However, I discovered a discrepancy for the mileage of one of the rebuilt vehicles being sold compared to that reported on the salvage website. No one was hounding me down when I arrived and walked the entire lot before going in. There was absolutely no pressure! I entered after looking at everything and the sales associate offered me the keys to drive the vehicle I had initially emailed about. I took it for a nice drive in the area, I returned and told the sales associate my intention to purchase the next day as I was headed away for an appointment. Next morning, I pulled up and the vehicle was washed up again and everything had been prepped for my arrival. It was perfect!!!! The porter was even kind enough to put on the specialized bling license plate that my teen had ordered online. Fantastic dealership that will go above and beyond to ensure the vehicle is in good shape and have no issues. I purchased a Truck from this company over 9 months ago. Upon immediate inspection the vehicle had a small sign of smoke emitting from the engine bag which naturally raised a lot of concern. I thought this would be the end of my search here but after bringing it to the attention of the owner he immediately told us to head to a shop with the truck and have them give us their opinion. The mechanic told us it was likely a small gasket issue and then we asked this mechanic if he was familiar with this dealership and he proceeded to share that the owner takes care of any issues that comes up with the vehicles sold from here. So, we continued on back and the owner said he would take care of the issue and to come back. The issue was fixed and we continued with the sale, three weeks later the same issue came up. I immediately thought this was going to be an enormous headache and I would have to come out of pocket for this. However, when I called the dealership they asked no further questions and accepted it and told me I would have it back in a week. They returned the vehicle to me with a new turbo and the issue was fixed with no charge. Nine months later I can say that they are extremely honest and go above and beyond to ensure they do the right thing! read more

Went to check out a car for my wife. The moment we pulled up, I had a bad feeling. It looks like it's run out of someone's house that isn't well maintained. There's no salesperson to greet us anywhere in sight. We walk into the office and a salesperson is on the phone. He doesn't acknowledge us at all, not even a "just a moment" finger. When he finally gets off the phone, he doesn't acknowledge us; he acknowledges ME. Not "hi, folks", or "hey there, guys"; nope, he looks right at me and addresses me, and I have to indicate twice that it's my wife who is in the market, and he doesn't look thrilled about dealing with a woman. She'd seen a car online listed for $15K. When they bring it around to test drive, we notice the sticker in the window is $18K. Our son notices a smell in the car. When we get back from our test drive, the salesman is in plain sight, but walks away from us, and now the smell is prominent, even outside the car; it's sticky sweet, so either transmission fluid or antifreeze. We pop the hood and the smell is overwhelming. We wait and wait and nobody comes to check on us. The wife goes in and the salesperson is on the phone, again not acknowledging her, and the receptionist is being rude to whoever she's talking to. So, inattentive sales staff that seem more annoyed you're there than eager to make a sale, plus seedy, gravel lot with gigantic puddles operating out of a ramshackle cottage, falsely advertising lower prices online, and selling cars with obvious mechanical defects. We left, we won't be back, and I recommend you don't waste your time. read more

No negotiations period - Kathy was my salesperson and she was professional, courteous, respectful and handled my purchase. We have had the car for about 9 months and the car runs excellent. Just bought an Equinox from here not too long ago and truly was impressed with the service and quality of this business. Went there not really knowing what I was going to get, but was able to turn in my old vehicle and walk out with way more than I expected. I was always hesitant to purchase a "salvage" vehicle until a relative in Michigan (we live in WI) told us about his experience purchasing from Macomb. We found a 2018 Ford Escape we liked on the website, and my relative test drove it for us. Macomb worked with us to get the vehicle to us in WI. We quickly discovered an issue with the SYNC system not working correctly syncing to our phones. We reached out to Adam, who was more than willing to repair it if we brought it back to Macomb. We explained that we didn't want to drive 5 hours for the repair and he explained that they don't want to pay high labor costs for us to have it fixed in WI when they can repair it themselves....which we completely understand. He offered to send a check to help offset the cost of the repair, which we thought was a fair agreement for both parties. The check arrived quickly, and it was for more than we agreed upon!
