I have been here multiple times, they have several parking spots in front of the restaurant but there is some street parking as well and some parking under the bridge nearby. We've made reservations each time, usually for a weekday evening but it never seems too busy. Service is always pretty decent and they're friendly and attentive. I've liked everything I've gotten so far (their wings are delicious and worth the wait). I've only gotten 2 items out of the 3 or 4 times that I've been here that I wasn't a fan off. The Caesar Salad with Salmon (Salmon was cooked nicely but there was just something about the salad that didn't taste right) and their Nautical Gnocchi (a little too salty for my taste). Otherwise, everything was great. It is nice to sit by the water and it is more on the casual side.

Went in May after the Sunday brunch crowd. They had a few specials going on which included ribs, fish and chips, and oysters. We were seated in the back with a view of the water and had no trouble getting started with orders. The fried oyster appetizer was excellent, and the stuffed flounder. I did not try the crab cakes but it's definitely a crowd favorite and was enjoyed in our party. The ribs were not good- on the crispy side and not the most tender. The service was nothing to brag about but not bad either. Overall, a solid place for specific seafood items.

Riverfront views are the only thing this place has going for it. It's bar food quality with fine dining prices. Service is fine. You might decide waterfront is worth it, but be prepared to pay $26 for soggy breakfast potatoes and poached egg cooked over hard in your Benedict

I had the pleasure of having brunch at Madigan's Waterfront this weekend. I joined a few new friends at the waterside seating, we could not have asked for a more beautiful day. I called earlier to ensure that I could cover the tab for a group that volunteered to assist in a cleanup that morning in the Town of Occoquan. I had to stop at another meeting down the road and rushed back and forth. The restaurant Manager, Heather, was very pleasant and kept me informed in order for me to be there before they left. Heather brought Kenny to meet me at the door as our table server. He was very courteous and terrific at providing a top tier service that I always receive here and expect wherever I spend my money when patronizing a business. I have always received great service from everyone here at all times and shifts of the day. The food has always been on par as well. I believe the crux of being here may be the veil of dismalness and lack of TLC. You can smell it and it isn't the poo in the river. When observing the restrooms, trash dumpster and overall condition of the dining room/bar areas, improvements can be made and escalate the business in more ways than they can imagine. To make money (for the owners and employees) you need to spend money. Menu is good and solid, keep the selection and quality. The drinks are more at the Tiki Bar than inside. The staff are terrific, keep the ones that enjoy being there and have the best ones like Kenny, Mike, Heather, and Lenny lead and manage staff and service. Someone independent needs to manage inventory. Money is being drained by too many freebies from the staff and could be used towards a decent toilet to sit on and stall doors to lock. There are great events that take place here like live bands, solo musicians, line dancing, karaoke and others. Bottom line, this restaurant should not have an empty seat and I look forward to more improvements and happy experiences here. +- parking ( handicap available) + service + food presentation/quality/flavor - restaurant and exterior condition

The plusses: The prices were okay, and the food quality was good. The Mad Burger I ate was very well seasoned with good crisp bacon, while the Ribeye sandwich was strictly knife and fork fare after a bite or two (it was a mess to eat but tasty.) The accompanying baked potato was on the cold side of room temperature. Housemade chips were crisp. The Meh: Service was slow and uneven despite only three tables occupied but it was friendly. I had to ask for my drink (coffee) a third time before it was remembered. But the waitress was very nice and engaging. The WTF: Halfway through the meal they cut on a karaoke machine in the bar section. There is a wall blocking the view from the dining area but it only extends half the length of the restaurant, so you are effectively in the bar when it comes to the noise. Bad karaoke is not amusing or entertaining unless you have been in a bar for far too long. So go early or go elsewhere if you don't want to hear Sweet Caroline loudly tortured. Verdict: Price was okay for the food, an okay experience, nothing I will go out of the way for.

I really enjoyed my dish. There was a good amount of crab and shrimp and the gnocchi was well cooked. Service was quick and our server was very friendly. The patio overlooks the water which is really nice if there's good weather. We'd definitely come back!

Great place next to the water. Lovely service. I ordered Thai mussels and crab chowder. I will say the chowder was one of the best I've had. Lovely place to have a bite.

A absolute stop if your in between Richmond and Dc and want a fabulous dining experience. The view was breathtaking and I loved that just outside the restaurant you can rent kayaks. The staff were knowledgeable of the menu and ready to serve. I ordered the salmon bowl which was cooked to perfect. The restaurant and the town make for the perfect day near the water.

I wrote a review from Fathers day already. Its my grandsons 12th birthday and guess where he wants to go? I agreed, because they get to choose. I told them waitress that last time was horrible, she understood and took on the challenge. All was well until dinners came in. Only my wife had a salad before her entree. When the entrees came to the table, by another server, my wife had no meal and mine was missing a loaded potato. The kids also had no ranch, which is a federal crime to them. We asked 2 others and our server, never received. When our server came out to see how dinner was going, I told her we are missing 1 entrees and my side of potato. She quickly went to kitchen and came back with the potatoes and then apologized for not keying in my wife's dinner. By the time she received her meal, most of us were done. The manager 1st came to apologize and said that she will comp us a dessert, but still no entrees yet. It took another 20 minutes from our entrees, before she received hers. The manager came back and said the entrees is on her. The food is always good, but for 6 people, over $200, I would like to eat together and have great service. When they brought out a free dessert for the birthday boy, they never asked what he likes, of course it was not what he wanted. He blew out the candle and then I ordered the dessert he did want for his birthday. Yes, you guessed it, I paid for that and the free dessert the manager mentioned, must have been recalled because entrees was free, which was the higher price, but she should have given her the dessert to make up to HER, for delayed food, since I paid for the meal only I benefited. Its saddening that this will be off our list here in Woodbridge. There are many others to choose from, even with 4 or 5 going out of business lately. In closing, the food is good, but service is terrible and since managers were involved, it seems like a culture problem of quality employees.

It was a fine appetizer (I was expecting to be dazzled, and I was not). The service was fine. Our server seemed young and inexperienced, and not incredibly knowledgeable about the menu items. This place keeps the Belgian brews stocked across the spectrum. From fruity Lambics to Tripels (my personal fave) and Quadrupels, pales to darks. There's a lot to explore here. The food is pretty good too. The frites (fries) are excellent and pair well with the beer. They are thick without veering into steak fry territory, nicely crunchy, and packed with a pleasing amount of salt (and I believe a hint of vinegar). The waffles are also a standout, typically topped with light and airy cream. The merguez lamb sausage is also hearty and delicious. I wish the building itself was larger. There's only a few tables, meaning you may be in for a wait if you go during the colder months. And I recently had the chocolate mousse and didn't care for it. It was much more akin to pudding, and there wasn't a deep enough chocolate flavor to contrast with the whipped cream. There's no better place I've found in Occoquan to eat, drink, and be merry. I highly recommend you stop here when you visit.
