An okay nail salon. I came here for a dip manicure because I saw that they have fun vibes. I even brought my friends along but unfortunately we were all a little disappointed. I don't remember the technician who helped me but I was not pleased with the end result. I also had several cuts on my fingers after the visit. The manicure lasted me a little more than a week which is very short for dip manicure. read more

Janelle did a really nice job with my pedicure. She took her time trimming my toe nails. She even asked if it relieved the pressure where my toe nail was digging into my skin. No one has ever asked me that. I will be back! read more

This was hands-down the most amazing experience I've ever had in a Nail Salon in my entire life and I know that sounds dramatic but it's true! From the owner to the technicians I felt like a VIP and a valued and important and cared about person. My entire nervous system is so relaxed that I feel like I could drift right to sleep! Not only do they interact with you and make sure you're happy with how everything is going but they don't ignore you and talk amongst themselves as if you're just an annoying job they're doing which is what I've experienced in so many other salons. I've been looking for my go to Nail Salon since I moved here and I'm so happy I finally found it! The second you walk in you are greeted and made to feel welcome and there is so much warmth and friendliness that it feels like home. Nobody is rushing you when you're done and making you feel like you need to vacate the chair for someone else. The entire environment and vibe is just relaxed and Zen. The absolute cherry on top is that both my manicure and pedicure were perfectly done and I am so happy with how they look. Plus it was literally one of the top 3 massages I've ever had! I know this probably sounds too good to be true but... It actually is and I will keep coming back as long as I live here! My technicians were Lorraine and Shelby and I am so grateful to both of you for making my Sunday so relaxing and enjoyable and to the owner who kept offering me drinks and smiling so warmly I appreciate every single moment so much! read more

Wow, what an amazing experience! I've been getting my nails done for years and this is one of my favorite salons, from the excellent service walking in to the conversations with everyone, plus my stylist did an amazing job on my nails. I love that the stylist next to me even gave her client advice on what color to get that would compliment her toe color. read more

From the moment you CALL in to the moment you leave the service is impeccable! Fernando is an exceptional owner and cares about ensuring that the guest receives the utmost care and attention. Heck, the second I call and mention my name he knows exactly who I am, knows exactly what services we request, the people I'm taking with me and exactly what we ask for drinks! Where do I start? From their customer service, gratitude for every customer that walks in, their attention to detail, their positive energy and vibe, the cleanliness, the amount of colors to choose from, the EXCELLENT workmanship and professionalism....LOVE IT ALL!! Top notch place. I found them because the photo I showed a different nail salon the day before looked nothing like the photo. Sigh. I wasn't going to keep it for a week or two, so I found M3V nails on yelp. I went in for a gel polish change and a pedicure. So happy I did! This is the best salon. I needed a pedicure and I just walked into M3V and they took me right in. Susie was my nail tech. She was awesome. Very professional and she did a great job with my pedicure. My feet felt like butter when I left (so smooth). They have a beautiful shop and all of staff and really nice. They made my last minute experience quite relaxing and enjoyable. Used to go here with my mom and remembered loving it. Decided to try it out again and couldn't be more dissatisfied. The nail tech I had was great and did an awesome job on my nails. I had called ahead of time to find out how much my nails would cost, and was told they were going be $45-$50. When I went to pay, though, I realized she charged me $60. I asked why it cost so much and was told gel cost an extra $15, which I hadn't asked for. I then asked for a refund just for the extra $15 that I was unaware of, and I was refused and given attitude. I was visiting Phoenix and decided to stop in for a pedicure after reading the positive reviews. I thought they took walk ins but apparently not. The lady working the counter was not helpful on any level. I asked if I could get a pedicure she didn't greet me looked at her computer and then at me and said "We just sat our 1:00 appointment." She was dismissive. Typically nails salons will inform you if they are busy and they can work you in in a certain amount of time or they have an appointment available coming up. Not this place, she said the 1:00 showed up and that was it. I didn't feel very welcomed at this salon and could not recommend it based on my interaction with the front desk clerk. Will NOT come back. Mail tech was nice but did not execute a gel mani with 2 acrylic tips correctly. She didn't wrap my nails like most places do to remove the previous gel color- she used a drill and it didn't remove all of the polish. I told her that there was still grey polish and she made an excuse and tried to tell me that it was my nail.. my nail isn't grey lady. Then she told me she didn't like the color i picked out and that it won't cover my nail completely but that is what I wanted. I got pink french and I believe she wanted a different color so you couldn't see her mistakes. She also put the polish directly over the acrylic tip and didn't use the powder stuff so you could clearly see where the fake top started. I told the manager during check out that I needed to come back because the tips weren't secured and have them fixed and she made an excuse that they looked good. I also emailed the manager again the next day requesting for a refund for my nails, she declined my request and gave a sorry excuse that the tech has been doing nails for 11 years etc and that It was the polish color I chose (OPI mod about you). Just because she has a license for 11 years doesn't mean she is good whatever! I won't come back - see for yourself, this photo is 2 days after (i knew the tips weren't going to last) What a waste of $65!! read more

This beer-focused bar isn't the easiest to find because it's underground down a stairwell. Look for the signage close to the stairwell. Ambiance (3.5/5): We sat at a booth at the bar. It's one of the few seats that have back support (which is important to me due to my old man back). Outside of that, it's all barstool seating with no back support inside. Outside, they have a small patio with chairs. That would be another option for me when the weather cooperates. The decor inside is your typical beer bar decor. Laid back. Comfortable. There's a jukebox. A cool place to grab some brews. Service (3.5/5): Two bartenders were working that evening and they were pretty solid. I did have to grab their attention a few times but no biggie. The Whining Pig has daily specials including a beer and grilled cheese combo on Wednesdays. I was curious on the price. They didn't know nor did they find out. That was a miss. Food (N/A): No food for me on this visit as I had dinner prior. They have a small menu, mostly made up of various grilled cheese sandwiches. They have a classic one, a pizza one, and a few others. I'm a dan of grilled cheese so I'll definitely try one out at some point. They also have charcuterie boards. Drinks (4.5/5): Now for the good stuff! Unlike most beer spots, they also have wine and several cocktails. But when in Rome, so I went with a beer flight. You can choose five beers of your choosing from a list of 40 beers or so. While they don't brew their own beer, they have an interesting selection of local craft beers and European ones. The types of beers you're not going to find at your neighborhood bar, including saisons and sours. The flight is served in a pig shape holder which was pretty funny. Flights are always my go-to when they're offered as they allow you to try out a nice variety. Added bonus: Walk down the hallway past the bathrooms and you'll run into Pigtails---a speakeasy owned by the same folks. That way, you can get both your brews and elevated cocktails fix in the same night.

If you still can't decide the friendly bar staff will help you out, there are a lot of options. They do have some things on happy hour. Food wise they have a charcuterie board, grilled cheese sandwiches& potato chips. Menu items from Pigtails are also available at the bar. There is a big bar top area and other indoor table seating, patio is shady during the day. I'd recommend this spot if you're out shopping and need a break or if you just want a cool bar to hang out at. If you like ciders the Black Widow -Original Sin cider is very delicious.

We also ordered the cauliflower nachos. They were good but had very little sauce on them. We asked for more sauce and the server happily returned with a side of sauce. Excellent service at the register when ordering and excellent service throughout the meal. They have other specials on other nights as well as happy hour deals. This is hands down the best restaurant all around in the area. I did not feel like I was dining in a supermarket. That ambiance was great.
