Maybe you're going to ship some frozen sausages from Smoking Goose to your friend in Colorado. They'll stay frozen if you ship double-packed with ice and dry ice. Maybe you want your ice cubes to stay frozen when you go to a music festival so you can use them to make cocktails. Dry ice will keep those cubes solid. Oh yes it will.
