Foundation, concealer, and my mac foundation brush

I absolutely do not like the layout of this Macy's. I don't really ship here but I get my make-up here. I decided to take my mother shopping for some make-up and so we went. My mom is in a wheelchair chair and I didn't find the wheel chair accessibility to be that accommodating. The doors are small and the but is smashed in and looks broken, but it works, somewhat. I didn't like that about this Macy's. I found all the make-up counters to be very small. My mom uses clarins make-up, while I use the mac and estee lauder. Like I say, the counters are small and the different brands are very close to each other. Today at estee lauder, they had a spend 40$ and get some creams and serum 112$ value for free. I didn't really need anything, but I had to get the deal. Also there was an extra 15% off. I got some concealer and foundation and ofc I had to get the foundation brush from mac. I think they make awesome brushes. I didn't like myself make-up girl that helped me at estee lauder. It just seemed her "focus" was easily swayed. She was nice though. Well, all make-up girls are fairly nice. I didn't know people actually still went to malls, since you can buy EVERYTHING online now. 3 stars bc of the handicap button

Macy's has changed over the years. Now it's a homogeneous national store for almost every one and yet, for no one in particular. Gone are all the local city competitors, who provided choices through their buyers, like Bon Marché, Filene's, Bloomingdale's (yes, they own them too), Jordan Marsh and Marshall Field, I Magnum, I could go on. All were acquired by Macy's and folded into this national brand, with their local charm and character all erased. Even their original name, Federated Dept Stores is gone. A few have escaped, Dillard's and Nordstrom's comes to mind, or Canada's Hudson Bay's Saks Fifth Avenue. But very few local identities remain. Which brings me to my accidental visit here yesterday. Macy's it seems has become a store within a store. Lids Locker Room, defunct Toys R Us and Footlocker have all partnered with small kiosks inside their store. It's similar to what Apple, Google, etc did with Best Buy. So what makes Macy's special? Do I shop here for Polo Ralph Lauren, or go to their store? Ditto the above brands. My experience here was sad and disappointing. Nothing unique. Nothing special. Nothing I couldn't get online or somewhere else. Just a homogeneous experience of bland. Bring back Gimbel's and Abraham & Strauss, all is forgiven.

The absolute worst customer service and return policy I have ever encountered. I paid 80 dollars for a melissa and Doug vending machine and was sent a final sale rewrapped comforter with a torn store receipt attached! A 30 day return policy during the holidays is absolute bull shit and their only resolution was to reorder and repay for my item. I will never do business with Macy's again!!

Hello! I want to ask do you guys have 999 Pure 24K Gold Pixiu and Agate Women's bracelet at Macy's?

Sorry, Alivia. You might want to give the store a call (951) 541-3333 on that one.

Do they do tailoring at this location?

We were browsing dress shirts when my boyfriend asked to try on a simple white shirt (around $90). Before even allowing him to try it on, the man questioned whether the price was "acceptable," then went on to complain about customers on a budget wasting his time by asking to try things on. This was unnecessary and off-putting. My boyfriend tried the shirt anyway. While the fit was fine, the fabric and overall quality did not justify the price, so he decided not to purchase it. At that point, the situation escalated. The owner became visibly irritated and began criticizing my boyfriend's current shirt, insisting the one in the store was far superior--ironically, the shirt he was wearing had been purchased from that same store previously. The entire interaction felt argumentative, dismissive, and unnecessarily condescending. Shopping should not feel like you have to justify your budget or defend your decisions as a customer. There are plenty of places that offer both quality products and respectful service. This was not one of them.

We rented complete head-to-toe looks for both of my boys for prom, and they looked absolutely amazing. Everything fit well, and the overall presentation was sharp and polished. I highly recommend using Men's Wearhouse. While prices can be a bit higher during prom season, you're truly paying for the experience--and it shows. The staff was friendly, professional, and made the entire process stress-free. The store itself was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. If you want to avoid the hassle of piecing together an outfit for prom, a wedding, or any special event, this is definitely the place to go. The suit was ordered and scheduled to be delivered Thursday, which had FedEx tracking and email confirmation. When he went to pick it up Thursday evening, it was not there. Grandma's funeral is this Saturday in the Bay area. My husband flies out Friday morning to attend and now has no suit to wear despite spending 3 hours Sunday afternoon at a fitting. In what world is this acceptable? It seems they can't even keep track of orders that are shipped in, so go somewhere else. Save your money! Don't waste your time. They don't care about their customers. UPDATE* So my husband tried go pick up his suit again. Of course, they closed at 6pm on Memorial Day. We had called earlier that morning and the phone was cutting in and out. What we both heard the associate on the phone say was "Well since it's Monday..." and then it cut out so we just assumed it was normal Monday business hours because why else would you begin a sentence like that? What she should have said was "We close at 6 today." It's a holiday. Call any other place and that's how they respond. The lack of efficiency and unnecessary verbosity when it comes to service and communication in this location is beyond frustrating. My husband headed to the store after 6PM unfortunately. For the record, we live about 20 minutes away so it's a 40 minute round trip drive to go each time. So that's an hour and 20 minutes he has driven to still NOT HAVE A SUIT!! (Also gas is $6/gal) At this point, I feel like they should just give my husband his suit for free or perhaps he should return it because this is not how it should be!

They were more than happy to relieve me of my skateboard and longboard. I had a mortgage to pay. I did not want to risk a broken bone. Time to adult I thought. Five years later my awesome wife got not rollerblading. She wanted me to roll around with her while she practiced. I am not a roller skater nor a roller bladder. I used to be a skateboarder. I told her about Active. How when I was twelve, I used to scrounge up my change to buy bearings and wheels at Active while my mom, brother, and I washed our weekly laundry at the coin-laundry place next door. We live in Vista now. I wanted to check out the Active in Escondido; however, it has since closed. I try to spend local and checked out local skate shops but kept thinking about my old Active. I convinced my wife that we could go to Temecula and pop in for a bite at Old Town after to make it worth the drive. I felt like a kid again walking into Active in Temecula, same shopping center, but in the new location. I had the fortune of meeting Jackson. He is enthusiastic about skateboarding. I told him that this would be my last board, and for me, it was like buying a car. We talked about styles, boards, form versus function, etc. Jackson led me through each category and made me feel confident that I was selecting items that fit my riding style and personal style preferences. This is my favorite board that I have ever owned. The front cashier said my board was dope when ringing out. I already knew, but to hear the first person say it, made me grin from ear-to-ear. I hope Active comes back strong. I will try to spend my money there when I can to support the cause. The Return. Thank you Jackson, the woman in the front, and Active. I felt like a kid again. I made sure to cruise Old Town on my awesome new board to make sure the first ride was in Temecula. Where I grew up. Where I hung out at Active. Where I fell in love with skating. Thank you!
