We've been here twice in a month. The first time we sat near the bar and the bartender was also our waiter. He was great. The steaks were on point. The second time we came we were seated in a booth that I felt left us a bit neglected. There were 4 of us; 3 ordered steaks and all three ordered medium rare. They were cooked beyond that. My salmon was cooked exactly as it should be. The third steak was sent back as it was the wrong order. I could have sworn I did a review on this in February but I guess I forgot. Now...I really wanted to like Longhorn because I enjoy my steak and like to have a variety of places to venture out and try. But they missed the mark for me in how the drink was tasting and the variety of steaks. So I am in no doubt a prime rib girly! Medium rare with lots of au jus and creamy horseradish please. But Longhorn did not even have it as an option on their menu. Ok... So I decided to get if I can remember correctly a ribeye and some sides. The drink I tried was a dragon fruit margarita. The bread they give you ehh...nothing like those soft rolls from my fav spot...IYKYK. The food was alright nothing write home about. The server was really nice and helpful so I can't say anything about that. The design was old western to bring in the only type vibe... Would I go back naw...I'll just stick with what I know. I've visited LongHorn Steakhouse twice recently, once for my birthday and again for Mother's Day, and overall I'd give this location 4/5 stars. The food has honestly been the highlight both times, and it's the main reason I'd come back. For my first visit, I ordered the lamb chops with corn and mashed potatoes, and they were AMAZING. I also appreciated the complimentary birthday ice cream at the end of the meal. However, the service timing really needs improvement. Even though the restaurant wasn't busy, it took a very long time for us to get attended to. We waited a long time before receiving bread and appetizers, and several sides and menu items were unavailable. I also tried a few of their lemonade drinks and honestly didn't enjoy any of them, so I ended up switching to soda. Our server was kind, but he seemed stretched too thin and rarely checked on our table. My Mother's Day visit had similar issues, but the service experience was worse. Our server came across as rude and very blunt. We sat for quite a while before anyone took our order, and throughout the meal we constantly had to ask for bread, drink refills, and updates on appetizers because she barely checked in on us. The appetizers and food also came out late again. That said, the food itself was still really good both visits, and the restaurant maintained a nice atmosphere and clean environment. I genuinely enjoy the food here, especially the lamb chops, and I would absolutely return if they bring them back to the menu. I just hope management works on improving attentiveness, wait times, and overall customer service because that's really the only thing holding this place back from being a 5-star experience. read more

took my siblings here for their birthday. I called ahead since it was the weekend, and they told me they don't take reservations but to call 2 hours before to get on the waitlist. I did that, got the text, then a few minutes later it got canceled because I wasn't there yet. I called back and explained what I was told, and they fixed it. When I got there, the line was long, so I'm glad I did that ahead of time. Service was a little slow, and it seemed like they might've been short staffed. We had to wait for a lot of things, and they were out of quite a few items. My brother ordered chicken tenders and they later said they were out. They didn't have the sauce for the lamb chops, and I wanted mac and cheese without bacon but they didn't have that option. But the food we did get was really good. The lamb chops were good, this was my sister's first time trying them and she loved them. The spinach dip with pita bread was good, and the complimentary bread and mashed potatoes were good too. I ended up getting parmesan crusted fries instead of the mac and cheese, and those were good too. My siblings didn't really like the lemonades, but everything else made up for it. They also gave them a little birthday treat, which was really sweet. Overall, even with a few issues, we all agreed this is one of the best restaurants we've been to. The place was packed but we were super lucky to grab 2 open seats at the bar. We had amazing service. The bar crew definitely made this dinner enjoyable. They were so kind and attentive. And worked steady to keep the place clean and flowing. We opted for the mushroom appetizer and a cheese burger and added a side salad. The mushrooms were so yummy. This is such a lively spot to visit. If you don't make reservations and it's busy, check the bar for 1st come first serve seating. Tell the host to include the table tops for seating... it's not a given. Then order the ribeye with a parmesan cheesecrust... medium. It's Soooooo good! This is my first time going to this location. Longhorn never disappoints but this time unfortunately it did. I ordered two ribeye steak meals to go and ordered one medium and medium well, they were both made well done. The steak was hard to eat being overcooked which was a huge disappointment. I will continue to visit the falls church location and don't see myself coming back to the Woodbridge location. To top it off the broccoli was very mushy and over cooked as well. This is my first time at this location. It is clean and inviting. It was a great first impression. The exuberant joy at the front desk was infectious. It made me smile right off the bat. On a Friday, I expected a wait. Mercifully, we were early enough to avoid it. We were seated right away. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful. She came by and immediately checked on us. She brought us drinks and bread. We ordered an appetizer as we figured out what we wanted for dinner. We never had to wait very long for anything. She was on top of it all. Our waitress was a true professional. The food was so good. I admit, over the years, I always assumed a chain wouldn't get my steak temp right. For that matter, I learned to accept that the food might be pretty good, but never executed well. I stand corrected. The steak was cooked exactly as I requested. You may not think that to be a big deal, but I was grateful. It was phenomenal! The baked potato was perfectly cooked. I enjoyed every bite. The corn was divine. All in all, I finished as much food as I possibly could. I need to add something I noticed throughout dinner. The front desk was on top of things. They were watching the tables and managing the front desk. It was great to see such care. The other thing I noticed was the bus boy cleaning the tables. He was on top of it! My family came here to this location for the first time to celebrate my dad's birthday. It's a major level up from the Friday's that used to be here lolll. There were no hosts out front so we had to wait around a little to get seated, so in that moment I was sus. We ended up getting a great server, super nice girl. Instead of seating us so we could at least look at the menu, we had to stand in the doorway of the restaurant. When they finally sat us, we were rushed to order. I stopped at this Longhorn steakhouse branch in Woodbridge today for an early dinner and must say I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the food and also the service.. When I was seated at my table, a young waitress who introduced herself as Alize greeted me and brought me bread and my lemonade. She was polite and very pleasant I ordered their Longhorn 22 ounce steak, which said on the menu that it was a thick cut and well seasoned. She also told me I had a choice of two sides which included Brussel sprouts and house salad, which I ordered both to go with my steak. She brought my salad a few moments late and it was fine. But the emptied salad bowl stayed on my table for the entire time until I left, also there were breadcrumbs on the table which nobody bothered to come by and clear off the table. The steak I received was about maybe half inch thick, so I really wouldn't call it a thick cut and it was really of substandard quality because it didn't have the proper Texture and it was not really seasoned that I could tell. The brussels sprouts had been fried too much and they were breaking up and naturally enjoyable and by the way, I was charged an extra $2 for the supposedly included Brussels sprouts. Then he came to paying the bill on the table, I can pay my bill online. I went to pay the bill online and gave me a $12.71 discount with an end amount of $33.27 excluding gratuity-- I guess for using an online payment system but every time I tried to use it I was getting an error message saying "the requested total amount is lesser than the total payable amount" I wasn't not quite sure what that meant, so I tried multiple credit cards but at the same thing; so I asked Alize for help and she could not figure it out either. so I finally asked for a regular bill which was $41.45 and paid the full bill with a credit card. I came here on Valentine's Day so I expected it to be packed. I called ahead so that saved me some time on the wait which was nice. Once seated we were greeted by our server Elizabeth. She was so kind and helpful. She gave me great recommendations for food and drinks. To drink I got a strawberry margarita with a long pour. We started with the Wild West shrimp they were so good! Nice and crispy with a slight hint of spice. For my main I got the Outlaw Ribeye cooked medium rare with mashed potatoes and crispy brussel sprouts. Everything was perfection! My daughter accidentally left her black/white Kurt Geiger purse here. I called and was told the purse was there and they would put it up for me. When I went to pick it up all of a sudden they did not have the purse. So that lets me know that someone who works there stole the purse. Food- Longhorn is one of my fav chain restaurants as it seems to be the most consistent. Im not a big steak eater, but when I do, I'll be happy to eat @Longhorn. Went there on 12/20, we were seated and waited about 15 mins and no one came to take our order and we sat right next to kitchen entrance. I told my wife let's give them another 10mins but when I seen a couple that came 15mins later get seated and get served was enough so we got up and left!!! Poor service and when you are sitting right next to the kitchen entrance and no from the staff acknowledge you to at least say has someone taken your order!!! The worst experience in any restaurant. I knew there was trouble ahead when our server asked us what we wanted to drink. My friend asked for hot tea and I asked for unsweetened tea, no lemon and sweet and low. About 9 minutes later, I finally got the tea and there was very little ice. I asked for more ice and she told me that she could bring me another sweet tea. I told her that I had asked for unsweetened tea - why else would I ask for sweet n low. I asked her for more ice this time and she angrily picked up the glass and walked away. We ordered the small chicken bites with two ranch dressings and two sauces. 7 minutes later, they came with one ranch dressing and one hot sauce. Several minutes later, she came and asked for our order. My friend ordered the 6 oz. mignon and I asked for the chopped steak with salad and lots and lots of ranch and thousand island dressing and sweet potato and extra cinnamon and extra butter. Several minutes, our salads arrived with no dressing. I sat there for at least 8 minutes and no salad dressing. I finally had get up and go looking for our waitress. She was nowhere to be found. Another server happened to be passing by so I asked her. A few minutes passed and she gave me the salad dressing and almost shoved it in my face. Three minutes later, our steaks arrived and I had barely begun eating my salad. I continued to eat my salad and eventually ran out of tea. Our server passed by twice and didn't even bother to ask us if we needed anything else. I sat there hoping that she would come and ask if I wanted more tea. After 10 or 11 minutes of waiting, I went searching for her again. She was back in the back at the cash register and I asked if she could bring me some ice tea. She said that she would. Believe it or not, I waited another 6 or 7 minutes and finally got up again to go and get some. A few minutes later, she brought me ice tea. I had lost my appetite and asked for a to-go box. And yes, waited at least 7 or 8 minutes for it. She finally came by and asked if we needed anything else and I told her that we need a to-go box. She finally brought us our check and I asked for the manager. And yes, it was several minutes before he showed up. I explained to him for several minutes and he ended up telling me that she was new (a good manager would never allow a server on the floor unless they were well trained. But in this case, that wasn't the case. He apologized several times. She eventually came over and - believe it or not - asked if I wanted the extra salad dressing to take home with me. I asked her why would I need any more salad dressing since I had already finished my salad. That sealed my fate that she should have never been a server. When it comes to tips, I would have left her a tip of "don't smoke in bed" but I left a 10.00 bill, which I shouldn't have. We used to go Longhorn Steakhouse 6 or 7 times a month and have always loved the one in Woodbridge. But I would NEVER, EVER go there again and hope that no one else would. The worst service I have ever had in any restaurant - I have never had to get up not once but twice to ask for more tea. read more

This was my first time experiencing Longhorn Steakhouse's newest venue in Woodbridge, Va. It's located in the old TGIFriday's with adequate parking. The inside is very spacious with a small bar area. Customer service is A-1. Everyone is helpful and the wait staff overlaps each other to keep service running smoothly. Since Longhorn specializes in steaks I figured I go with that. I had the NY strip(medium rare), asparagus, and rice pilaf. The bread service was cool, came with a slightly sweet butter. I had a cup of lobster and corn chowder. It was tasty, I just wish the lobster pieces were bigger. My steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked as requested. It cut so easily. The asparagus was outstanding, firm, crunchy, nicely seasoned. The rice pilaf was very good as well. I washed my food down with 1/2 sweet and 1/2 unsweetened tea mixed. This was truly an outstanding meal. I will be back because I want to try the lamb chops. read more

Glad an amazing steak house came out to the eastern end of PW County to challenge Outback! Longhorn blows away OutBack in every category . I've had Outback 2's so far this month and both my wife's salmon and my Outback steak special just 2 days ago were a waste of money. My house salad was a huge disappointment, croutons were stale and salad greens ends were turning brown . My steak was overcooked, it was so tough, I had to try a different knife to cut a piece off and I was working for every bite. My wife's salmon was average at best, she felt it was undercooked and had to send it back for more cooking. 10 minutes later it came back out and it was cooked very well !! I guess it hurt someone's feelings on the cooking station, our server had apologized several times and we were expecting a visit from a manager but they must've been in the kitchen teaching their new employees how to prepare steaks and salmon . On April fools day we stopped in to give my wife a break from her having to cook. Once again I order a steak but this time I ordered a filet 8 oz and ordered it to be med well . It was 5 minutes past med well and to ruin a good cut of meat is unexpected and when I finally got my server, and showed him my steak his comment was, you asked for it to be well done didn't you? No, and I had to explain to him the difference between a well done cooked piece of meat and a med done well was a little pink, dry and no blood. So when he asked with an attitude if I wanted it to be recooked ? He said it was going to take about 15 minutes more to get it back out,. My wife have been done with her meal so I refused his offer and ate my meal with my wife. Again, the server never mentioned if I wanted to speak to a manager, which I was so miserable I may have made a scene an embarrassed my wife . The customer service here is above and beyond excellent. Our waitress was Milcah who was positive, attentive and upbeat as well as knowledgeable. The food was excellent, the freshest salads. I highly recommend the pork chops and the grilled salmon salad. Everything was delicious. They were incredibly busy but still able to be excellent. We've been twice, both for lunch. They have lunch specials on weekends, the fried chicken sandwich and fries were outstanding. The chopped steak with choice of side was amazing and my asparagus was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Right off the bat after calling ahead to put our names on the list, I arrived 5 min before the reservation was made when I went inside to check in I was told we were at the top of the list and that she was waiting for a table to leave and that we'd be seated next. She was extremely respectful and professional didn't get her name but she had blonde hair. Periodically my father went in and I as well to check up on it. After about 40 min. I went back in with my sister where I was met with another lady by the name as Joselyn. We asked about our table and she asked us the name. We gave the name and was told we had a few tables ahead of us which is not what I was originally told so I told her that the lady before her said we were at the top of the list. Joselyn proceeded very condescendingly with "if you would let me finish" and then stated that there were some call aheads. At this point it's well after our original seat time so we should've been seated long ago. I proceeded by saying "well we're a call ahead" and she let a rude sigh out and stated "if you would let me finish" so I said go ahead and she proceeded with "there are call aheads so we'll text you when your table is ready" I proceeded with "that is not what the other lady stated can I speak with her?" She responded with "sure but she's gonna tell you the same thing because I'm her manager" very condescendingly. And then proceeded to say "please step over here while you wait" I went out to get my mom and when my mom and father came in to get clarification, she then asked for the name from them and then clarified the party size since there was another party under the same name. After my parents specified the party number, Joselyn then proceeded to state that I never clarified the party number as If I was supposed to know there's another party under that name. I was met with animosity and unprofessionalism. She needs to be dealt with and retrained. I don't understand how someone like that can be in a managerial position with such unprofessional behavior. The restaurant JUST opened and is now on some bullsht. I will not be back at the result of how UNPROFESSIONALLY my concern was addressed. When we received our appetizers there was a hair in our spinach dip and I had to get up from my table to go to the bar to get my drink. Bar staff was very friendly bar manager extremely kind and professional when he came to try and resolve the issue with the spinach dip when my steak came out I previously stated that I wanted my steak charred and it was brought out un-charred. I complained about it and it was taken back immediately and brought out with a mountain of steak seasoning which was extremely heavily seasoned by this point I had lost my appetite completely. The entire experience overall was horrible. My server and a few others along with bar staff were great but I will NOT be returning. My grandmother had flown in from the Virgin Islands and the family just wanted to enjoy our pre Mother's Day lunch which quickly went down hill from the very start. If Joselyn really is the GM of this establishment, you need to reconsider her position at the establishment and find a replacement fast. read more

My husband and I enjoy everything about the Longhorn Steakhouse! In town for a month and dined at Longhorn in Woodbridge about 7 times. The days we dined were busy but worth the wait. The servers we on point and made sure we had our food and drinks in a timely manner based on the crowd. They will only get better with time!!! read more
