Came in to replace a work phone that was stolen and they couldn't help me because my phone was not connecting to their Wi-Fi. "Do you know why our Wi-Fi isn't working?". Ma'am, why tf would I know that? I don't work here??? Their suggestion was for me to find a Wi-Fi somewhere and set up my phone and then come back to them so that they can activate the eSIM. I was trying to suggest an alternative setup route by utilizing my personal phone to set up the phone so that we can access the phones information, and the young staffer I was working with seemed totally lost and told me to go home and set up my phone. So simply because you are not making any money and not selling a product, you are going to treat customers like absolute garbage? Also, why are the employees so incompetent and unable to find an alternative troubleshooting route to setting up a phone line that has already been an existence for years ? I know this isn't the first time they set up a replacement for a stolen phone on the basis that it happens everywhere in LA. I've been with t-mobile for 20 years and never have I met staff so incompetent and clearly over being at their job.

The sales rep in this store (can't remember his name but recall he's a strange looking fellow with a unibrow, some weird teeth, and could really benefit from cardio; this is to say that he rocks the "angry incel" look) added a charge to my account (Protect Advantage) that I NEVER authorized. He also placed some weird block on my account that has confounded subsequent AT&T reps. To make things worse, I call AT&T customer service to fix, and they tell me they will remove the charge "going forward". NO. I have to argue with them to remove a charge entirely that I never authorized or even discussed. Fortunately they quickly folded and agreed to remove the charge entirely, because fraud, duhhh. What an awful company. Go somewhere else...
