Ray on a normal day goes far above and beyond even what those so-called "genius" bar employees boast about fixing during their best/most creative resume-writing endeavors, so imagine how he fantastic, professional and responsible he is when a situation REALLY calls for a miracle! I'll give the vivid example: a 2009 Macbook antique machine I was surprised worked as long as it did, but it gave out a couple weeks ago due to natural wear and tear. Yet I was on an editing project's deadline, and needed to connect the 743 parts of my brain so that the 742 parts of my Adobe Premiere "missing media timeline," continue to function and come together, somehow. Despite the coronavius-and-Trump induced decline of American civil society in 2020 back into the medieval times of masked rioters and rogues (and I'm not talking about the Cahuenga crowd on a regular Thursday), and all the drama and slow-down in business it has wrought, Ray found me quite an upgrade: from a refurbished El Capitan on that 2009 machine, he scored me the Mac OS 10.13 High Sierra on a 13 inch 2015-2016 machine that the high society editing snobs of the Adobe world would highly approve of, considering that it is the minimum requirement to run that software (I myself don't know how I was pulling it off on that decade-old antique, earlier haha). Ray had me out the door and rolling back onto work on the project RECOVERING ALL MY INSANE AMOUNTS OF DATA in less than a week, and for the new-used computer, he ever threw in a free protective case! Please be careful with what you purchase at this place. I had to exchange the first computer they gave me because the hardware was faulty. This second computer has been a totally exciting experience... I was sold a 2TB computer; it turns out it's only 512GB. The speakers are now blown, the bluetooth doesn't work, the charger doesn't charge. Oh! and did I mention the software was corrupted?! I had a really good experience working with Pro-LA, Ray & Chris. I went in and got a free assessment of my Mac book air. Unfortunately it had liquid damage, which they opened up and showed me. I even took photos. They gave me an option to fix it, and told me realistically if it was worth it for my Mac book air. Ultimately I felt it wasn't worth it to try and fix it, more worth it to just buy a new one. Ray also told me they may be interested in buying my old Mac Book Air for parts. But I liked the service so much, I went back for another service. I had them take all my files off of my damaged Mac book air and put it into an external hard drive.
