If I could give a 0 I would. I bought a couch set and purchased the stain removal warranty. I have tried 3 times to process a claim with a normal pictures of a stain. I was denied again because it said the cause of stain is unknown. I also called the store and NO ONE could help me. The warranty is a scam and it was a few hundred dollars. Delivered my bedroom furniture without the hardware to assemble it. For some reason, they decided to fed-ex the hardware to my apartment rather than just send it with the people who were supposed to come back to assemble it. The hardware never arrived. The foot of the bed was also delivered with damage. It's been over two weeks and I'm still waiting for the hardware and a replacement for the damaged part. Don't shop here. Horrible experience and surly delivery people who act like they're doing you a favor even though I paid $200 for delivery and assembly. read more

ordered furniture in june and was told all but a couple charis would be in when we moved august 1st then at first delivery an ottoman and two stools showed up. its almost october and still do not have all furniture and the date keeps changing and no one is keeping me in the loop on top of it all, i am still getting my card charged with no authorization which is thousands over my quote no one to help as i am getting random charges would never shop here again! service is awful read more

My husband and I just returned home from buying a couch at the Britton Parkway Macy's Furniture Store. We had stopped by last weekend and talked to Shaun (Shawn) who was great at showing us the different couches available for purchase. He was not a pressure-salesman! He even showed me dining rooms sets when I mentioned that I was looking for one. Today we went back and bought, with Shawn's help, the couch that was the best deal and that we liked the best. Recent horrendous experience with this store. Ordered an all brown leather sectional first week of October. Was supposed to be delivered October 26th. Delivery date gets pushed back to the week of Christmas. Annoying, but ok. Gets delivered. All of the couch is correct, except the left arm piece on the end gets delivered white and the rest brown. Also our console piece was completely not with the order at all, which had to be delivered at a later date. Called them, they said the earliest they could get us a replacement for the end piece was March. Fast forward to today, end of APRIL. End piece gets delivered. It's brown.. but now it's the WRONG ARM. Doesn't even connect to the sectional because it's the wrong piece altogether. Nothing like spending good money on a couch that is a giant eye sore. I called and spoke to a manager today. A reoccurring trend with this store is they don't give a shit about your business! It makes no difference to them. They would rather take a giant L on the whole order than to find a way to try to make it better and accommodate you. I told them to refund me my money and set up for them to come pick it all back up. I went to big sandy today and picked out an awesome set that will be ready in 2 DAYS. I will never purchase ANYTHING from Macy's going forward. Lesson learned! read more

They should allow you to select 0 stars! Worst customer service/delivery experience I have ever had. I ordered a bed and a couch for my 4th floor apartment. I asked if it was ok to deliver to an apartment on the 4th floor. They assured me they do this all the time. When the delivery truck got there they driver said that was too many floors to carry furniture up. What did I pay $180 for? I thought that was the delivery fee for the 4th floor. They would not carry it up and I had to refuse delivery. I didn't get my furniture and I'll never shop any Macys again. read more

Delivery is the worst. I ordered 4 dining room chairs and it was to be $200 delivery. What?! They knocked it down to $140. Still too much when I'd be happy to pick up myself but that's not an option. They put on the order that the chairs were to go on hardwood so they were to put pads on the feet bottom. So today is delivery day and I get a call that they will be here in 30-35 minutes. An hour later I called to ask if they were lost. Nope - they were at lunch....... They got here 20-25 minutes later. They bring the chairs in and I remind them of the pads and they tell me they don't have any. I remind them it's on the order. They tell me they used them all on the last order. I tell them "not my problem". Then they change the story to say I'm supposed to have them for them to install. Ugh. They end up leaving without putting pads on the feet and without taking the plastic off the chair seats! I call the store and they say they'll meet me halfway and take $70 off the delivery. Gee, thanks a lot. Now I have to spend the rest of my day going out to buy the pads and install them and get the plastic off (which is actually pretty difficult and time consuming to do). I will never purchase from Macy's Furniture again. read more

If I can give Macy's -5 stars I would have done that !! Worst furniture shopping experience ever!! Nightmare!! We bought our son a bedroom set from Macy's. The screwed up our delivery the first time .. wrong mattress, scratched night stand , scratched dresses, dropped our mattress cover in the street and a neighbor found it and brought it to us, and worst of all they damaged our stairs rails when they were carrying furniture to bedroom. They screwed up second delivery .. Second dresser is scratched from top to bottom , they screwed our third delivery too !!! Dresser is scratched in three different places !!! Managers and Macy's people will tell you that they will take of it and they do nothing !!! We are tired and we will never buy anything from Macy's furniture ever !!! THE WORST!!!! read more

I wish Yelp had an option for a negative number of stars because this place deserves a negative 5 stars. I went there with my wife and kids on Saturday looking for some new dining room chairs. We walked around the store for at least 10 minutes, and no one greeted us or asked if we needed assistance. It turns out that all the employees were chatting in the middle aisle of the store and paying absolutely no attention to the customers there. I will never waste my time or my money on this place, and I encourage anyone who reads this review to not waste his/her time or money there, either. read more

I am shocked at the poor customer service at Macy's furniture Gallery in Dublin, OH. I ordered a sofa in May 2020. It was delivered in August of that year. By November, one of the cushions was failing. A repairman, came out in January (first available appointment) and told me they would send me a new cushion within 3 days. That did not happen. Customer service told me they no longer make this sofa, but would make a new cushion and I would receive it within 3 weeks. That didn't happen either. Then they told me they could not make the cushion and I would need to come in and select a whole new sofa. My new sofa was delivered today, June of 2021, but it is not the sofa I ordered. I would be very careful if you plan on shopping here. You do NOT get what you pay for. read more

Was on the hunt for a dinning table and was about to give up when we stumbled into here. Haven't purchased anything from Macy's furniture wise in decades so I was a bit hesitant but took that leap of faith and away we went. Black Friday sales (yeah, I was still out there hunting) tags were everywhere and we did find our set. Was it as inexpensive as I wanted it to be? No! But am I happy with it? Yes! Our sales person, Tap, was very helpful and let us wander around the store freely without being hounded (he would either pop up now and again or if I looked in his direction he would come to help) and none of the sales people batted an eye when we were dragging different chairs to different tables to see how combinations would work. All of the sales people were friendly and I am happy with the table we bought but why only 3 stars? Macy's had an odd pricing system with prices for table with two chairs and a bench, table with four chairs and a bench, table with four chairs, etc. So if there was a price for a combo you wanted you were good but if there wasn't you had to price it separately which could up the price. Hubs did the math and figured out one combo with one extra piece would be cheaper than another way so good for him! But the biggest reason for the lower rating - the delivery charge. I believe for four items plus it was $200.00! GEEZE!!! And they suckered me into the furniture protection plan of $135.00 which you get back if you don't make a claim in 5 or 7 years (I'm either going to get my money back or use the heck out of that plan). I have been looking for a couch for a few weeks now. I narrowed it down to a few sectionals however, I wanted to sit/feel/look at them before I made my purchase. I entered the store to see EVERY employee laughing/talking/eating in the middle aisle. I proceeded browse and look for the coach I wanted. I was never greeted nor acknowledged. After serveal minutes of being in the store I walked directly through the group of employees who then automatically became silent and proceeded to murmur (things about me), while others continued eating their food. It was obvious that no one wanted to deal with me(or make money) so I immediately left. I had a pocket full of money in which I intended to spend, but with such POOR service I would not even use the bathroom there let alone spend money. Came in 4 weeks ago for patio furniture. They mentioned that the color I wanted would take 6 weeks for delivery. I called today and now they are saying it'll be 8 more weeks before they get the furniture and 5-10 days for delivery after that. They said "things happen" and that's all they could give me for explanation. So far not a great experience :( read more

I'm giving two stars because we did find the perfect couch that we love after looking at just about every single other option in town. However the sales lady was very snarky and rude. There were 6 of us there and we were all put off by her in some way. Anyway, we bought the couch and also an ottoman with the purchase protection plan on both. There was no payment option offered, which we thought was kinda odd. She told us when the delivery would be for the couch and ottoman separately and that we should expect a cleaning kit with each delivery. The couch was delivered and the delivery guys were cool no problems with them however we didn't get the cleaning kit as expected and the guys knew nothing about it. So I call Macy's furniture and they tell me to call customer service. Call customer service and after waiting on hold for 30 mins and being transferred to all these different departments, they tell me to call the Macy's store that it was their mistake and they can fix it. So I call Macy's back once again, and they transfer me to our sales lady who said she would have a cleaning kit shipped out soon. Wait 3+ weeks no cleaning kit. Call Macy's back for a FOURTH time and this guy tells me there's no order in for a cleaning kit and that he will get one shipped out now. Well it's been another 3 weeks since then and still no cleaning kit. Will update soon with the sales ladies' name, if I ever get my cleaning kit or not, and when the ottoman is delivered. read more

WARNING - DO NOT BUY FROM MACYS BECAUSE THEIR FURNITURE LOOKS NICE, BUT THE QUALITY IS SUBPAR AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIFIC!!! I ordered $5000 worth of bedroom and office furniture from the Macy's Furniture on Britton Parkway on Black Friday November 2016. Due to the office furniture being on back order, they told me I would have to wait to have my bedroom furniture delivered unless I would like to pay for delivery twice. At that time the office furniture was on back order for one month. I agreed I could wait because they we would receive our furniture before Christmas. A month later I called Macy's because I expected a call of when the furniture would be delivered, but never received it yet. After calling Macy's customer service, they informed me the office furniture would not be delivered before January 11, 2017. After complaining to Macy's it's been 1 1/2 months since purchasing my furniture, I need to have my new bedroom furniture, they agreed to delivery my bedroom furniture at no cost to me. The delivery of my bedroom furniture was delivered the first weekend of January. The furniture guys did a great job with bringing the furniture in and quickly putting the bed together. About one week later another group of furniture guys brought and put together my office furniture. The desk, none of the three guys knew how to put the desk together and were guessing. I suggested using the instructions. Once they had the instructions, they were able to put the desk together quickly. While cleaning the furniture, I realized the legs on the bed did not look vertical. The filing cabinet also made a clicking noise. I called Macy's customer service and they informed me they would send a technician. The technician came and fixed the legs on the bed. He also fixed the locking mechanism on the filing cabinet which locks one drawer when the other is open.Shortly after the technician left, I quickly became aware the letter filing poles in the filing cabinet were to narrow so they would not fit a letter size hanging file folder. I called customer service and they stated they would send another technician. This appointment they had to set out two weeks. Speaking with customer service about the inconvenience, they said I could return the product, I could have technician fix the problem, or I could have the product replaced. Customer service said the next shipment for the filing cabinet was not until April. I said I could not wait that long to use the filing cabinet. I asked if I could defer payment on the filing cabinet, they said I would have to talk with Macys credit. Macys credit told me they would not defer that cost because the furniture was delivered. I called my Macys store (Dionne) and they said there was nothing they could do. I called customer service again and spoke with Arlin who said they would have the technician come to fix AND would be able to request replacement pieces. They did provide me a 10% discount ($46) for the all the inconveniences. The technician came out again, and he didn't have the correct equipment to fix the cabinet, but he used a different type of drill to move the file hanging poles out. He had to do it on four side of two drawers because the paneling was incorrectly drilled by the manufacture. After fixing the drawers, he told me that he cannot say replacements are needed, but I should call Customer Service. I spoke with the customer service rep (Vickie) and she said since the drawers are fixed, they would not replace the drawers. I spoke with her supervisor (Stephanie) who said they would not fix the drawers not that they met the manufacture standards. I said the drawers were altered, and not meeting manufacture standard, but I purchased a product to be working correctly when purchased. She was rushing to get off the phone. She said she would have her manager call me since I requested the call. I expect, he/she too will not satisfy me by replacing the drawers to meet the standards I expect from the very expensive furniture we purchased. My recommendation is to NEVER BUY FROM MACYS FURNITURE. I wish I would have read Yelp before making my purchase, because they've received really bad reviews. read more

Took FIVE months to get one (NOT custom/special order) sofa! My husband and I had a HORRIBLE experience with the Macy's Furniture Gallery on Britton Parkway in Dublin, OH. We ordered a standard sofa, the grey Mattie model way back on February 16, 2012. The sofa came with the option of a left/right facing chaise. We chose the chaise and ordered the sofa the same day in store. We had not yet moved in to our new home yet, and we wanted to have the sofa arrive when we moved in, or shortly thereafter. We actually even DIDN'T order another model of sofa because the sales representative told us that the other sofa would take 8-12 weeks to arrive, and we didn't want to wait that long, especially since it wasn't even a custom order sofa, just one off the floor, same fabric, etc. A run of the mill order. So we settled on Mattie since the sales ass. told us at the time of ordering that Mattie would take about 4-6 weeks to come in. We even asked him if it is ever shorter than that time period. He said sometimes it is. Fair enough. We didn't hear anything for another, oh, 6 weeks. Since by this time it was at the end of the estimated time period, we called. Do you know what Macy's told us? The sales person informed us WRONGLY and sofas take a standard 8-12 weeks to come in. Strike one. To add insult to injury, we ordered a bedroom set from Ashley furniture the same day as we ordered the sofa from Macy's, and that came in about 3 days. Value City and Ashley furniture take an average of a few days, and Macy's takes 8-12 weeks to come in? Wow. We were angry, but what could we do? We stupidly already waited 6 weeks for this sofa. May 5, 2012, our sofa is scheduled to be delivered, a FULL 12 WEEKS after we ordered and were told 6-8. The delivery men came, and what do you know, the sofa is wrong and the chaise is on the wrong side! Strike two. We were having guests over for Mother's day weekend and the sofa doesn't even fit in our house correctly because of the way the chaise was. We were boiling at this point. We left immediately and went into Macy's personally to tell them what was wrong. We asked to speak to the manager.The sales associate that sold us the sofa and entered the order wrong was mysteriously on vacation. Right. The manager then told us our correct sofa would take ANOTHER 8-12 weeks to come in. eff. us. We had already paid for this incorrect sofa and there was a pending charge for the sofa and DELIVERY of a wrong sofa on our credit card. Way to go Macy's. Ok, we said, we will wait for the correct sofa to come in. The manager then told us that when a furniture order is delivered incorrectly (this must happen a lot) Macy's has a universal discount that is applied depending on the length of time you have been waiting. At this point we should have gotten the darn sofa for free, but whatever. Our other issue is we were supposed to get a 10% "Friends and Family" discount when we ordered the sofa, and that was not applied. Big surprise.My husband had to make numerous phone calls to the customer service to get the 10% applied. Strike three! June 22, 2012, our sofa is scheduled to be delivered. I took the day off work for this. The Wednesday before, an automated delivery scheduling service leaves a message on my cell phone stating that our sofa is scheduled that Friday, I am supposed to get a phone call the day before to confirm the time. Fair enough. I never get a phone call (surprise! we've experienced such lovely customer, up to this point). So I call o check myself. The sofa is scheduled to be delivered between 8-10 am, and the delivery people will call before they come. Ok. Around 8:10 on Friday, I get a knock at the door. Thanks for calling ahead! Strikefour!. I asked why they never called to confirm the time and also why they didn't call to say they were on their way. They said they had a wrong phone number. Ok, liars. I realize this is a minor thing, but when added to the list, it ignites me. Why lie? Somehow Macy's had the correct number the first time it was delivered (they called). Somehow they had the correct number to place the automated call, so why lie? Just another example of their dishonesty. Afull 5 months laterthe couch had arrived but the dimensions on the width was smaller then said in the brochure of a full 2 inches.Also,we never got our discount that we were promised by the manager for our troubles. My husband even called the customer service line after delivery because we got a call from the fraud protection on our credit card that our card had been charged twice by Macy's (why not try to rob us, Macy's?). They said they would have to "check" into the discount.After a numerous phone calls back and forth we got a inconvenience discount of $110! Not a very pleasant experience at all! We ordered a couch from Macy's in person (Tuttle location) in November and have yet to receive the couch (it's January) which is absolutely fine but we found out it now will not be delivered until March with no explanation and only after literally 12 phone attempts to get an order update. I cannot comment on the product itself as we haven't received it but the customer service is truly the worst I have ever received. I was directed to their online customer service, the wrong store, the wrong department and had the "right" department drop my call 5 times. I was given three incorrect "direct" numbers to the actual Tuttle Store, I never did get the correct number (no, it's not the one listed on the website as it's all automated and directs you elsewhere).
