I wasn't trying to treat wrinkles or remove freckles. If anything, the laser worsened my rosacea and made my already sensitive skin more sensitive. The receptionists/sales ladies were always very friendly. However, the main issue I had was the inconsistency with expertise. I had a different technician at every session and received very different information and advice. One technician literally refused to laser my face that day because my skin was already agitated, whereas previous technicians proceeded anyway. Some technicians (including some receptionists) strongly suggested the "duo" treatment, which ended up aggravating my skin and resulted in a couple of surprise zits. Interestingly enough, the technician at a later session told me I should NOT get the duo as it would be too much for my skin and I didn't need it. Inconsistencies. Case in point. So, while I don't think this business deserves a one star review, I do agree that it's definitely not for everyone. I also really disliked being asked to tip at the end of every session. Despite the initial promo, the treatments were still quite expensive. Call me the cheap a-hole all you want, but I never did leave a tip. I didn't get any results. I also don't tip my dentist and those cleanings require more skill.

Found them on Groupon and per the Groupon instructions called them to confirm availability before purchasing the Groupon. They advised they would honor the Groupon price. Ok, sure. No prob, I rather pay the business directly. They honored the Groupon price. I added an add-on to my service, which is normally priced at $20, but they charged me $30 for it. You could hear them talking about charging me $30 for it vs $20 since I was a Groupon deal (assuming it's already money lost for them). You can hear *everything* because there is no separation between "rooms". Just curtains. My fault for not saying anything in the moment... Outside of this, as alluded to, there are no rooms so there is no privacy or sense of relaxation. If you don't want to be on Groupon because you won't make $$ off of it, then take yourself off. No one is being forced to put themselves on that platform.

She described light peels as "chipping away" at the problems (for me, milder acne scars and hyperpigmentation and larger pores). 2nd peel: We went for a medium peel and I certainly peeled! Which was great. The results were more obvious (but still subtle), with less texture and smaller pore in a patch of skin with acne scars. I can see that some of my dark spots faded a few shades. Raissa is a lovely, warm person and very competent at her work. Her clean, lovely room is located in Bravo Hair Salon with plenty of parking in a garage off Lake Ave. (Be sure to directly put in the address! There is a different Brave salon in Pasadena closer to my home and I always accidentally drive there first!)

I got a custom facial from Jeff and everything was perfect! There is a garage for the building (parking is validated) so you don't have to search for parking. The studio is easy to find and in a gorgeous building with other types of beauty and spa services in case you want to make a day of it. Everything in Jeff's studio was spotless with a gorgeous neutral aesthetic and beautifully decorated. The facial was everything. It left my skin feeling hydrated and clean and so relaxed... it felt like I just got a facial and a massage in one! Jeff is super professional and made the whole experience comfortable and fun but easy. You'll likely end up being friends!! I would absolutely recommend coming for your next facial!!! read more

I went for the 'I'm Fresh' facial, an 80-minute treat perfect for newbies like me. Jeff asked questions before we started to really understand my skin.
