This immediately put me at ease as we started to brainstorm together. All other caterers were now subpar. She crafted a beautiful menu for us that included mini (single-bite) sized tacos as part of the hors d'oeuvres and an upscale barbeque with hometown roots for the entree. Our guests have not stopped RAVING about our food (strong accolades for the BBQ still rolling in from our Texas and Tennessee-native guests, so you know it was great!). Highlights included the stuffed shells, zucchini blossoms, black bean sliders and the absolutely fabulous turmeric ginger lemonade, among many other wonderful dishes. Some of our guests had special dietary needs such as being gluten free or certain food allergies and Ali was easily able to accommodate them so that there were lots of choices. Fortunately I have world's greatest nephew so he took me to an amazing Italian restaurant, instead, for my birthday, after we spent a glorious day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. And he bought me beautiful earrings. He really is the greatest nephew. I had a wonderful birthday. When considering this business, I think it's important to know that canceling can, and does, happen, and apparently in the absence of an emergency.
