This time was different. I signed my son up for a haircut and we waited about 40 minutes. When it was finally his turn, the barber only called my son's name once. I told my wife to go up while I grabbed my son. When my wife got there, she noticed that someone else was already sitting in the chair that was supposed to be for my son. She went to the front to check if there had been a mistake. When she explained the situation to the owner, Marcelo, his response was to raise his hands and shoulders and say, "I called your son's name." There was no attempt to resolve the issue or help fix the situation. What was disappointing is that the employee at the front who was charging customers actually understood the situation and tried to help us. Unfortunately, the owner didn't seem to care or take any responsibility. As a business owner, you would expect a little more effort to address problems like this, especially for customers who have been coming here for years.

I called day of (Friday) to schedule an appointment, and they were still able to accommodate me to come in that day. I was looking to do a basic blowout with curls. Because the stylists were all occupied with other patrons, I did have to wait a bit before getting the wash and conditioning, but that was not an issue because they were consistently acknowledging my presence and said they'll be with me shortly. After the wash, the stylist sectioned off my hair to blow-dry, and once that was done, she curled my hair. Because my hair is relatively straight, the stylist made sure that the curls stay intact by continuously hair spraying them down before I left the shop.
