I didn't get a "sorry it took twice as long" or any kind of acknowledgment that I'd basically been lied to--twice. I will be sure to tell my co-workers & friends not to use this business if they value their time. Owner contacted me after I left the above review on their Facebook page. Owner lied to me (again) and said that the reason the patch took so long was because the plug was leaking air. I told him that IF that was true, it wouldn't matter if there's a leak or not because the plug should be removed before the patch is applied (my husband's a trained mechanic). The owner realized his lies wouldn't work & just said "sorry for your inconvenience".

They even found one issue that was simply a disconnected component, and fixed it on the spot without taking advantage of the situation. Many shops could have easily turned that into an unnecessary expensive "repair". The team was transparent, fair, and never made me feel like they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. He also took full responsibility and refunded my evacuation/recharge cost. He apologized and spoke to all involved to change how they handled my situation. I will give them another chance as they took accountability and made it right. Grayson Tire & Auto - so disappointed in their service and support. I had this shop repair my AC in September 2025 and experienced a strange issue where the AC would not turn on when the car was parked on hot days. I garage park my car so I rarely experienced the issue. With this hot weather recently the issue regularly appeared. I took it in as I had a two year warranty. After having the car for half a day they insisted nothing was wrong. They begrudgingly agreed to test again. After a few hours of the car parked in the hot sun, they saw the problem. They subsequently told me the Freon and PAC oil was way out of specs and I needed an evac and recharge. The problem is they were the only people to touch the AC and last to evac/recharge. When I explained this, they stated it was my fault as I must have had someone else work on it. I told them no one else but them worked on it. They said that is impossible. I pointed out how it could happen and they said even if they did make a mistake the Freon is not covered under warranty. When they originally fixed my AC they had issues and had to install a second compressor. Yet they stated they don't make mistakes. Customers vote with their wallet and they lost this customer of several years who has spent thousands on various services. Shame on you Grayson Tire & Automotive, do better. I will no longer recommend them on this platform.

If my car broke down in front of Japanese Motor Works I would push it to the nearest Honda…read moredealership to be repaired. Japanese Motor Works are incompetent and dishonest. They will tell you they have identified the problem with your car and how to solve it, yet after they have implemented their solution they will inform you it did not solve the problem but they will still charge you for it. You still need your car repaired so now you are trapped, next they will pacify you by assuring you this time they have definitely identified the problem and how to solve it, so you give them the go ahead and cross your fingers. A few days later you will receive another call informing you their new solution did not solve the problem either but they will still charge you for that too. They will drag this process out for weeks and squeeze you for 5 to 10 times the amount of their original quote. I am not the only person to have this experience with Japanese Motor Works, they are notorious for it, ask around and see for yourself. You would think they would notice the lack of repeat customers and see it as a sign they might not be doing good business. Charging people for something that does not work should be illegal. What a pathetic way to make a living.
