Replaced an ice maker. No issues until the first batch of ice came out with what appears to be algae in the ice. Called David and asked to see the receipt for the new ice maker to confirm it was purchased when I ordered it. He refused. Told me it was lettuce from my kitchen and stated it is not company policy to share the invoice information with the customer. Not a great business experience. read more

Washer started having issues recently, it would stop mid wash and give me an error. I called Strong Arm and they were able to get me on the schedule the next day. Gave them the error and they showed up with all the knowledge and the parts, they had to replace some parts inside the washer itself. It took them less than 20 minutes and everything has worked perfectly since, they were friendly and didn't mind me watching the work to see how it all went together. Our built-in double oven would turn off while warming with an error code of 96. David was amazing, came and diagnosed a bad cooling fan and sensor. We paid $120 for a service call that ended in declining an additional $130 for maintenance. After being shown lint that was built up, the dryer was put back together WITH the lint still in and a screw left on the ground. A simple swipe of the trap, that is now screwed back into the dryer (with a missing screw) would have been a courtesy for the crazy high price of just diagnosing the issue. Maybe they could have asked if I wanted to quickly remove the lint myself since the price didn't cover removal of lint. We were not given that courtesy. Less than 15 minutes spent looking into possible problems and paid $120. Strong arm is right! read more

Can not say enough about this company. Called for a dishwasher leak found a bad garbage disposal. When we still had a leak they sent David back out free of charge to investigate problem. I called Strong Arm to get someone out ASAP for my washer leaking and I desperately needed to do laundry for an upcoming trip and they had someone at the house within 2 hours. It was a bit complicated to diagnose the problem since the washer wasn't leaking all the time, but thankfully David was able to find the problem and quote us on repairs. The pricing seemed a little high to me, but I am also not knowledgeable on appliance repair costs, so we went ahead and proceeded with the repair and it was done pretty quick thankfully. Bait and switch tactics. Will tell you minimum charge is $99, then when onsite tell you it is $189. A MINIMUM charge of $189. 2 minutes or an hour, doesn't matter. If you turn down the service at this point, they still demand $99 for doing nothing. If that's the price, it should be stated upfront before the technician is dispatched. This company actually told me, they don't disclose their minimum charge over the phone. Yes, now I see why. read more
