We visited Macys today as we strolled through the Cherry Creek Mall. Our relative found a cute bracelet that he liked. When we asked Regina for support to see if he could try it on, she seemed resistant at first saying "she'd have to take it out the box". When I told her he was trying it on to see if it fits she expressed that "she knew that". Eventually she cheered up once she noticed we purchased the bracelet and was very warm ‍. Not sure why she was originally not pleasant but I hope her day cheers up! Overall, the sales were good and we saved money on a few items. read more

This store is horrendous to its employees and its customers. I walked into the store and was looking around for someone only to find not a single one try to help me and just hit me up for a Macys card. I was bombarded about the card so much by so many people, but not a single one approached me with any offer of help and when I DID find someone who jus looked away and acted like i was bothering them, then i was passed around to about three different people, then at the counter I was treated to an unpleasant display of how much an employee didn't like to work there! It was so obvious the employees looked over worked or just lazy and complained about being underpaid and pesky about the credit card thats at an atrocious APR % I dont know what happened to macys but im curious if theyre going completely out of business soon because they lost MY business read more

I have washed this quilt once, and it has been in use less than a month. It is already fraying (see picture). Because I was beyond the 30 day return policy I have no options. Horrible quality and horrible customer service online. Shop anywhere else, but not here. read more

Ok, so I have a lot of good to say about this Macys location. I'll start with the bad and get it out of the way. This store needs some serious organization. There are not enough employees here. The dressing rooms need an update as well as the bathroom. They also need to be more organized. This Macys is massive, with a third floor holding a Macy's backstage. For business attire at an affordable price, you cannot beat Macy's. I honestly find more clothes for my husband at the Dillard's men's department, but the women's department is always better at Macy's. They have great Ralph Lauren & Calvin Klein sections. The backstage is good for all, but it's setup is like a TJ Maxx. You never know what you could find. Overall you can find some great things in here but the store needs more employees and better organization. read more

I came here because I'm a Macy's guy and I really couldn't find any sweaters in San Diego that I liked. So my homegirl and I came here and sure enough I found a sweater that I liked. My homegirl bought a couple items at the make up place I think it was Mac. The employee at Mac was very helpful while we were shopping and even offered us bottled water. Very nice experience here. I came in looking for summer sandals on the last day of August. I was pleased to find a pair of BOC ones discounted about 60%. The color was a bit orange (not black or brown that I would normally buy) but they were super comfortable and perfect for wearing with dresses for work or going out. The staff person in women's shoes that day was very helpful and helped me with sizing and fit. Checkout was quick and easy. It can sometimes be hard to find salespeople in Macy's stores, but my experience at this one was very positive. I went in to take advantage of some sales happening. Now, this is Macy's, where the experience is supposed to be 5 stars. Add to it that is in the premium shopping center, Cherry Creek. I've visited this place also once two weeks before and the impression was the same. Poor. I've visited different locations of Macy's through the years, Park Meadows, North Stapleton, Aurora Town Center. Always positive. These two times at Cherry Creek mall, different though. No people available for questions of help. Also merchandise in total disarray. Not appealing to the eye Man shirts placed at the bottom of shelves, hard to see the prices and sizes. I do understand that there is some remodeling happening right now, but still, there is no excuse for the sloppy array of merchandise. Went to Macys in Cherry Creek and had a vastly different experience than the park meadow travesty. The Macy in cherry creek was kind and inviting. The store was impeccably clean and organized. The (lovely Indian women) cologne specialist asked us different questions and narrowed down what we wanted. We also wondered towards to makeup section and I was greeted so kindly. The watch expert was helpful and friendly. I believe the manager was named Craig and was seen walking around the floor asking his associates how he can help. Overall this Macys is ran better than most. read more

Do you ever wonder why Macy's is going broke? Why they can't keep their doors open and continue to complain about lack of sales. Today at the park meadows Macy's I stood in front of the watch department for 25 minutes waiting to purchase a bowl of a watch. Went over to the jewelry counter where the one gal was busy with another client and said we don't have anybody else to help . I watched the Sunglass Hut girl play grab a** with her boyfriend for 25 minutes and I watched a floor manager mess around with computers and drawers in the same time frame. Ended up walking out without the purchase and unfortunately I'm going to call it for now as I don't think I will ever purchase from Macy's again. This is one of my favorite Macy's in the Denver area. Whenever I'm at the Cherry Creek mall, I love to come in here and check out what deals are going on. I have noticed this Macy's has a lot more items to choose from than the one in Stapleton. The clearance section here is always filled with awesome T-shirt's and other designer clothes. I have shopped here for years and now it's just sad. No way to get help..Im sure it's hard but then people are rude. It's so stressful-I don't want to return. I found what I needed for less on Amazon. I miss the mall and don't know what goes on behind the scenes but the experience is all around awful. OK so this pay to park thing sucks, but in all fairness it was put in place by the shopping center and not Macy's. They should offer validation though. Customer service in this location is poor, to say the least. I've often had to hunt down someone for assistance or to pay. Yesterday I waited in line for 20 minutes while the cashier slowly rang up a large order in front of me, stopping between each item to chat with the women. There were two other associates nearby sorting out clothes on racks and not one of them came over to assist with the growing line. The fitting rooms are always a disaster, full of clothing left behind. No one seems to go in to clear them out until the end of the shift. Clothing selection has declined recently. They used to offer more and better quality. Now I prefer to order online and return if needed. It's inconvenient, but easier to find what I need. At this point I will start driving a further and shop at the Park Meadows store. read more

The most unreal experience I've ever had here. Went in to exchange a pair of pants (had no problem doing it before) that had been ripped at the seam. Spent almost 20 minutes trying to get help from someone who could only to be told it couldn't be done. The manager said he couldn't do it because they were ripped, only to follow up that statement with "you know how many ripped pants you've tried to return before?" Yeah dude, 1 pair. 1 PAIR. So it's obvious that he refused to do it not because it was company policy but because he labeled me as a scammer. Absolutely ridiculous how they treat customers. I grew up absolutely loving Macy's, and I still love their clothing variety. But, I'm very glad that my first experience with the store wasn't at this location. The staff here really seem to hate their job. But hey, that's a position I completely understand. But, if you ignored me forever, then completely forgot about me when I was trying to buy a few pairs of shoes, don't chase after me yelling when I head to the register. You don't deserve a commission, seeing as how I sat there waiting for you for over 20 minutes. Second, I could roam through the whole cosmetics section without getting so much as a bored look. Around Dec. 22nd of 2022, I bought a box of Lancome genifique masks at Macy's Cherry Creek Mall. On the box, it says there are 4 masks inside. Last night when I opened the box, I found out the box had been opened and only 3 masks were in the box. A box of masks is $55 and 1 mask is missing. This is ridiculous. read more

We purchased a couch and coffee table in January. Told us it would be ready in February. It is now April. They basically sold us something they didn't have- and had no idea when it would be in stock. As of yesterday they told us maybe the 12th it will be in the warehouse but don't expect a call until the 28th. The part that really is aggravating is no one keeps you updated about delays you have to call and see the status. If you are looking to have furniture in your home go elsewhere. I actually enjoyed this location because they have calmer sales associates who don't have a negative attitude. They all have patience, even with the most challenging customers like me. There is a elevator that is easy to navigate between the floors and that makes me very happy. No need to hunt for the escalators!! The men's section is still located on the first floor and the women's are always on the second floor. We came in during their bridal dresses season. My cousin and I were soooo tempted to try some on. I was in love with the club wear. Such beautiful pearls and diamond patterns on the dresses. There was hardly any bathing suits that I liked, but overall found a decent dressing room. There wasn't any garbage or clothing left. It was so much fun. read more

I love going to Macy's in Cherry Creek Mall because it has literally everything. unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the managers. I wanted to go to the 3rd floor and the only way to get there is by the elevator in store or by going outside to the parking garage and taking the elevator to level 5 and then walk back to the store. Anyway, I was with a stroller and Macy's elevator was out of service so I asked a retail associate if that was the only elevator they had. She was super nice and told me yes, but the employees used another elevator and told me she was going to ask the manager if she could take me on that one because I had a Stroller. The manager said no through the phone. Then she told me she was going to ask another manager. The guy (manager) was actually taking the stairs and when she asked him, he literally didn't even let her finish the question when he rolled his eyes up and said "ehhh I have a meeting at 2 PM." .... It was 1:30 pm when that happened and I don't think it take 30 minutes to go on an elevator! He was extremely rude to her and to me because I was next to her when she asked. He should have been a little bit more polite other than rolling his eyes and not letting the lady finish the question. Unfortunately I did not get his name, but Macy's should really evaluate the managers. read more

This Macy's is decent. I know what you're saying. A Macy's is a Macy's right? Can they really be all that different? Yes, they can. This Macy's definitely has that Cherry Creek charm, but is kind of like Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus's low rent cousin. Suitable quality and prices, with friendly staff. The selection is typical, with some higher end designers available than some other stores. The purse selection usually has a lot of different brands and designers to choose from (with a lot of items in the clearance bin). Stay away from the disaster zone that is known as the shoe departments. When the sales racks, it is utter chaos. I have always had excellent service (as excellent as department store service can be). I haven't had any troubles finding someone to help me out when I need it (although, some registers seem to never have anyone guarding it. During non-holiday times, this is to be expected as the associates need to do other things, like organizing/zoning and cleaning out fitting rooms. So this isn't a big deal to me, but I could see how it could be annoying to others. Sorry for calling you low, Cherry Creek Macy's. But deep down, isn't true? read more

If I could give a zero I would. I bought a $400 jacket from this place, and when I followed the washing instructions it completely ruined the jacket. Macy's says they can't return it if it's more than 180 days and also "they don't put the washing instructions on the jackets". Well you sell them, so you sure as hell should stand behind it! If I could give less stars I would. I just went to Macy's to return an item that I purchased online. I had to go to 3 different registers to find someone to even help me. Then, the sales representative accused me of trying to return an item I'd worn (which I had in my possession less than 24 hours, and it still had all of the tags on it and I had a receipt). She refused to look up the order number and treated me like a thief. Did she want me to put it on right there in the middle of the store to prove it didn't fit???? Macy's is pissing me off today. This in no way reflects on the ladies I've spoken to on the phone, because they've been very apologetic and nice... hence these two stars are for THEM. But Macy's THE STORE is beyond irksome. My request was simple: One pair of red women's FitFlops, size 5 (they run REALLY large, so the FitFlop 5 is closer to a real-life size 6). Nothing crazy! Not too much to ask! Well, Macy's doesn't stock the FitFlop in a size 5... at least not in their stores. They have them on their website, yes. But not in ANY of their Denver-area stores... I know this, because I called them all. Any other store would offer to special-order them from the company and have them sent to my nearest store location, right? You'd think! But Macy's "doesn't do that." Instead, they want me to order them online and pay an extra $10 to have them shipped. An extra $10 that "can't be waived," no less! So let me get this straight... your company carries the product I need, but not in a store near me. And you can't order it for me. And I have to pay an extra $10 to get it from your website. And you don't have any sort of promotional code to waive that extra $10 charge. Awesome. Sweet. No... that's just great, really. The lady on the phone (and really, she WAS nice about it...) asked if I would be putting this purchase (WHAT purchase!?! I'm still without FitFlops so far!) on a Macy's Card. I told them no, I don't have-- or need-- a Macy's Card. "That's too bad," she said, "because our manager does triple backflips for customers who use their Macy's Card." Somehow that made me feel even worse about the whole thing. Like, if I'm just your average, cash-paying joe off the street, I don't qualify for "triple backflips?" Not cool. She still suggested I call the manager directly to see if he might be able to help me out. Maybe I will. Or maybe I'll just suck it up and pay the extra $10... ...that is, if I can EVER get onto their website. It's been giving me a "SORRY! WE'RE TOO BUSY TO DEAL WITH NEW CUSTOMERS RIGHT NOW... Wow while waiting in line for my free goodies from the cosmetic class action lawsuit I encountered the most unpleasant person directing the people to the appropriate line...let me explain briefly. Biaach associate "Please pick the product you want from the list before you get in the line." Me "Have you smelled any of the perfumes?" Biaach associate "You can smell them all at the perfume counters and then get back in line." Doesn't even look at me when saying this. Me "No, just curious what you think of the Givenchy perfume?" Still smiling. Biaach associate "It's a personal preference. Next." Me...looking at Shanette with my WTF is up her butt look. Proceed to get my Givenchy perfume which isn't half bad, especially for free. Hours later still pondering why I couldn't come up with and give her a sassy reply. To biaach associate: Honey I know working retail sometimes really blows. I know I did it for many years. But you will enjoy what you do so much more if you aren't a total bitch to everyone you encounter. If that isn't helpful I suggest therapy and a different job. It's a department store with various departments for all of your needs. or as much as they can store, I suppose. I typically shop at Macy's for clothes for myself and occasionally for my stepson and for the man. In recent months, I've found a brand, I N C Designs, that I really love and fits me well. I keep coming back and I've been very pleased. There are tons of clothes in the women's department and I just gravitate to various designers and try everything on in the fitting room and keep what I like. There are other departments to wander around in and shop, but clothing seems to be where I go to the most. Basically it's a department store. There might be something in one or more departments for you to browse through. I happen to prefer the selection at Cherry Creek as it is larger and nicer than Aurora and Park Meadows is a bit out of my way from my house. read more

I bought a dress at this Macy's, they forgot to take the security tag off. That wasn't my basis for the one star though. Mistakes happen. When I had to make a second trip into the mall to have it removed, I explained what happened. I no longer had my receipt but I did have the macy's proof of purchase. (a sticker they place on the tag that is to be used as a gift receipt for returns). The girl working accused me of stealing the dress! She finally reluctantly took the security tag off. After that I asked her for a dress bag so that I could finish the rest of my errands in the mall without having to carry the dress unprotected. I was unaware that these bags were made out of gold and diamonds. She reluctantly gave me a bag but you would have thought I had asked her to give me a million dollars. She made a huge production out of giving me bag for something that I probably never even paid for in the first place. She made it clear that she still thought I stole the $30 dress and that she didn't think I needed or deserved a bag. read more

I went there to return a jacket my daughter got for Christmas from a relative because it didn't fit her. Although I didn't have a gift receipt I had all the tags on it and was told I could receive store credit for it at least. I had an employee take me up to third floor using the freight elevator because their elevator was out of service and I had my baby and stroller with me. When I went to the counter on the third floor in the kids department an elderly Indian woman who worked there was extremely rude and told me there was nothing she could do for me since I didn't have the receipt. I knew this was untrue as a previous employee had just told me it would be no issue. She also was extremely rude to me when I asked her if she was sure and when I said what if I came back with the relative and we showed the card which it was purchased on and she still said no and continued to be so rude stating I'm out of luck. Then When I asked her to call an employee to escort me back down the freight elevator she told me no and that she couldn't help me and that no one could help me as everyone is busy (she didn't even call and ask she just immediately turned down helping me). She shouldn't be employeed as her customer service is severely lacking. I found another employee who was extremely helpful, he was a younger gentleman who escorted me down the elevator and also took me to a register to give me store credit for the baby item and informed me she was wrong about saying there was nothing she could do. read more

My fiance and I applied for our registery here. First off the sales associates are the worst. The first employee I went up to ignored us after we asked politely for help. It took us asking three other sales associates how to get a registery started. We finally found an employee working a register and we were led to a kiosk and told to "go for it". It took awhile to download the app, make a username/ password and get started scanning everything. We were looking forward to having this being a fun experience. If you have to do a registry avoid Macy's at all cost. Especially this one. Should have gone to Bed, Bath and Beyond. read more

My fiance and I did one of our wedding registries here. They carry most everything you need and more of the stuff you might need and even more of the stuff you don't need but since it's a registry, we needed it. After registering at 2 other locations, Macy's filled in the gaps for bedding and bathroom towels. We registered for almost the same cooking category items at Crate & Barrel, so we knocked that out quick. Macy's staff is very very helpful, or very very bored. I couldn't tell myself, but they really were willing to doing anything to help. For myself, I'd been at this for 6 hours at other places and really just wanted to get in and get out. They have a great program that the bride and groom get to keep 20% of the total in reward points purchased off your registery, a type of store credit. We will see how that really ends up working in the end. read more

I ordered my bedroom set in March 2018 to have delivered to my house in June. Come delivery day I got everything I ordered, EXCEPT for my bedroom set. I immediately called customer service, which they advised me the bedroom set I ordered and paid for was on back order... WHAT THE HECK??? So I had to pick a new bedset to be delivered two weeks later, on top of that I had to pay a new delivery free!!! Ridicoulus! 24hrs prior to the new bed being delivered, I contacted customer service to get the time of the delivery, they advised me my delivery was canceled, and they did not know a reason of the cancelation.... The only thing they could do tell me was "we can have your bed delivered a week from today." TOTALLY NOT ACCEPTABLE! read more
