They offer snacks/drinks, if that's something you need when you get there. We picked our club & ball & started the course. Upon entry, the setup was very cute, very western style. (I didn't take enough photos because we were having too much fun). Some of the holes had you spin a wheel & do what it landed on. Which was a great addition to where we even went back to spin it again for the course ahead. Overall, this whole experience was really fun & a cute idea for a date night or even to just go with friends & family. They do offer a birthday room, which we seen on the way out. Check this place out on your next visit to Old Sac!

It was indoors and underground and perfect for a rainy day group activity! We actually parked at DOCO for lunch and it was an easy walk to Old Sac. It just so happened to fall on May the 4th so there was Star Wars music the whole time and themed lights. Also some Cinco de Mayo decor along the course as well. We did the full 18 holes as three separate groups of 4, staggered, pencil scorecards. The theme is Gold Rush and the gal giving the intro spiel was really into it. You're starting from Missouri on your way to Sacramento, gathering supplies and surviving the journey with hopes of striking gold. Rules (no big swings, play thru) and putters/balls provided. Each part of the course had detailed murals and props to make it feel immersive. Examples include longhorn cows, snowy pine trees, wagon wheels, TNT dynamite, a saloon, a jail, even the river itself. Some holes had spinner wheels which gave bonuses or handicaps. Hole #1 had temporary obstacles (buckets) but that was the only one. Some holes straightforward but others challenging to complete in less than 3 strokes. Overall a fun activity. Good luck going for a hole in one! Par for each hole ranges from 1 to 5 depending on difficulty. Always neat to roam the historical Old Sac underground city sections. Since you are underground though, phone/data signal might be weak, keep in mind if you need to add more time to metered parking via an app or something. The rest of this week they have Cinco de Mayo, Revenge of the Sixth, and Mother's Day free photobooth session. They do have upgrades and different pricing for adults, seniors, kids. Snacks and drinks available for purchase too. Located next to Vampire Penguin, down the stairs.

We brought the kiddos here to burn off some energy from being cooped up in the rv all week…read more We started with mini golf and had a great time. The courses were challenging, but not too hard, and not too easy. Everything was kept up and clean. Looking around the course while we were playing I didn't notice any thing dilapidated or broken. It took us a little while to get through the course because of the kids, but it was very enjoyable amd we all had a great time. With it being early February and pretty cold out, alot of the outside attractions were closed. We came right after breakfast on a Sunday, so those could have been factors also. We decided to go inside and play in the arcade. Unfortunately alot of the games were out of order. There were some that we scanned our playcard and took the funds, but didn't start the game. We went to the counter and let them know and they kindly reloaded our cards. It happened a few times and honestly I think they were starting to think we were trying to scam them into recharging our cards. Either that, or we weren't swiping the card correctly. Neither of those were the case and we offered to show them which game it was each time, and offered to demonstrate with our card how it took the money and didn't start. They said that wasn't necessary, and a staff member would walk over with us so they could figure out what was going on and put a sign if necessary. The little photo booths are fun, but again, there are two and only one was working. All in all the facility was very clean and kept up. I noticed there were staff members constantly walking around picking up trash, and forgotten items from other guests. There were even a couple wiping down games and sanitizing them. I appreciate that cause well, you know...kids are gross including my own sometimes lol! Since we had just come from breakfast we didn't eat here, but the snack bar looked decent, expensive, but in a place like this that is to be expected. There were plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your snacks/food and if not being used they were clean. The restrooms were clean, there was a sewage like smell in the women's room, but it wasn't too overpowering. Not worth complaining about. All in all we had a good time here, spent quite a bit of money between the arcade and the mini golf, but the kids had fun so thats what matters most right?

I was locked into what turned out to be an extremely restrictive contract, with no reasonable or clear way to cancel. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company to stop charges for services that were no longer being used or rendered, billing continued. Customer service was difficult to reach and unresponsive, and there was no meaningful resolution offered despite repeated outreach. Being charged for services not received, with no practical cancellation option, feels unfair and misleading. I strongly recommend that anyone considering Golfland Sunsplash carefully review all contract terms and cancellation policies before signing. Based on my experience, once you're in, it's nearly impossible to get out--even when services are not being provided. Kyla was not at all helpful.

Sips and Bites w/ friends [Roseville CA]…read more The last time I was here was 12 years ago... whoa, that long ago! Time for an update. Thanks to the fearless four who made it to D&B and joined me and Jean for a last minute sips and bites at The Fountains in Roseville. The place was full and busy at peak dinner time. We planned to meet at 6:00p. As soon as our group was complete we hung out at the bar until a table opened up. There was a bit of a wait. All of us ordered drinks at the bar and some also ordered apps. This place is like the adult version of Chuck E Cheese and so with music, flat screens and conversations all around you can just imagine the noise level. Yes, we were all screaming at each other just trying to hear each other LoL! I ordered the Cheesy Spinach Dip and it was very good or maybe I was just hungry. They must've been shorthanded in staff because many empty tables were left uncleared for sometime. We could've gotten a table sooner. It was still fun hanging out with Erly and Arnel, Jackson, Joseph and Jean! Review #0166 updated

I went to a D&B when in So-Cal last week and still had a card with credits on it. So I decided to delay my gym time to hang out with some awesome Yelpers I haven't seen in a while and to use the credit. We all got here a little after 6 pm and put our name down to get a table, which had a bit of a wait time. While waiting, our group decided to go to the bar area for drinks and small bites. I opted to play a few games and machines and ended up winning a few items, which found homes with May and Jean. I ordered the No Kick blueberry mule, which is a mocktail with blueberry, premium Curtis sour, ginger beer and lime. It tasted great and I really enjoyed it. You taste the sourness and blueberry. I ended up eating some sirloin from their dine and play menu, quick tasted great. We ordered medium rare, but got more medium. It came with a side of onion straws and mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon bits. Overall, great hangout and I had fun hanging out with Jean, May, Erly, Arnel & Joseph. Thanks to Jean and May for planning this abruptly. Edit: experience with d&b itself was okay. Could've been a lot better.

First thing first,I like this golf course. This golf course has an exact purpose and it fills that…read morepurpose perfectly. This golf course is for beginners-In my lifetime I have probably taken 10 different golfers who had never played a round on a course or maybe even never even touched a golf club before.Thats what this place is here for and I love it. Recently my son wanted to finally play a real round of golf and though he has been to the driving range many times over the years,he has never actually played a round,so when he told me that,I knew exactly where we were headed-we went to Foothill Golf Course in Citrus Heights. We showed up around 930a on a random weekday and it was empty minus a player or 2 at the far reaches of the course. So we paid our green fees of $20 each and were told to go ahead and tee off whenever we were ready. That $20 gives u access to play 9 holes at this short par 3 course and if u want and there are openings you can pay another $7 to play another 9 holes. This is a true no frills golf course-they have an area you can practice putting but that's about it,no driving range,no chipping area, and it's perfect that way-it's just a course you go to when you want to introduce someone to golf in a judgment free spot, etiquette can be taught but people aren't hung up on it here,it's a place where the love of the game can be born and I'm happy it exists. So if you are ever looking for a spot to take a new golfer in your life or maybe you want to try golf for the 1st time,I would fully recommend this golf course to give our lovely sport a shot-u never know,u might love it.
