This company is awesome !! My dryer had been taking forever to dry clothes and suddenly developed a strong odor of smoke. I called Mac on a Wednesday evening and he was at my house the next morning at 10 am. They walked me through all the steps they take to bring the performance of your appliances back to peak levels and for the price you cannot beat what they do for you. After being in my home for a few years we had always noticed our dryer not working to its potential. So we called macvac. The rep. Jordy showed up exactly on time accessed the situation and wen to work . He was super efficient and super knowledgeable. He answered all my silly questions and even explained the ins and out of how the dryer worked. ( honestly I did t know). Jordy not only unplugged my severely clogged vent. He also cleaned and sanitized my washer and dryer. Hooked my exhaust hose on properly. And made sure everything was well. He explained the warranty, and gave me a couple pointers. My dryer has not being drying my clothes the first time around in a while so we finally decided to look for a vent cleaning service to we looked and yelp and saw MacVac had great reviews so I called and schedule an appointment. The came and service my dryer and vents and it turned out my dryer wasn't that far off from catching fire my vent were so clogged that it clogged up their vacuum 3 times. I just did my first load of laundry and my clothes dried up on the first cycle where as before it would take 2-4 times for my clothes to dry. I am extremely satisfied with their service they even cleaned my laundry room and left me a calendar so I know when to call for the next service. I 100% recommend MacVac!! read more

The owner, Mac, was very responsive to my call and questions before and after service. His professional technician, Jordy, was likewise responsive to my questions as being a teacher I had a lot of questions that will enable me to better offer ideas and future conversations with my students and neighbors about the value of having duct cleaning. My previous dryer was malfunctioning and after this service I learned that I was putting myself and my family at danger of a house fire had I not done this service. I know this is true as yesterday I bought a new dryer and the electronic panel stated there was a danger happening. Mac provided me with a very reasonable extra fee Sunday service call and Jordy did the work. My dryer stopped working and we realized the vent was clogged. I called and they got back to me within the hour. Showed up the next day on time and cleared out the vent. Showed me the lint from the clogged vent. Jordy noticed a few vents that needed resealing and took photos to show me. He was able to reseal them at a great price and quickly. Joey at MacVac did a thorough job of cleaning out the dryer vent and lint section. The man even checked the gas connectors and made sure everything was in tip top shape. MavVac cleaned our dryer vent which was a fire hazard waiting to happen. Unlike the chimney sweeps that we've used in the past, he not only cleaned the vent line from inside the laundry room, but he climbed up on our roof and thoroughly cleaned the line from above. He took apart the dryer itself and gave it a good cleaning as well as cleaned the entire laundry room floor when he was done! There was no mess - the room was actually cleaner than when he arrived! He was extremely professional, polite and thorough. The process took almost 2 hours and I feel was worth a lot more than he charged. My clothes are drying in record time now and my laundry room, which used to feel like a sauna whenever I dried clothes, now is cool as can be. I expect I will have a much lower PG&E bill next month, due to much less electricity being needed to dry clothes as well as no A/C being needed to cool down the laundry room! So if your clothes are taking too long to dry, I highly recommend MacVac! read more
