We enjoyed everything about this dinner. The restaurant is laid out nicely and the staff is very professional. The tomato bisque & crostini starter was delicious. The signature cocktails were interesting and amazing tasting. We started with the baked camembert which had an extraordinary blend of marmalade and lavender with apple slices- so good! We split the Sea Bass. Cooked perfectly, flaky and citrusy and presented beautifully. They brought a beautiful birthday dessert to my sister which was a very nice Key Lime pie. If weather permits, you must sit outside as the ambiance on the water is 10/10. We came for brunch on a perfectly overcast Sunday with just the right amount of breeze. I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich and my friend ordered the crab and shrimp spring rolls. Both of the meals were mouthwateringly delicious. The crab and shrimp spring rolls are some of the most flavorful appetizers I've ever eaten. With or without the sauces on the side, they were packed with flavor. I could not come here again and not order those. The croissant breakfast sandwich was a steal for the price. It was filling and savory without being too heavy. It also came with the yummiest breakfast potatoes ever! For drinks, we ordered the bottomless bubbles and an espresso martini. This is the best espresso martini I've had in Naples so far. I would also highly recommend the bottomless bubbles, especially because you can switch between mimosas, bellinis and champagne. I was so relaxed and satisfied after my brunch here! They had one, which if it would've been good, that wldve been enough. Quinoa bowl w/grilled veggies. Sounds good right?! It wasn't! There was absolutely NO seasonings whatsoever. Excellent Easter Brunch The lobster quiche on the Easter Menu was spectacular, smooth, savory chunks of lobster and shrimp with a tart hollandaise sauce and the fried potatoes were excellent, they had a nice uniform sear and crunch with a smooth loamy inside, just wow. The dish also came with fruit. The appetizer was shrimp spring rolls and a tangy sauce, just perfect. The bread service was very good, both salted butter and olive tapenade. We had a Roderer champagne which paired nicely with the food. We had asked for a window table by the water and it was great. This restaurant is ok. The chef sent bread with a delicious tomato sauce to our table. For appetizers, I had the shrimp and crab egg roll and he had the beef egg rolls. Mine were amazing!!! I could have gotten another order of that and I would have been perfectly happy. He said his was good as well. I wish that I would have stopped there. For the entrées, I wanted the seafood gumbo, but since I don't eat pork, the chef concocted a sort of etoufee. There was a big plate of brown gravyish sauce with shrimp, scallops and calamari in it. The seafood was bland and unfortunately, the rice in the middle of the dish was cold as if it came from the refrigerator and was put directly on the plate. I patiently waited for my server for about 5 minutes, but he was at the bar chatting with 2 women. I alerted a passing waiter, who apologized, and he took my plate. There was some chatter around the kitchen, and a woman seemed to walk toward my table, but she looked at me, hesitated and walked back to the kitchen. About 15 minutes later, that same woman brought my piping hot plate out and said "here you go, nice and hot." And it was piping hot. He had the short short rib and he said it was good. For dessert, he got the creme brulee. I tasted it, but I did not care for it. It was too liquidy. The chocolate truffles were delicious, though. Overall, I have mixed reviews. It started off great, but then went downhill. I wonder if it is because they clise at 9pm and our reservation was at 8pm. First time in Naples, FL, and was looking for a high-end restaurant to have our first dinner. Our hotel mention this place was excellent so my husband and I were excited to have dinner here. The bread and appetizer were excellent. Must try their Tuna nachos, tuna was so fresh. For dinner, I had the halibut, which was okay. Husband is a big steak lover, so he asked for a bone-in ribeye, medium-rare and he received a medium-well steak. They cooked another steak for him, and he received a rare steak. He was pretty disappointed, he barely finished it. A high-end place should know how to cook a steak. The ambiance was very nice and our waitress, Dawn was superb. I recommend if you want good seafood this is the place but not for meat lovers. read more

Great waterfront location with plenty of free parking (complimentary valet also available) in the Venetian shops. We were seated in the terrace with full waterfront views. They also offer inside and outside dining. The service started out slow and we couldn't figure out who our actual waiter was. The first guy kept disappearing for long periods at a time. Once the second guy took our order it got much better with the exception he didn't write anything down and brought the wrong entree. The chef sent out an amuse bouche of grilled cheese and tomato bisque which was excellent. We ordered a wedge salad ($13) and the fig + blue salad ($15), the seabass ($45) and the bone-in ribeye ($62). The wedge was sad looking, they could have done a better job with presentation. The fig + blue was excellent and nicely presented and great flavors. The seabass was also excellent. Perfectly cooked and nicely presented with broccoli and goat cheese dumplings. The orange and ginger broth on the fish was a great compliment. My other half cut in to the steak and knew it wasn't a ribeye, it was the NY strip. We called the waiter back over since they didn't come back to check on our food. We told him we ordered the ribeye and not the new york steak. He apologized and quickly had a ribeye out in a few minutes. For dessert we chose the croissant bread pudding and it did not disappoint. It was soft and flavorful and the cinnamon ice cream was delicious. A great ending to our dinner. Overall the M was very good. With a couple exceptions the food was very good, the views were great and service was hit and miss. I would definitely come back when in Naples. read more

Waterfront Grille was fantastic and lived up to the hype. We were seated right by the water inside with a gorgeous view. We made the reservation over a month in advance which I recommend as we had by far the best table in the house. They started off with complimentary tomato soup and grilled cheese which was light and flavorful. I had the beet and goat cheese heirloom salad and the highlight was the fried goat cheese ball. I had the lobster tail for my main entree (they split it for me) and it was rich and buttery. Lastly we finished off with key lime pie (the birthday dessert) and caramel bread pudding. The place has the essence of a great restaurant but it's pretty meh off season. It's hard to give it a low review because the customer service was pretty good and everything was clean. There are lots of windows looking out on the water but the water is ugly brown so not the best thing to look out. The Philly sandwich was gross to me but other people really liked it. I thought they did a good job with the burrata salad it's just tomato and cheese with dressing. Brunch out has to be my favorite meal of the day. And M Waterfront Grill did not disappoint on this recent Sunday. Funny. I always underestimate locations that are in strip malls as before I moved here, that wasn't the norm. But in Florida, there are all these hidden places that I would normally just drive by that often surprise me, and this is one of those places. You enter on the parking lot side but the second you walk in, you can see the pretty bay that this sits on. Every seat has a view and given it is Covid, they even have some tables outside if that is more your thing. We were seated in a glass enclosed room in the back- great views and great air conditioning which was perfect on this hot day. Our server, Dawn, was fantastic! Personable and knowledgable, you can tell she really just loves what she does and took care of us in making sure everything was just great! We started with a couple of their Bloody Marys. Perfectly poured and in a great sized glass (I have a thing about tiny glasses and drinks that don't look appealing) On our table were three pieces of complimentary cinnamon cake. I wasn't going to have one but when others at the table raved about it, I gave in and enjoyed the sweet snack. It was so good I wanted to buy one to take home for breakfast another day! Our entrees came up quickly and were very good. I had the traditional eggs Benedict and my friend had one made with smoked salmon (not on the menu but they were happy to oblige) and both were delicious! My other friend had a watermelon salad that she was able to add chicken to and it was the perfect light meal. Brunch for three with drinks ran about $114 (the drinks were $30 of the total so entrees are in the $20-25 range. Free parking in a big lot as well. And while I didn't enjoy it on this visit, there is a nice big bar in the center that looked like a great place to grab a drink and catch up with friends. Visited M Waterfront last night with my parents and 6 year old son. We've all dined a time or two before and enjoyed ourselves. I'll start with the positives that our server was excellent, we were seated immediately with our reservation and had a lovely view overlooking the water from our table. We enjoyed cocktails and my son had a great cheeseburger with a generous portion of tater tots to boot. The beet salad, octopus and Lobster bisque starters were all delightful and recommended. Where this visit detracted from the positive was in our main dishes. My mom ordered a sea bass that had a smoky flavor so overpowering it took over all other items on the plate and none of us cared to finish it. My filet mignon was also charred on the top which detracted from its flavor but I used my béarnaise to try to cover up that taste which I shouldn't have to do for a $50 steak. My stepdads shortrib was delicious and we recommend. The only other comment I'd make is their options for dietary preferences are not easily called out nor available as so many competitors are making them these days. My parents are both gluten free and thus we're unable to enjoy the bread to start and unable to select many entree options as there were not alternatives available. We're going to take a break on our visits to M Waterfront for a bit in hopes they expand their availability of dietary restricted substitutes and even out their entree quality. read more

Went for dinner, sat outside by the water and had the tuna nachos (delicious) and beet & fried goat cheese (not enough fried goat cheese for the portion of beets, but also delicious). For the main we split ($5 charge) the short rib which was also delicious and plenty of food even for two. We ordered the key lime pie and chocolate cake for dessert - neither were that great unfortunately. Key lime pie had a flour crust, I prefer graham cracker, and you could really taste the sweetened condensed milk over the key lime. The chocolate cake was a bit dry, saved by the thick layer of ganache. Service was outstanding, all staff was very pleasant. Oh and they give you a tomato bisque soup taster with this amazing cheese bread when you sit down, which we could have eaten 50 of. Overall excellent experience, prices were worth the food which is hard for me to find. read more

CONSISTENTLY DISAPPOINTING We've been going to M Waterfront for years. Each time I go, I promise myself that it's the last time. M Waterfront consistently disappoints, from both culinary and service perspectives. The food is always really bad to OK, and the service is always surly to subpar. But because it's so well located, walking distance from the beach, we have kept returning, once or twice a season, hoping each time that something will have changed. But no. Last night was our last try. M Waterfront, we're done with you. Specifics: We sat outside, a lovely table on the bay. We had high hopes. It's post-season and there were few guests present. Even so, we waited ~10 minutes before anyone came by to even fill water glasses. The Food: We ordered starters and entrees. Starters arrived; we finished them. The empty plates sat waiting, flies surrounding us, for another 10 minutes. When waitress finally returned and brought our entrees, we asked her to remove the empties. She didn't. When starters were finally cleared, flatware was also removed. No one replaced them. So when our entrees arrived, rather than wait another 10 minutes for the waitress to return to ask us if we needed anything (like fork and knife) we needed to help ourselves to the setups at the table next to us, so we could eat while hot. Happened Another 10 minutes before she returned to check on our entrees, and we asked her again to remove the empty salad plates. Same thing happened after we finished our entrees. The empty plates sat there, attracting pests (but not attracting a waitstaff) for 10 minutes. Water glasses sat empty the whole time. The Food: I ordered the Miso Seabass entree, $55. Describe as having goat cheese dumplings, and tricolor cauliflower in a citrus broth, it sounded delicious to me. BUT the dumplings were blobs of dough, flattened under the fish and drowned in broth. Unidentifiable without the menu description, and inedible. The cauliflower was black on one side and otherwise raw. Again, inedible. I had high hopes for the miso seabass. Miso makes any fish even better. But no. This seabass had gristle in it. I didn't know that was a thing - gristly fish. I've never had gristle in seafood before, and I eat a lot of seafood. Either way, one would think, and fairly expect, that a $55 piece of fish would be a fine cut, not l gristly. I ended up spitting most of my entrée into my napkin - fish, dumplings, and cauliflower. Never again, M Waterfront. Life's too short to waste another meal with you. Besides, Naples has so many great restaurants - go anywhere else but here! read more

Horrible service everytime we are in there. My mom and I went in for an after dinner cocktail and asked for a bread basket. The bartender and manager both rolled their eyes at us before fulfilling the request. This is the second time we have had management argue with us or be completely condescending. I must say, that if you're looking for a a bit of an upscale lunch with a great vibe and good view, the "M" is for you. We've been here several times but I'm compelled to review it this time. The M is a large place with a nice sized bar and a dining area that's light and airy with water views. The service is very friendly and speaks to how well the establishment is run. I just loved our server and wish I could remember her name. Truffle French fries anyone? If you enjoy truffles or are in the mood to experiment, these are quite good. Beef Spring Roll with Sriracha cream sauce? A lively roll with a sauce I could bathe in. Scottish Salmon? For lunch? YES PLEASE! Linda loves this and orders it every time we're there. Me? I like to try different things and for this visit I chose Chicken Milanese. Kinda pedestrian, right? Chef has a great touch and this dish I wish I could have had seconds. If you're looking for something a bit more refined for lunch without sticker shock, I urge you to try the "M" Waterfront Grill. I guess the "M" stands for Mmmmmm! read more
