The exterior maintenance seems to be pretty decent, especially considering the area of town the business is located in. Staff and food are both fair at best. Business seems to be doing okay from all appearances. I really hope it is as it's nice to have Scandia here for folks who reside nearby.

My kids enjoyed the rides, and they also liked doing mini golf. The place wasn't too crowded. There wasn't too many attendants so we had to wait for one staff member to control about 3 rides at a time. I can imagine that is tiring for some of the kids working there. The arcade itself was fun, but when my kids wanted snacks, everything we wanted was unavailable (slushie, dip and dots, and hot dog). Not to mention, the soda was flat! The staff helping us was so nice we didn't sweat it. Really... we didn't need to spend money anyways lol. We brought water. What got me was that the park was split into two areas divided by a small parking lot. If it's your first time, start with the area with the mini golf . That's where you purchase points or wristbands for the days activities. All in all kids had an outlet for their endless energy. A time was had.

The food is good to some good classic food items. They have lockers you can rent etc. I have to give them 3 stars some parts of the slides you wait at or walking to certain areas the ground is really hot and I know it's a hot day, but people are burning their feet to. I feel like they can go around and spray it down with water or something you can wear shoes, but they make you take off your shoes and hold them on the slides. The double dare has no shade the ground was so hot kids were holding onto the side rail to keep their feet from burning. We will still come here enjoy the water slides.

Fool me twice! My family has now tried this miniature golf…read morecourse twice in the last year and it is unfortunately the worst mini golf course we have visited across many dozens. The short of it is: This golf course is cruel and certainly not fun. It is not shaded, so expect to burn. It is poorly designed, so expect to lose your ball within the first two or three holes. It's very very likely that one or more members of your family will permanently lose a ball to incredibly challenging terrain features, for which the official response from golfland is.. exit the course, go back inside, get another ball. This requires staff intervention, which means you have to wait in line again... Just like you did the first time to play. This overpriced course feels cruel and is disrespectful of your family's time and does not encourage a sense of fun. Please seek miniature golf elsewhere unless you are going for an extreme challenge. Not friendly for our group with ages between 10 and 80 Expect to pay twice as much for your time here as you would intentionally losing your golf balls at a place like topgolf.

The golf coarse had 18 holes and offered putput area, as well as a driving range. We usually go off of Florin, but this location was really nice . Staff member FOA was so helpful in guiding us to what was available and giving us tips about the facility. They offer a free small basket when you bring in your ID at the shop so that you can test out some clubs. I am not a golfer but I have been convinced to start because of this location. Haggin Oaks is a hidden gem!

If you wanted to rent them for an 18 whole game, you could rent them for double the price at $30. The clubs here were pretty good where they give you irons from 6 to 9 with a pitching wedge, gap wedge driver and two hybrids of course itself is very straight with a couple par 3's to par 5's. The grass here is maintained with not a lot of dirt or bumpy ground and a great place to practice using all your clubs. I was able to rent a golf cart too which was nice and new compared to other golf carts at other courses. Cons: the price here is not that bad ranging around $50 to 80 depending on how many holes you play. The location of the driving range and the pro shop compared to the first hole is kind of far but the good thing is that there's two different 18 whole courses here one that's beginner and another one that's advanced specifically I played the arcade course, which was the beginner course. Verdict: I highly recommend this place to practice using all your clubs where I had great maintained grass and greens and was in a good location with high-quality rental clubs and golf carts.

Carne Asada & Pork Belly Tacos both were tasty but the Pork Belly with the slaw Tacos were truly delectable. The salad they put out was fresh and crisp. I really wanted the burger but since we catered I am going to have to go back to try it out! Service: Above and Beyond. I spent 10 years in restaurant and another 9 in hospitality and the service at Birdies went beyond the mark of service. The one person that brought the vibe, the energy, the smile and made you feel like family...Loren. I kept telling him, I was inspired by him. Loren brought my 50th Celebration to the next level and truly made my friends, family and I feel very special and honored to be celebrating at Birdies. It is because of this experience, I will keep coming back. The bartenders were above and beyond as well. Big Mahalos to the sales team who assisted my wife and made everything easy for her. Ambiance: Clean and modern aesthetics. Half restaurant and bar. Half Golf simulator and outdoor patio. Golf simulator was awesome, my first time ever. Easy to operate, lots of fun games and the analytics were very informative of how bad of golfer I really am. Stop in for a drink, stop in for golf but stop in. Don't pass on this v

Birdies is such an awesome place…read more I found this place accidentally when I was walking from Old Sac after parking my car out there and I saw a sign for Happy Hour drinks for $8.00. Birdies is located about a half-block from the entrance to Sutter Health Park, near right field. So one game we got to about an hour early so we walked into Birdies to kill some time. I've been to Birdies probably 3 to 5 times and it's always been in this exact situation,Happy Hour before an A's game. It seems like they have a happy hour before most if not every game. When you go to Birdies they have both indoor and outside seating though I've only sat inside. They have three ways to order at Birdies, one can order at the bar or one can grab a table and order from a waiter or waitress or finally you can order from a QR code located at each table. Their Happy Hour features $8.00 items for both food and cocktail drinks though beers are priced at $6.00. Some of the things I've gotten over my visits during happy hour were as follows Blackberry Margaritas Guava Lime Spritz Urban Roots Lager Carne Asada Tacos Single Patty Smash Burger If I'm being honest, the food at Birdies is probably more towards average rather than excellent. The drinks though have all been made excellent and tasted great. This place to me is better suited for a spot to get great drinks before the game rather than great food. I would say the food here during Happy Hour is a better deal than anything you will find at the ballpark, that goes without saying. In closing, I can honestly say I'll continue coming to Birdies for pregame Happy Hour as often as possible. It's a really great spot to grab some drinks before the game!

Two weeks after my previous review…read more.. Early May 2025. A Saturday 10:30am tee time. I usually never play golf on weekends due to the usual overcrowding by too many beer swilling loud screaming hooligans (HEY BROs: golf is a zen sport not a WWE Monday night RAW match) and the too slow pace of play. But not this time! Me and my visiting pal teed off #1 exactly on time. There was a 4 some in front of us. And no one behind us, that we ever saw, for the entire game. Of course the forward foursome was slower than just the two of us, even though they were riding and we walked. If we were going to wait at the tee boxes for the ahead group we instead just hung back at the putting green and practiced rolling the ball from different spots. We averaged 7 minutes putting practice on every green. As we were not in a rush, the extra time on the golf course was appreciated. This scenario is a miracle for weekend golf. I assume the reason it was possible is: Cherry Island weekend walking green fee before 1:00pm is $45. After 1:01pm the green fee drops to $22. So all the old guys play later to save 50%. I'll gladly return to an occasional week end game at Cherry Island if the open course experience is the norm.
