Made In LA is amazing! Not only is Deedra exceptionally skilled but so are the rest of the girls in the salon. I would trust any of them to do my hair! Nadine and Lumina are also very talented and it shows in their work. The girls assistants also do an amazing job with helping out. Everyone in the salon is really friendly, if its your first visit it definitely wont feel like it because they make you feel right at home. The Salon is such a great environment with such good vibes! Its a fun place to be, its clean and decorated really cute. They also provide complementary drinks and snacks. They have great payment options for your service and also sell recommended products in the salon. Future appointments are always made in advance during your visit when you become an existing client. I loved my experience at Made in LA with Kala!! She took her time on my hair (which is short and had grow out from bleach) and made sure to make my scalp was feeling okay and that my hair was taking the bleach well. I felt very well taken care of and loved the results!! Kala redid my blonde and used a mixture of toners to create a really really nice purple tone that I'm in love with. I was looking forward to getting my hair done by Deedra because of how she portrays her business on IG. Unfortunately she took a deposit and then never responded to my texts again. I received an appointment confirmation a couple weeks after sending a deposit through zelle and texting her as well as messaging through Instagram to inquire about my appointment. I received a confirmation text for the appointment and then an hour later received another message that my appointment was canceled. No communication or any type of follow up. I tried reaching out multiple times but never got any response. I wanted to like this place but unfortunately the experience was very unprofessional. I never got my $100 deposit back. I came to Deedra based on her reviews and pictures of great work. I agree pictures look awesome.....but not everyone makes her pictures she is not perfect. I did not get what I wanted I did more than 4 processes to get light hair but nah it was still not what I wanted. See pictures yourself. Last time I went my hair was bleached and was just left sitting there for to long while she works clients in between.....my skin was burning and told her it burns. Said oh yeah it can happen bleach burns a bit but the next day omg had so much scabs. I should taken pictures of it but I only have the redness of the day I was in the salon. Yes you may have a nice personality, but babe, I would trade someone who makes you feel nice for a job well done any day!
