Every place I contacted either told me they couldn't help or wanted me to replace the entire unit. Star Service 88 was the first company willing to actually diagnose the problem instead of giving up. The technician took the time to remove my head unit, completely disassemble it, find the issue, and repair it. He explained everything along the way, was patient, and charged a very fair price for the work. It's rare to find someone willing to do component-level electronics repair these days, and that's exactly what they did. On top of fixing my radio, he also noticed my sound system wasn't tuned properly from a previous installation. He took the extra time to balance my speakers and improve the overall sound quality, fixing a problem that another shop had left behind. They solved a problem that over 15 other businesses wouldn't even attempt, and they did it professionally, honestly, and at a fair price. It was to fix the wifi/bt module, which ultimately got replaced, with, in my opinion, a quick turnaround of two weeks. They knew their stuff, explained everything, and actually cared about helping me find the right thing instead of just making a sale. I had my 8-month-old with me, and they were super welcoming. I would give zero stars to these hacks if I could.Mitchell the owner advertised a 2018 15" Macbook pro for $700 on Facebook marketplace.I talked to him several times before commiting to the 40 mile drive in traffic to go pick it up.When I got there they DID NOT have the machine.They said they sold it and then tried selling me a much older 13" macbook for the same price.I was LIVID! They did not care that I drove for 2 hours in traffic with $7 per gallon gas.They did not even try to make it right.I literally talked to him 10 minutes before I arrived and he was still LYING telling me he had the machine in stock.They also lied about the time they had been in business.Everything about this shop is WRONG.they are incompetent hacks and LIARS.Stay away from this circus sideshow and do not give them your business.You will be glad you didn't waste your time,The shop looks like an Ikea afterthought gone wrong.The shop looks like they spent $200 getting it open.Completely fly by night amateur nonsense.Steer clear. read more

Just had a power surge then black out while I was working on my iMac desktop. it exploded ! Brought it down to Mitchell at MacEzPc and within two days they installed a new hard drive and most importantly restore all my data. They saved my life. They also took my second desktop, replaced the cracked screen and downloaded all the data from my main computer. All this for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend MacEzP. I've had to get my computer fixed here on 2 separate occasions due to crazy events, including a most recent event when my backpack was in the trunk of my car and pulled on the internal trunk opener. My trunk opened and this caused by bag to fall out and get ran over by cars on onramp to a freeway. I was able to circle back and retrieve my bag and they got 2 of my computers up and running again. This company is the absolute best! Most computer repair shops are happy to sell you a new logic board and install it for you. Very few will will be qualified to microsolder your existing hardware and bring it back to life. All this can be done for a 10th of the cost, by the computing equivalent of a Brain Surgeon! His openness, honesty, professionalism, and ability to tell me exactly what to expect from the beginning really stood out to me. Before coming here, I took my MacBook to Apple and then to another reputable repair shop. Both basically told me the same thing -- my logic board was fried, the repair would be extremely complicated, and replacing the entire logic board was probably the only realistic option. The other shop didn't even have confidence they could repair it. Luckily, I was referred to Mac EZPC, and these guys completely surprised me. Mitchell explained everything clearly and gave me straightforward pricing based on my MacBook model. No trying to figure out how badly I needed my computer or how much I was willing to spend. Their philosophy was basically simple: we fix it, you pay the agreed price; if we can't fix it, you don't pay. I really respected that. And THEY FIXED IT!! Instead of just replacing the logic board, their team actually had the experience and skill to repair the logic board itself and bring my MacBook back from the dead. This was a huge deal for me because this laptop contained years of files and important business data. They saved me from paying an exorbitant amount for professional data recovery AND from having to purchase a new logic board. Looking back, I'm actually glad the other shop gave me my laptop back instead of attempting the repair. The pricing there felt like they were trying to size up how much I could afford and how desperate I was to recover my computer. With Mitchell and his team, I never got that feeling. Their pricing was simple and upfront, and they delivered exactly what they said they would. These guys are TRUE Mac experts. Apple may call their technicians "Geniuses," but after seeing what this team was able to do when Apple basically told me the logic board needed to be replaced, I know where I'm taking my computers from now on. Mitchell and the entire team -- THANK YOU! You guys seriously saved me a ton of money, but more importantly, you saved years of data that I thought I might lose. If you have a MacBook or laptop that other shops are telling you is too complicated, too expensive, or not worth repairing, take it to these guys before giving up. 5,000 stars if Yelp would let me. The hard drive was failing and an IT tech recommended having it "imaged," which would result in an exact duplicate that would not require any software reauthentication. He also recommended Tech Care as the folks to do it. They initially tried doing an automatic imaging, which didn't take, so they attempted to manually image it and were successful. The computer now has a more reliable SSD drive (no moving parts) and it indeed works exactly as it used to (only faster). Eddie informed me that the old drive had maybe one month left before it completely failed. LIFE SAVERS!!! Eddie, Abed, Josh and everyone else I spoke to are top-notch guys, and the price to repair was eminently reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
