    French onion soup. Delicious!

What a Great little spot with plenty of food and bar options. I was happy to finally try their well known French onion soup; I literally try it wherever it is offered. Well, it lived up to the hype, SO good. For my lunch entree, I tried the open-faced Reuben; it was delicious. Service was great as well.

Machs Gute is a pub located on Linden St. in Bethlehem. They are open Tue - Thu 11AM - 12AM and Fri - Sat 11AM - 1AM. This place has been on my list for a few years now. I'm glad I finally made it in. The food was delicious and the staff was welcoming. The menu consists of wings, burgers, cheesesteaks, sandwiches, tacos, baskets, and salads. I decided to go with the French onion soup and sweet & spicy wings. The French onion soup is topped with garlic croutons and melted provolone cheese. This is something I usually wouldn't order, but I saw a few pictures and I had to have it. It was phenomenal! The sweet & spicy wings were cooked and sauced perfectly. The sauce had a great flavor. Slight kick, but not too spicy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Indoor and outdoor seating are both available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is no delivery but they do offer takeout. Went here for lunch the other day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a comfortable bar with a couple of TV sets.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress brought us water and took our drink order. She was very pleasant. I ordered the Open-faced Rueben. My wife got a BLT Sandwich. Both came with chips and pickles My Rueben sandwich was delicious with very succulent corn-beef. The BLT was also delicious with a ton of crispy Bacon. Good place for a nice lunch with great service.

Another great burger! Introduced my daughter the the burgers here, she had the 6oz. Still a big burger. Loved it!

Different cheesesteak #1079 in the last five years. I loved $9.25 for my cheesesteak and $6 for my draft. Wednesday night and this place was busy. Bartender ran a nice bar. The cheesesteak by itself was good. Standard roll. Decent amount of meat. Needed more cheese. I wish the sauce added more flavor. I was hoping for a 'Mach's Gute award winning special secret sauce.'

Good bar food and ambience, great French onion soup. Amazing prices. Pretty slow service- we had to hunt our waitress down but they seemed like it was due to being short staffed.

This is a cool place to grab a beer and wings on the north side of Bethlehem. Good beer selection and I like the sports bar vibes... it's also easy to get to, plenty of street parking around. Bartenders and wait staff are generally friendly and take care of you well. I've had a few bad experiences with take out, fries have been soggy, undercooked, and unappetizing. Not sure what happened, because they're usually pretty good when I order them at the restaurant.

You walk in, you are at the bar area,But, there is a hostess stand there if you are interested in grabbing a booth to order food. Which is what we have always done and is what we will now never do again because service from this 1 particular shorter waitress is awful. After she dropped our food to the table we didn't see her for an hour despite trying our best to flag her down and asking the other waitress to get her for us so we could have our bill. The owner was working harder than this waitress collecting our empty dishes, asked us if we needed anything, cleaning tables( our waitress removed a used empty glass when she seated us) and I have no clue where she went or what she was doing that while time that she failed to see if everything was okay, we needed anything/refills or were ready to the check. Instead, since my daughter is a regular, she gave us a tip to sit at the bar and order food. Service is much better. Every time we've gone there the food has always been good. This time I got a chicken philly cheesesteak and it was delicious also! Can't say much about the crowd. It's definitely a spot for the younger groups to hang out since the college is so close. The bad thing about that is that they don't respect you at your booth if you are in one just for food. They stand right in front of your table in groups talking and you have zero privacy and it's actually a bit suffocating. When they finally did all move for a moment, I could finally feel the air circulation. This was only around 5:30pm. Service- still awful Food- great Atmosphere- depends what you're looking for

My friends and I stopped by Thursday night for some drinks and bites to share. We ordered a mix of appetizers, including the cheesesteak egg rolls, breaded mozzarella half moons, housemade G's sauce wings, and the grilled cheese with fries. Everything came out hot and fresh. The wings were the standout, great flavor with G's sauce, which is like a peppery hot sauce. It's not super spicy, but it does have a slight kick. The grilled cheese could've used more cheese, but overall, everything hit the spot. Fun place for a casual night out! They seem to try their best to have a cider from PA on rotation. They have a vinyl night (as in LPs) and the place is super cozy on a corner where there is a lot of parking available. The most amazing thing to me was hearing the bartender casually talking to someone and mentioning that all of their beer was gluten-reduced. Okay, what's that all about? Asking for further details, they use an enzyme to effectively drop the gluten out of the beer. It can't be called gluten-free because it comes from a gluten source. However, the amount of gluten left in the beer seems to fall below the standards for gulten content making it effectively gluten-free. Yeah, no promises from me -- or them, I believe, on that matter. I just found it fascinating with seemingly zero downside to taste! Amazing!

Our first visit to Bonn was moderately busy, but the staff took the time to answer questions, was friendly and knowledgeable, and was very attentive. Our second visit was slammed busy with a line practically out the door. I honestly didn't notice a difference or drop in service. Absolute all-stars. Beer: this place is a goldmine of English pub styles with outstanding milds and bitters. We worked our way through the tap list and couldn't find a beer that wasn't great. Parking: located next to two large parking lots (pay). Well lit. Food: none. Fuel up before you go. Atmosphere: small, quaint, but comfortable and welcoming. On our first visit, another patron at the bar told us, "I envy you...I wish I could experience this place again for the first time." It's that kind of place. You just click with the vibe and it feels good. On both visits here, we didn't want to leave. Overall: I brewed my first beer 25 years ago. I'm a certified beer judge. I've lived all over the US and traveled extensively. Not everyone is going to instantly click with this place, or fall in love with their style. I did, and I have. Bonn Place is in my top 20 favorite breweries in the US. Give them a try.

She was welcoming, friendly, attentive, informative and professional. We were pleasantly surprised with brunch menu and specials. We ordered the half carafe of mimosas. Just the right mix of champagne with a tasty orange juice in flutes. I ordered a breakfast entree, which did not disappoint. A plump veggie omelette filled with fresh grilled mushrooms, peppers, and cheese with a side of breakfast potatoes-delish! My friend was equally as pleased with her eye catching and palate pleasing Cobb salad - perfectly sized portion of mix of fresh greens(good portion of romaine), fresh hard boiled egg, picture perfect avocado, delicious grilled, tasty chicken with a side of blue cheese dressing. We opted for booth seating in the bar area( plenty of natural sunlight). There is a large dining room and outdoor seating (we chose A/C yesterday, due to high humidity). They also have an extensive list of their brewed beers on tap, samplers and the like.... which they are known for. Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday brunch( available every Sunday). Definitely, will be going back.. again and again. Extensive menu!
