Totally standard breakfast! Nothing to write home about but no complaints either. We enjoyed our omelettes and french toast. Potatoes were yum. Got in with no wait on a Friday morning. I will say the place was a little echoey and could easily get very loud and hard to hear conversation. Also, I got a chai latte that was honestly just bitter, awful and not sweet at all - but maybe that's my inexperience with chai lattes? Went here for the first time and we loved it!! The waiter, Chad, was awesome! Friendly and knowledgeable, also funny! The hostess was also very helpful in offering a kids mat with crayons for my child. The coffee is local and was recommended to just have it black and hot-- that's how you know the coffee is a 10/10, and it was!! Great recommendations from Chad, did not disappoint. We had the western and Italian omelette, plain short stack with maple syrup (additional charge for maple syrup, no biggie), OJ, and hot black coffee (also ordered one to go!) everything came with toast and home fries. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious and just nice and clean. We received a coupon at the end which is a great incentive to come back! Really enjoyed everything. Delicious and well seasoned. Clean and vibrant atmosphere. Sat inside with a large party of 7. Every plate came out beautifully and delicious. My plate of fresh arugula, ham prosciutto and yummy mozzarella creamy and firm all in one. The salmon on toast was the perfect balance of cream cheese and greens. The red onion was perfection. Thank goodness I got to sample around the table because it was all yummy. The golden potatoes and capacious presented in a glass cup just added to the delight of the meal. Pooh and I stopped here on our way back home from Lake George. This restaurant is owned by or in partnership with Saluti which is right next door. The ambiance is family friendly and inviting. The servers were the same guys that were working at Saluti; we went there for supper the night before. Pooh ordered eggs (easy over) and bacon and I had a bagel with salmon and cream cheese. A great place for breakfast in LG. The coffee is delicious and it's in a very large mug. They have gluten free options and they are very careful. I went last year and had an amazing omelette with a gluten free roll. This year I tried the gluten free Belgian waffle and I was sooo happy. We stopped in for a late breakfast here while visiting the Lake George area. While the first waitress asked if we were ready, she never came back. I noticed she was doing something in the corner and possibly forgot about our table. Our "new" waitress 'Brandi' was excellent! Biscotti Brothers Cafe is mostly a breakfast and lunch spot located in Lake George. I say mostly because they do pizza take out after they close for lunch. Oddly there were not that many options for breakfast in the Lake George region. Biscotti Brothers is one of the few and they have a parking lot so over we went. The quality of food would be considered diner quality. All just really standard breakfast fare. Pancakes, French Toast, Omelettes, things like that. All the serving sizes were on the large side, but I would have liked to see bigger pieces of bacon in my omelette than the small bits in there. The service was efficient, the servers kept everything moving and the wait time for our food was at a minimum. Overall a pretty decent nonadventurous breakfast that everyone in the family should enjoy. read more

Three of us arrived here around 11:30 on a quiet, overcast, Saturday, for lunch. There was plenty of seating and large parking lot, unlike being in the center of town, where you need to search for parking and walk to the restaurant, this place has easy access. The hostess and server were both VERY friendly, attentive and accommodating. All the ingredients on sandwiches and with eggs were prepared with ample portions of fresh ingredients (no soggy old lettuce or days-old bread). The french fries had the right amount of crispy-ness and salt. It's not gourmet, it's basic, fresh fare. It's dark inside and looks more like a bar than a cafe, so it will be an escape from the sun on a hot summer day. From the photos, it appears they have outdoor seating, when the weather is better. I'd happily return when I am in Lake George again. read more

We went to the Boscotti Beothers because the website pictures were nice and there wasn't a line. This was most probably for a reason. 2 kids, 2 adults and $70 plus dollars later, we left disappointed. Biscotti started off strong with a large (soup sized) cup of hot, beany, black coffee. No milk needed to enjoy. The room is pretty echoey so it can get kind of loud. The server was okay. Quick to serve us and he wrote our order correctly although it did not arrive that way. Our plain Belgium waffle tasted delicious but it arrived with no whip cream. After that it went down hill. Bacon was meh. Eggs Benedict had no taste to it. Have you ever cut into your food and without even tasting it, you knew that it wouldn't be good? I cut into my omelet that was dry and overcooked. It was the taste of disappointment. We have not had great luck at Lake George in terms of food so this was par for the course but there are a lot cheaper places out there to try. It's hard to screw up breakfast and biscotti bro's succeeded in doing just that. I gave it 3 stars for the prompt service, clean table, and good coffee. read more

This cafe is a little further away from the busy Lake George Village area but it's worth checking out! I stopped by for a quick lunch and coffee before going on a hike, and it ended up being the perfect fuel to keep me moving on the trails. I had the honey barbeque chicken melt and it was deliciously satisfying, and the dirty chai latte had just the right balance of coffee and chai in it. Although my table was one of the only tables dining in, I noticed a lot of take-out orders were being taken over the phone and several groups were coming by to pick them up. There's also a small patio if you want to eat outdoors and a large parking lot to park your car (which I can always appreciate!). read more

Indoors is loud, outdoors is hot as anything and they desperately need more than one umbrella. Took 15 minutes to get our coffee and another 10 for the water we ordered simultaneously. Italian omelette was fine, but the regular eggs benedict were really not great - egg was poached correctly, but completely untoasted English muffin infected it with a totally raw taste and the hollandaise was out of a packet and congealed in an unappetizing way. Came to this place around 8:30 am on a Friday and ate outside in their tent. Tables are spaced and there are indoor options too! Four stars for the wait time, 15-20 minutes for a latte. Three stars for the food which was great in some spots. My fiancé and i split the Italian omelet (potato, salami, provolone) that came with 2 huge pieces of toast (get the rye toast) and the fruit compote crepe. Both came with sides of home fries. The home fries were DELICIOUS but were roasted cubes potatoes, not quite a home fry. The omelet was very good but the provolone was just thrown on top, which i found odd since it was a round slice that didn't cover the whole omelet. The fruit compote crepe was OK, couldn't really taste the crepe (which seemed more crispy than soft) with all the mushy fruit. Wouldn't order a crepe again. The lattes were really good and large... once they arrived. Overall this place was good with large portions. Would try again! read more

This was one of our first stops in Lake George with kids. I don't believe it prompted us that this place existed on Yelp!, but I am very glad we saw it driving by. We have picky kids. We have kids who don't even like to look at food they are so picky. Once we convinced the children that eating was an absolute necessity to life itself on this vacation, we managed to find something for everybody on this menu. The first item of order after a long drive is coffee. The ordering of the coffee was a little odd because they have a barista, but the waitress orders the coffee for you, and she didn't know how to translate what some tourist favorite's were. For example, a Cafe' Ole' (Misto for Starcucks fans) is not the same as an Americano. Alas. At some point, someone there knew how to make a decent drink because there are other pictures posted by the owners of some delicious concoctions, but my coffee certainly didn't look anything like that. I know, this is my priority after making sure kids wouldn't starve and I deserve good coffee. Anyhow, If you have a choice between here and Caffe' Vera, I would choose here for the same bang for your buck and quicker service. read more

Starting out by saying if there were half ratings this would be a 3.5 rating.... Friends had eaten here so we decided to give it a try. Location: Just outside the center of Lake George (or "up the hill"). It's nice because it has it's own private parking lot. The decor is nice and capacity is decent. They do have a patio with tables but it was way too hot so we ate inside. Decor is nice! Service: We were seating fairly quickly. It took a bit for our server to come to the table but it was a holiday and pretty busy. Seemed to take forever to get our drinks and then she had to come back for the order. Unfortunately, our order went in after a table of 10 so we waiting over 30 mins for our food. Food: Good! I had eggs benedict and my friends had omelets. Tasty! Coffee came in a HUGE cup so it got cold before I could drink it all. Had to ask for a refill. The refill tasted like the bottom of the pot... And they don't bring the pot around. Note for the ladies: The restroom has 2 stalls and there is about a 1.5" gap where the door locks. You can see out so I'm sure anyone waiting can see in! read more
