Steven Sam came out to measure and provide samples. He was so patient and gave much needed advice. The day of installation began Geraldo (I apologize if not spelled correctly and his men came out and installed Vinyl plank flooring as well as new baseboards and carpeting on the stairs. The crew was fabulous!! They left the house free of debris and clean everyday they were here. They were all so pleasant and definitely know what they're doing. Like paint you can think something will look good and you'll never know until it's installed. I am glad I trusted James's instinct. His two staff floor installers were also some of the best I've seen. Prior to James I had a carpet installer at another place and the carpet ended up having rolls in it 1-2 years later. AND.. I also had a kitchen remodel where the flooring people allowed water to seep in and the floor was damaged a year later (but it was too late by then and I could not get it replaced). These are OTHER experiences I am comparing to so you understand HOW GOOD JAMES IS. To-date, the carpet on my stair well is still flawless (this is now years later). And the the luxury vinyl plank James recommended are still my favorite in both color and quality. There have been zero issues. Austin met me at the property with carpet samples, which made the process so much easier. They also have a virtual app online that allowed me to see how the room would look with different carpet colors, which was such a helpful tool when making a decision. I was able to go into the showroom, discuss the color options, choose the carpet, and set the installation time for Tuesday evening at 4:00 PM. The installer arrived right on time at 9:00 AM Wednesday morning and was finished by 2:00 PM that same day. I was especially impressed with Lupe, the installer. He did a wonderful job, vacuumed the room, and completely cleaned up after himself. The whole experience was fast, professional, and easy from start to finish. I knew the carpet style that I wanted and had my measurements so we went right to the large spindles of carpets. He educated me about the quality of carpet and the prices associated with those carpets. We talked about installing the carpet and he has guys that do that. How his guys are bonded and insured. I picked between the 8 or so styles that he showed me, picked an installation date and time, paid my deposit and I was done. I even saved $65 by agreeing to pay the remainder of the balance to the installer on the day of the install . Chad is real knowledgeable and honest about prices and other carpet or flooring needs.
