Eggs Benedict with prosciutto and a side salad
    Melissa E.

We stopped by this place for a quick breakfast craving crossiants. On first impressions the outside was beautiful and upon entering we were greated and seated right away. The servers were vibrant and took our drink orders right away. We got a vanilla iced cold brew latte and a caramel iced cold brew latte. Which were overall okay. They were very sweet and lacked a strong coffee flavor. Next after looking over the menu it didnt take long for the servers to be back ready to take our order. We decided on Gourmande (crepe with nutella, banana, strawberries and whipped cream), and the Eggs benedict with prosciutto and a side salad. Our order took 15 minutes to come out after ordering, fast service. And the food looked amazing. The crepe first was thin, light and had a perfect balence of nutella and fruit. It overall wasnt too sweet, and was a perfect sweet breakfast. Very delicious highly reccomend! The eggs benedict looked phenomenal. There was lots of prosciutto , and the hollandaise was to die for, it was perfecly made. The side salad was a little unconventional but the lettuce, and vegetables were fresh and delicious. The dressing was one of my favorites it was well balenced and a perfect homemade dressing to this salad. I would recommend this dish as well. The food was a perfect fast and easy place to stop. While we didnt get any, they had a whole display of fresh pasteries and bread and seasonal coffees and drinks. We enjoyed our food so much, and would definitely go back to try some other dishes and drinks.

First, we loved that there was live music (we came on a weekend). I really enjoyed my crepe, locally farmed eggs, crispy bacon, and a nice fruit bowl. My daughter crepe stuffed with spinach, smoked salmon, and cheese was too too salty. Her soup could also be a bit thicker. We didn't get to try any pasties, but they do look amazing!!!

It's a great place to grab brunch or lunch. It's easy to park. The service was great, but I noticed other tables were given bread baskets--we were not. I had the ham and Swiss crepe with potato soup, which was delicious. My boyfriend had the brie and Swiss croissant and enjoyed it.

Ambiance is a balance of outdoor French charm grounded by the sound of horns honking in the adjacent shopping center parking lot to remind you that you are indeed in Sarasota FL. Service is slow but fine. Just visit when you are not in a rush. It's far more enjoyable that way anyway. My quemper crepe was VERY rich with a lot of goat cheese and quite salty salmon. I think most people would enjoy it very much but my palate is sensitive. Be prepared to enjoy something a little more French and a little less American and enjoy the experience!

Came here for a quick breakfast. Was seated and served quickly. I had an omelette with spinach. It was nicely crisp, not mushy. Pastries and coffee excellent. Pretty reasonable prices for Sarasota. Convenient parking in the mall lot.

Don't waste your time here! My friend and I were so excited to come here. We planned our whole day out adventure around having breakfast here. Drove in from Tampa and could not have been any more disappointed in our decision! We were seated immediately upon arrival. Given menus and visited 2x by the waitress to see if we were ready to order. We were ready by her second visit. I ordered the ham and cheese crepe (gluten free) and my friend ordered the Croquet Mademoiselle. The food took FOREVER to come out. The place started to get a crowd and there appeared to be only the 1 server. People came in, sat for a bit and got up and left due to not being acknowledged and served. One lady at a table behind us even stopped the server and asked if they could get service. Our food, no lie, took 45 minutes. When it arrived it looked AWFUL, especially my supposed crepe! It didn't even look like a crepe...the outside was all broken apart. I would've been totally embarrassed to have served that to anyone! Upon tasting it, it wasn't warm at all and the cheese wasn't even melted. Disgusting. My friend also had no béchamel sauce with her food. She had to go get the server for her to come over for us to explain our displeasure with the food. She said they were having issues in the kitchen but would get the sauce out and take my food off the bill. She asked if I wanted them to make a new one which I declined. I took her up on the offer of a plain crepe. That took about 5 minutes and it was out. I took a bite and it was gross! Wasn't hot and very chewy, not cooked fully. Most definitely needs improvement and a lot of it. I think this place has potential but they need staffing to be able to accommodate visitors and better cooks. The menu sounds so appealing and the baked goods in the display look so good. But after this visit, NO THANKS!

So good we had egg Benedict with brisket and kremper. Fabulous choices for brunch. The fruit was SO fresh and delicious.

A quaint slice of European coziness. Welcomed at the door with a friendly smile. We stopped in after dinner and had a delicious cappuccino. I particularly enjoyed seeing all the European (French) decor. The pastries look amazing and the croissants are flaky and delicious. Very nice place to visit and highly recommended!

Such a wonderful place! We stopped in for a cappuccino, which was made perfectly. The staff is friendly and attentive. Listening to them speak French was a delight! The pastries that were available looked delicious, get there earlier for more of a selection as some items were sold out. They make their pastries from scratch early in the morning. The atmosphere and ambiance is so pretty, romantic and inviting. Lots of Eiffel Tower decor and black and white photographs of elegant looking people. The white linen tablecloths and red napkins rolled up with the tables set is warm and inviting. We look forward to visiting again.

You'll find a wide selection of artisan breads (sourdough, brioche buns, French bread, and more), plus sweets and specialty items like cinnamon buns, pizza dough, and muffins - all made from simple, fresh ingredients. We baked the most delicious bread and had so much fun in the process. My favorite was the cheese and pepperoni bread. We also sampled the Rosemary Garlic Ciabatta, which was so good - it's a must-try! I'll definitely be visiting again and attending another bread making class.

Because the parking lot is a nightmare with people walking around everywhere, crazy drivers, compact spaces, and only one entrance and exit to the lot. I always park as quickly as possible and run as fast I can for the main market entrance, because I am usually getting stares and cat calls... Never seeing this little hidden bakery entrance to the left of the main door. How did I find out about this bakery retail store? My co-workers have been telling me for years and I never put two and two together. A co-worker last week has to sit me down and convince me that there is another door, it is the left of the main entrance, and there is a bakery in there that is not connected to the main market. I went and was transformed to a sweet bakery world. The sweet smells hit me like a wave of happiness as I entered, the low prices amazed me, and the service brought me back to Chinatown Manhattan. Just like a Korean or Chinese bakery, everything is under $1. You grab a metal tray and a pair of tongs, then walk around the entire room, plucking the best of the beautiful baked buns and sweets from glass cases. Then, bring everything to the register and check out. I said out loud, "This reminds me of a Chinese bakery." And, a man and his wife overheard me, he said he is from Taiwan. We started talking about Chinese bakeries and how there are not any in the area. This is the closest thing. The Churros are only $0.89 each, and are crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, filled with Dulce de Leche. There are many different types of savory breads, that are even cheaper, that I like to buy to make sandwiches. The bread is soft and yeasty. There are donuts, what appear to be Japanese melon bread, pineapple cakes, and cinnamon buns. They make custom cakes and sell massive flans. The Hello Kitty cakes are adorable. There are also many sodas and yogurts to choose from. People at the office are going to love me now, because I bring them bags of baked goodies from here. Please do not make the same mistake I have made for years, by not coming here.
