Maya is sweet, professional, and did a perfect job with my microdermabrasion facial. The entire procedure lasted about 45 minutes, and not only was it quick, but the results were instantly visible. She began by cleansing and prepping my skin for the treatment. Then she performed the microdermabrasion, followed by extractions, and finished with a nourishing hydrating mask. My face was absolutely glowing afterward and felt so clean and polished. The results were even more noticeable the next day! Just in time for Easter! I really hate to make this review because I had a good time conversing with Maya. However, my experience is that this is my facial ever, so I came in for a hydrofacial to have a soft start into the process. She didn't evaluate my face before telling me which procedure would be best which I found odd. I opted for the least minimally invasive procedure, a hydrofacial. The facial went from cleansing, hydrating, extractions, hydrating, steaming, red light. I found the experience to be uncomfortable due to the extractions, she was quite rough with dragging the metal tool across my face. I don't have acne, but I did come in with one pimple that wasn't quite ready to be popped, but she really forced it to be extracted. She put a lot of force on my skin to pop the pimple, and never asked if it hurt or uncomfortable. It hurt enough that I involuntarily had tears. I questioned her if it was ready to be extracted, and I was worried it would leave a scar (it did...) because I have an upcoming photoshoot. She said yes and continued. I felt it could be better with certain ways to make guests feel more welcomed and relaxed. She was also on a call for a few minutes during the facial, and it didn't bother me in the moment, but it contributes to not being fully relaxed. Afterward the facial didn't really help my skin, I think I came out a bit worse or nothing different. I still had dry patches, my pimple had to be repopped late on, and my skin didn't change. For $150, I should've saved my money and bought better skincare... Overall, I just find the facial not what I expected it to be which is healing, relaxed, and good feels. read more

This was my first time here and thankfully it was a Groupon because AFTER I arrived at the salon she let me know her Hydrafacial machine was broken. I paid for a hydrafacial valued at $170, so I suggested we swap out for acne facial since my skin was breaking out. Then she said well you have a Groupon. Well the Groupon is $170 and acne facial is $110 so what is the issue? She wouldn't perform an acne facial on my skin because I only have "very little acne" on my skin" I was having breakouts all over my chin. Isn't that why people GO to an aesthetician?? Then she made another excuse that because I had a patch of eczema she couldn't perform the facial. She's racist and/or she doesn't like to honor Groupons. DON'T COME HERE. read more
