

Stingy machines. Super tight machines. Beyond tight machines. No 0.25 BJ machines anymore. Doesn't matter what you play, nothing pays out. Resort fees up the wazoo. Just fees on fees on fees. Ridiculous. A small, tiny piece of cake is $8.00. Red bull is $6. Small fruit salad is 8. Just insane prices throughout. No value. Zero value whatsoever. Rude staff left and right. Rude table games dealers that take away your entertainment and enjoyment of the games. Just like the rest of Vegas, not worth going or visiting. Casino was dead as well. They desperately need to bring back the buffet or do something with this place. It definitely seemed like its best days were behind it. Stay elsewhere. Play elsewhere. Maybe eventually they'll wisen up and change for the better. Right now, it's just another Las Vegas property that sucks and is not worth going to. Had a great time watching Super Bowl LVII at Tavern and a grill. The food on the buffet was amazing and so was our server who made sure the table was cleared and drinks were filled. Vacay for me and my hubby in Vegas! Decided to stay off the strip our first night and booked ourselves a room for the night here at the M Resort. We arrived to the hotel about 10:12pm so we were able to check in right away. The have a valet service so that make it even better. The front desk clerk was ver friendly and helpful. We checked ourselves into our room which was on the 2nd floor - not much of a view but a very spacious room. We had made prior reservations via Open Table for a 10pm at The Raiders Tavern and Grill. (See additional review). So great to have a restaurant conveniently open at such a late hour. So this is a huge plus! The biggest challenge was the plumbing in the room. The shower was backed up and was draining. My husband contacted the front desk where they sent a service man to try to fix. By the time we got to bed it was nearly 3am! After long travels on the plane and not much sleep! We tried to extend our room out as our morning was backed up but it would cost us additional. They were able to accommodate us with a noon check out. Overall, this would not change my view of this amazing hotel amd if course the official Raiders hotel. We would come back again. read more

My husband and I used to love staying at The M Resort for the past years but this past weekend after not coming for a while we finally decided to come stay at the M Resort and it has just gone downhill! We don't mind paying for something that's worth it and the M was NOT worth it nomore! The rooms have not been updated the furniture is already wearing off and old! It really needs an update. My partner and I decide to go spend a day exploring casinos outside the strip and came to the M casino. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful very slick and elegant design. We walked around and several of the restaurants have not reopened yet. The abrs are all open and so are the casino floor , we had a few drinks at the bar and spent some time hanging out. The pool is open , its beautiful and specious , it was pretty busy. This pool is open to locals , we saw quite a few coming in , they charge $20 and it looks like they have a few music events. Overall very nice place I'm sure its even better without any covid restrictions. read more

Stayed here for business and was quite pleased. Staff was very friendly and effective. I had a tv remote not working and was replaced in less than 10 minutes and a small leak behind the toilet was repaired while i went to the gym. Room service was good and everything was nice an clean. Rooms were very comfortable and bathroom area was quite luxurious. Lots of good food choices too. Raiders Bar and Grill was excellent. Im not a gambler so cant speak to that but it looked like they had lots of choices. Fitness room was excellent with new equipment and plenty of space. They do make you wear a mask at the gym even when exercising. Sanitation and safety protocols were very good here. Did not use the pool but it looked nice from the gym. Great place if you aren't interested in stying on the strip. Ill stay here again. read more

I have seen and driven by this for quite a while and kept thinking I should go in there sometime. Well sometime became the week before Christmas ( yes I know I'm a bit behind in writing). We went there for some Christmas thing (can't remember what) but we had been to a new casino at the far and of the strip a few days earlier and I am pretty impressed with the M compared to other casinos I've seen lately. It has a nice layout and even though it was pretty busy it didn't feel overcrowded, I usually leave when it gets crushing. This was actually quite easy to feel comfortable in. I guess because it's off the strip it's more of a "locals" casino. It's well worth a visit. read more

We love the M Resort, and are there all the time. There are three people that make our trips to the M memorable, and are a main reason for our repeated visits. First person is my host, KC Chua. She is by far the best host I have ever had, and that includes other casinos like Caesars, and most of the Strip hotels. She does her best to fulfill our requests, and is pleasant and fun to converse with. Next is the best cocktail server ever.....Carolina. She always makes us feel special, and when she sees us, she brings us our favorite beverages without our asking for them. That's amazing, and she's amazing. Next, our favorite restaurant is Anthony's Steakhouse, where we were tonight. Our favorite part of our visit is when we have Florin as our waiter. He's phenomenally attentive, and very interesting to talk with. He makes us feel like VIP's if only for the hour or so that we are there. In addition, the food at Anthony's is amazing. I had a shrimp appetizer today consisting of 4 shrimp the size of whales, over a potato purée, with spices in a cream sauce made with paprika. Damn that was special and hard to describe. The other dishes were really tasty as well. As for the casino part, they have a nice selection of machines that we like to play, and a bakery, Babycakes, that is really nifty as well. I highly recommend a visit to the M. You will definitely love it. read more

This review is for their M Pavilion entertainment venue: The floor is not tiered, so unless you pay for the front of the house, you'll be staring at screens or the back of the head of the person in front of you all night. The drink concessions lines are 20 minutes long. They only have 3 metal scanners to get in backing up one line, then there are only two ticket takers, backing up the line again. The pavilion is a confusing, far walk from the casino past the pool with little signage. We had to follow the crowd to find it. Will not be returning to the M. read more
