(Note: The furniture bar cabinets and library were added later on and were not part of this contractor's project). From start to finish, the entire team was extremely professional, dedicated, and highly skilled. On the very first day we met, Nir helped design a 3D view of the project that perfectly captured exactly what we had envisioned. Throughout the build, we had a weekly walkthrough with Nir to check if we had any questions or concerns, which kept communication incredibly clear. Elba was also an excellent project coordinator who was always available to answer our questions and keep everything on track daily. The construction crew themselves were clearly very experienced and knowledgeable; they followed our approved plans meticulously and were happy to accommodate extra requests along the way. You can truly gauge the quality of their work by the fact that every single city inspector visit passed on the first try--nothing ever had to be rescheduled or redone because everything was built perfectly to plan. Additionally, all of the finishes--from the drywalling to the trim work and paint--were done with high-quality materials and top-tier craftsmanship. Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend them!

I was first referred to Preferred Builders by my tax preparer, Happily, my first repair/remodel turned out wonderfully so I immediately started a remodel on my own home. Scope of work: remove all the carpeting in the house and install laminate plank flooring in those areas. The travertine flooring in the entry, kitchen and hallway had large craters which collected dirt and water residue after washing. I had the floor steamed, the craters filled and the whole floor resealed. I had a gasline installed in the kitchen and a new gas oven installed. I also had a complete bathroom remodel which included removing a huge jacuzzi tub and installing an elegant and safe walk in shower. For the bathroom Nir listened to my concerns and needs and then gave me two 3-D renderings of my options. Elba was fabulous and fast with permits, a purchase list and provided weekly job schedules and updates. I have now completed this remodel and I can't be happier. My Preferred Builders team was pure gold! I highly recommend Nir, Elba and Orel, the Foreman. Orel was caring and his experience was invaluable, Roman, (drywall, moldings, paint, flooring) Carlo (beautiful tile work) and Abnir were all professional, caring and kind. My remodel was reasonable and fast. I definitely recommend Preferred and I already have.

Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Our project manager Tamir was exceptional -- responsive, organized, and clearly invested in the quality of the work. He kept the job moving at a surprisingly fast pace and promptly resolved issues as they arose. Pricing was competitive -- we got multiple estimates and Way To Go came in reasonable without cutting corners. You can see it in the finish quality: the stonework is clean, the tile on the curved bench is precise, and the side yard pathway turned out better than we imagined. Our pool cleaner gave high praise on the resurfacing work when he arrived for the first cleaning! Highly recommend for anyone looking to transform their outdoor space -- quality work, fair pricing, and a timeline that'll surprise you.

The remodel included changing the old plaster to mini pebble, installing new tile, adding a new LED pool light, and doing the deco seal around the pool. The finish came out great and it completely refreshed the look of the pool. Once all the materials were ordered and ready, the actual work was completed in about a week, which I was really happy about. Tamir kept everything organized and the crew stayed on schedule. I also appreciated that he was able to accommodate a couple of last-minute additions I requested during the project and made sure everything was taken care of. The crew did solid work and the pool looks great now. I'm happy with how everything turned out and would recommend Way To Go Builders if you're planning a pool remodel.

The pavers and driveway are honestly stunning - our neighbors have given us so many compliments already! The team was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and explained the process clearly along the way. Communicating over Whatsapp with them was great. We went back and forth proposing solutions to the drainage issues and where to put the stairs - they really listened to all our ideas and improved them. Their proposed amazing drainage solutions are effective and work great. The quality of their work and planning was top tier. They were respectful of our property and left the place clean when the job was done. It's not easy to find contractors you trust, but these guys absolutely delivered. Later, "Jacob" called me back later and expressed condescending concern that I had ONLY a $150K budget. I told him that's where the budget starts, not ends and asked him what the true cost was. He responded back that it's between $300 and $450 a square foot. So I told him, "Okay, if my calculations are correct, if I go with $350 a square foot so I'm not at the rock bottom, and I multiply that by 600 sq ft for a small ADU, that is roughly $210K for a price starting point with your company?" "Well no it's not exactly... "Then what did I miss?" "Well there's all sorts of other things blah blah blah..." Overall the tone was condescending and he made it clear that I didn't know what I was talking about, when in fact I have 15 years experience as a home designer that designs and budgets facelifts on houses that are about to go up for sale. I have dealt with contractors for many, many years. Eventually I got fed up with his tone and told him to cancel the appointment. I am impressed with the overall quality of work. The kitchen looks modern now, the white quartz is stylish and easy to clean. Our bathroom vanities look amazing and cohesive with our kitchen, as we were able to use the same countertop material and cabinets as the kitchen. Our master bathroom has a full height (counter to ceiling) quartz backsplash that is one solid piece! I was impressed with that because maneuvering and installing such a large and heavy piece was surely difficult . Most of the new floor looks and feels great, there is only one or two spot that has a bit of flex to it but that is no fault of the company, since that portion of the subfloor isn't perfectly level and we're using floating floors. They applied self leveling cement on it already and leveling it even further to fix those flexes would've costed me more money, which I opted not to spend, but they tried their best and worked with me to make it satisfactory. We had existing wood cabinets that needed molding to cover the expansion gap between it and the flooring, and the color of the molding (brown, wood-like color) they used matched perfectly with the wood cabinet! Our new doors look good too, they were able to re-use our existing door knobs and put them back on for us. The paint finish is excellent, and when I pointed out a couple of small gashes on the sides of one of the doors (most likely came like this out of the box), they fixed those and painted them as well. Jesus and his son did some spot painting in a variety of areas (near mini split, window frame, stucco paint) and it looks great! I was pleasantly surprised that they also added matching texture when they painted the ceiling and walls of the kitchen and bathroom vanities, as we never had painted texture in those areas before. Customer service: The best I have ever seen from a contractor. Ido responds extremely fast to text messages or phone calls. He will not hesitate to call/text you back quickly regardless of whether or not it's good news or bad news, which shows how honest and upfront he is. We had a few unforeseen problems during the project (which are normal and will likely happen for most construction projects) but he was able to come up with solutions that worked for both of us. He is quite sociable as well, as he got along well with my family and they enjoy talking to him. Jesus and his son was a pleasure to work with. Jesus came on time, mostly showed up when he said he would, and worked hard to make us happy. For example, in one of the bedrooms, we had floors and the door replaced. The two large desks that we wanted to put back into the room did not fit through the door opening anymore after it was replaced with a new door. Jesus and his son worked overtime and stayed after 6:00 PM to remove the newly installed door, move the desks (which still barely fit in the door frame's rough opening) into the room, and put the door back on! Initially I had given up and told them it's ok to not put the desk back in, told them I would just buy new smaller desks, but they insisted they could put them back in, and with some clever pivoting and movement, they got it in! Jorge and his wife have amazing stone masonry skills. I would guess they've been doing this for a long time, probably decades. The quartz countertop, backsplash, and waterfall edge they installed look great! Jorge also came back to do small touch up finishes/fixes. I love how Precision Home Remodeling is the type of company that will come back to fix something if it is not right, even after you've paid them. Work is up to code and proper. Ido and his crew have a high level of attention to detail and will fix and/or finish things that I don't always need to point out beforehand. They are not afraid of doing things the right way, even if it takes extra time. Overall, I highly recommend Precision Home Remodeling for your construction needs.
