Dave Portnoy got this one wrong. It's the best on the Wildwood boardwalk - bar none. Also, great service as always.

I'm a bit torn. I love this Wildwood boardwalk pizza. Today I ordered and the older lady touched my slice with the same Hands she was touching the money. No gloves or washing. Hubby usually orders for me. I'll need to investigate and tell the manager. Not sure if it was a one time or regular thing. I'll Try Again

Greasiest pizza I've ever had. Not a fan.

Why people go nuts over Mack's Pizza is puzzling to me but to each their own I guess. The look of the slice is about the best thing I can say about this pizza. The slices are small and $3 each. The cheese is a mix of white cheddar and mozzarella. The crust is thin but not really crispy. You will need a lot of napkins to eat a slice because the oil actually pours off of it making a hand washing a must when you're done eating. The staff are also unfriendly. Oh, and the spices (garlic, crushed red, garlic, oregano) that are on the counters and tables are the Walmart brand "Great Value". Every few years I'll walk by and give them another shot and it seems nothing has changed. Hard pass for me.

We got the suggestion to come here from someone who docks their boat in the marina by the shore. I always like to get the opinion of people who actually live in the area to see where the good food is and the locals will go to for their food. We got there right when they were about to close. And I think that they closed early because when we were at the shore was after Labor Day so a lot of the shops didn't stay open as late as they usually did during high tourist season. But I was happy that they let us in, let us sit down and eat it, and let me use the bathroom. The bathroom was definitely key. They had some seats on the outside and a lot of seating on the inside. I will say that out of all of the pizza that we tried during our vacation this one really was number one for me. It's the crispy crispy crust that got me hooked. I like a nice crisp crust so your pizza doesn't get that soggy feel to it. I hate it when a slice droops. And I know you know what I mean by droopy pizza. I got a slice of sausage, my partner got pepperoni, and our daughter got cheese. All three of us devoured our slices. We were happy that we finally got to try it since the day before we got there too late. The pizza was super good and the people who were in the restaurant all had great things to say about their experiences. So try it out!

**CASH ONLY** Grabbed a couple slices at the window. Service was quick and affordable. The female server was sweet and swift. Can't go wrong with a greasy slice of plain (my favorite). My boyfriend whose never had jersey pizza likes the specialty white broccoli.

I Wish that I Could give Mack's Pizza infinity stars. They are My "Go To" Down the shore Pizza, But More Over...This Place revolves around Family! From the moment I was born, my Dad took me Here! Both locations are Fantastic and Consistent. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Mack's has the fresh and delicious flavors that satisfy any pizza cravings that anyone may have and toppings galore where they are overloaded on each slice. I wish we lived closer. During the spring and summer, We try to eat our fill of delicious pizza. #MacksForever

This location is really bad compared to the other one further north on the boardwalk. Doesn't seem like it's the same pizza at all actually.

Quick service and great food, by far the best pizza on the boardwalk. Remember to bring cash this is a cash only pizza place.

Best pizza in town. Greasy, gooey. And thin crispy crust. Nothing like home.Have been going there all of my life. Over 50 years. Delicious.

The dining room can get quite busy at times so just be prepared to wait sometimes, but it is totally worth the wait! The service is very good, all of the waitresses are very professional and they make sure to check in with you often, and the pizza comes out very fast! You are also allowed to bring in Curley's Fries into the restaurant to enjoy with your pizza! There is a counter located on the boardwalk that you can order at if you did not wait to eat in the dining room. We ordered slices this time when we went. We got the pepperoni and the cheese. Both of the slices tasted so delicious! We love the crispy crust on the bottom and it is not soggy at all! The portions of cheese, sauce, and pepperoni were perfect and the flavors blended so well together! We also got fountain sodas, but just know that they do not offer free refills! When you go, make sure you bring cash, since this restaurant is a cash only business. They do have an ATM if you forget, but there is a fee if you get cash out! Overall, if you are looking for the best pizza on the Wildwood Boardwalk, go check out Sam's! They offer very fast service and if you make it a beach day, the pizza will definitely hit after a long day on the beach!

However, it was not much better inside. It was quite warm. They started us with some bread and garlic infused oil. The bread was soft and the oil was very good and flavorful. We ordered the 'Bruschetta' which was VERY definitely my highlight. I wish it had more cheese on it, but the tomatoes were super fresh and the balsamic was delicious. For our entrees, my husband got the 'Diavolo' pizza which was homemade tomato sauce, hot soppressata, homemade mozzarella, chopped garlic, oregano & parmesan cheese. He loved it. He said the bread was soft and it was super cheesy. I did not try it, nor did I order pizza because I just had some a few days ago. I ordered the 'Three Mushroom Pasta' which was shiitaki, cremini & portobello mushrooms sautéed with garlic butter & marsala wine sauce topped with parmesan cheese served over pappardelle pasta. The mushrooms were delicious. However, the pasta itself was rather bland. I will say the portion was BIG and I definitely had left overs. The staff was quick and friendly. I probably would not come back again but it was nice to try, and I'm sure the pizza was better than boardwalk pizza. I would give this a 3.5, but since I can't do halfs.. 3 it is.

For today's order, I opted for the pizza of the month special and it certainly did not disappoint and was made with Pepperoni whipped ricotta basil and mikes hot honey. Never again! I…read moreshould have been tipped off to what fortune awaited us when there was not one other customer in the place at twelve noon, on a Saturday, in the summer. Ordered a dozen garlic Parmesan wings, two personal "pizzas", one regular & the other white. Let's start with the wings. Absolutely no flavor, which will be a recurring theme. All they did was sprinkle Parmesan cheese on the wings. To be fair, they were crispy, but again, the breading tasted like cooking oil. Drowning the wing in ranch dressing was the only way to make it palatable. Twenty five minutes later the "pizzas" arrived. The white pie was barely edible. Literally just burnt mozzarella cheese on a thin, hard, favor-less crust. Maybe the garlic & spice delivery truck didn't come this week? Their regular pie definitely was an improvement over the white, but nothing to write home about. No joke, you can make a better tasting pizza at home using only three items from Costco...stone flat bread, mozzarella cheese, & Mama Rao's sauce. I will acknowledge that the place was clean & the young lady working the counter was attentive. They also do have free refills on fountain drinks, so there's that. Overall, the fact that this place is a franchise boggles my mind. Like, how to did someone get hoodwinked into thinking this was a wise long term investment opportunity? I wish this place luck, but let's be honest, it won't be here the next time I am in Wildwood.
