Ascent is the outlier. They were amazing. Their business popped up when I did a ChatGPT search to replace the windshield in my 2020 Toyota RAV4. My windshield is pretty high tech with camera inputs that have to be aligned perfectly so I needed a company with the equipment and skill to get that dialed in perfectly. Ascent was by far the most reasonable on price and had consistently great reviews. I figured that must mean I'd likely have to compromise on speed or quality. Not at all. They had me immediately scheduled for less than a week later and showed up at my door and had the job knocked out in no time. They also found a few drain tubes that were clogged under my cowl and blew those out for me free of charge. Tanner and Kyle are co-owners who are literally third generation windshield installers and have done this since they were young. Instead of continuing to crank out dozens of windshield replacements a day in a shop, they decided they wanted to be able to have more interactions with the customer and have the time to make sure they did the job right. Hearing more about their business I was only more sold on these guys. I personally appreciate and applaud that they've figured out how to create a small business that's efficient and still leaves them time to invest in their families. After viewing the company websites and reading recent reviews on Yelp, I decided NOVUS was the best option. Being a busy person, I don't have time to go and wait in a waiting room while the work was done. Instead, I needed to have the glass technician come to my home and install on site. In communication with the NOVUS scheduler, they were very pleasant and willing to work with me on arranging a time that fit my schedule. During the heat of the summer, they explained they schedule home replacements only during the morning hours. We arranged for a date about a week and a half away, which I felt was reasonable. On the scheduled day, the tech called me when he was on his way. WIthin a short time, he arrived with a partner. They parked adjacent to the car, and said they'd let me know when the installation was complete. Within the hour, they advised they were done. There were specific instructions to follow regarding care of the new windshield. These included removing the outside tape at a specific time and leaving a side window slightly open to reduce air pressure when doors were closed for the first day. This was explained very clearly so there was no confusion on my part. The customer care was very friendly and their installation was professional. No worries from me as to the quality. I recommend you consider NOVUS for your vehicle windshield replacements. You will be satisfied.

I contacted them multiple times to have it corrected. They repeatedly scheduled appointments but never showed up or called. When I was finally able to reach someone, instead of taking responsibility, they claimed the technician had come to my house and no one was home. That is simply not true. I have security cameras covering my property, and no technician ever came to my home on the scheduled dates. After several attempts to contact them, it appears they blocked my phone number. I even called from a different number to give them another chance and scheduled another appointment. Once again, they never showed up, and now it seems that number has also been blocked. Standing behind your work and communicating with customers should be the bare minimum. Instead, I was left with a leaking windshield, no resolution, and some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Save yourself the time and frustration and choose a company that values honesty, professionalism, and its customers.
