TLDR: I totally recommend this place. Worth the price and value. Great service and customer support. I brought my laptop in to be serviced by Christian. One of the USB C ports on my MacBook Pro stopped working. Charging cable shorted and ruined the port. I was quoted around $800 at Apple, and literally no other computer repair shop answered my calls or voicemails left. Christian picked up the phone first try, and was able to squeeze me in the same day. I was quoted a very reasonable price (more than half of what Apple offered). The laptop needed some extra time to repair which was totally ok, as the quality of service I received was incredible. My laptop was returned to me in like new condition and I have no issues with it now. I really recommend this place and will definitely be coming back for other laptop/electronics issues I have. Drinking my early morning coffee while being cramped at a small desk, I reached over to grab a pen and boom coffee all over my laptop and keyboard. I panicked and was trying my best to dry it out with napkins and shut down the computer immediately. Screaming at myself for placing the coffee cup next to the computer, I'm an idiot and now I would need to spend a lot of money to repair this laptop. My 2015 Macbook had been diagnosed with needing a new logic board, and I took it to EZPC to get the logic board repaired, after reading some of the incredible reviews on Yelp. And, EZPC lived up to them! Chris quoted me an extremely reasonable price for the replacement logic board and repair and even provided a loaner laptop since I use my Macbook for work. Before EZPC, I took my laptop to another place for an assessment. They quoted me a price significantly higher then EZPC, with no guarantee that it would work. I had an extremely successful, positive experience at EZPC! I called one morning around 10am and explained that there was an issue with my MacBook Pro computer screen. I needed a battery replacement for my Acer and they were quick and responsive even around the holidays. They didn't have the battery in stock (it's not a common computer so it's understandable) but even with the holiday delays, they were able to have a week turnaround. Unfortunately my laptop did not agree with the 2 batteries that they were able to order for me but they were very prompt, responsive and professional. I stupidly spilled water on my MacBook 16 inch and I thought it was totally dead. It would not turn back on after weeks. I brought it to Apple and they quoted me $1500 to fix it, which isn't that much more than the thing cost. I brought it to Chris and he fixed it for $400! The logic board and everything works. The only thing that could not be repaired was the Touch Bar - which lights up but does not work. I was able to download the "Touch Bar simulator" on the desktop so it's all good. I had such a great experience with Ezpc Macbook Repair! I took my computer (Macbook Air 2017) here after I spilled some water on it and the screen started flickering/it wouldn't hold a charge. After some research, I figured it was most likely a logic board issue and that Apple would probably charge me $650 + to repair it. I skipped going to Apple and instead looked for repair shops in LA that could handle this issue, and saw that Ezpc got all 5-star reviews. I took my laptop in last Saturday and saw Chris--he took a look and pointed out where the water had caused corrosion on the logic board. He first tried to clean it with alcohol and see if that would fix the issue, but it needed a more intensive repair. He pointed out exactly what he thought the problem was and based on that gave me a reasonable quote (less than a third of what Apple would likely charge). 3 days later, I got an email that my laptop was completely fixed and ready for pickup! I've had it back for a few days now and it's completely back to normal. I was having a difficult time with my 2016 Macbook Pro where it wouldn't recognize the battery at times and other times work fine before just turning off without notice. First took it to Apple who wanted me to pay a flat fee to fix whatever might be wrong even though they could not diagnose the issue. Some searching online led me to Chris. I can't speak to the most recent reviews, but I had a very good experience with Chris. He spent ample time diagnosing the issues and laying out a plan of attack, all at a more reasonable cost than Apple. When my MacBook Pro screen started acting up I was super nervous that it would cost me an arm and a leg. Luckily, the person helping me tried replacing the drive and seeing if that would work, as a cheaper fix. It did not work but the fact that he checked was much appreciated. Had a great experience here! My 2011 MacBook Pro had the infamous graphics card go out. Chris did a hardware workaround where he bypassed the original AMD and it's now using the integrated graphics card. Hi all , Let me share my experience with Mac Ezpc ,chris and the owner. They are totally scammers. I had broken piece in my logic board (transistor) ,(imac 2017) I called them to fix it for me so they said we can do it and need to be send to us with power supply and memory. After I sent it to them , they have charged me 110$ 1- the have make horrible fix 2- the stolen my rams 3- they broken my graphics card adapter and then they have shipped to me as its function , I immediately noticed that the graphics adapter is broken and sent them picture on the delivery, of course they said its not our mistake , I took the hole imac to their shop in order to fix their mistake . Chris said yes we broke and you will pay in order for us to fix it, we will charge you another 170$ , and they said will fix it with 5 days , in the end after 15 days after more than 5 calls to chris and his boss with very bad attitude they said we will not fix it for you because you called so many times I just want to let you know , do not even think to send your computer their , they will use it for something else and they are totally scammers . I have documented everything and I will start a case in BBB. The total loss I have is 600$ , If I would repair the issue with apple it self it won't take more than 300$ . I took my laptop to have a cleaning done and to have antivirus installed, they gave it to me the next day, I check the laptop at my house and I realize that it is the same as I gave it to them, I return to the store the next day and I They say that it does NOT have antivirus and that the problems are "normal" they offered me to do things right, but if they didn't do it at first, nothing assures me that they will do it right the next time, what bothers me is that they told me lies, $ 70 was what I lost doing business with these non-professional people, a bad experience and I definitely don't recommend them. read more

I can't possibly recommend this place strongly enough. A couple weeks ago, my MacBook Pro began noticeably overheating, which in turn resulted in slow performance and apps crashing. After running diagnostics, I confirmed that it was a fan-related issue. Apple Tech support proved incapable of identifying, much less solving the issue via phone, and flat out told me they couldn't help me after confirming that every Apple Store/Genius Bar in a 20-mile radius was closed (due to Covid-19), and that every Apple-authorized repair place in LA had a wait period of at least two weeks. Taking matters into my own hands, I visited two local repair shops (neither authorized by Apple), one of which quoted me $125+ and a 48-hour turnaround and the other of which said I'd have a 1.5 week wait just to get my problem diagnosed, after which I'd likely be looking at a $300+ bill. After finding EZPC on Yelp, I figured I'd give them a shot. I called to make an appointment, and Chris told me to simply come in the following morning. When I did, he greeted me immediately, there was no wait, he fixed the problem within 5 minutes, charged me $20, and sent me on my way. No up-selling. No BS. Exactly what I needed. Chris is so smart and super amazing! I have a 2011 MacBook pro and it was so slow and I think it had more than one virus. One of my MacBook Pro's is almost 10 years old. I use this computer only to edit photo's but for some reason I kept getting an error code that wouldn't let me download jpeg pictures from my iPhone to my computer. The Apple store couldn't fix it and recommended that I upgrade the whole system. I also have a newer MacBook Pro that already has the system they wanted me to upgrade to. However, I prefer the older system on my older laptop because of the crystal clear photo editing. If I upgraded the system I would lose the older program and that would defeat the whole reason why I've kept this computer for so long, so that wasn't the smartest solution for me. I called Chris and explained to him what was going on and even though his store was closed he let me stop by so he could check it out. He figured out a solution in less than 10 minutes and the minor problem was solved. He's a no-nonsense, cut to the chase, problem solver and walked me through a new set of steps on how to still have the ability to download jpeg's to my computer.
