Edgar has been my barber since 2016 and I've know him personally since grade school. He has dedicated the past 4 years into becoming the creative, hardworking & reliable barber to his clients. Madrid's Barber Lounge was his vision...where people of all ethics can come and be pampered with a fresh cut, shave or lounge at their own pleasure. I highly recommend Madrid's Barber Lounge and their services!!

Edgar has been cutting my hair for the past year now and he's a tremendously talented barber. He's patient and detailed. His fades are consistent. The prices are reasonable and he's a genuinely nice guy. See the attached picture... His work speaks for itself.

Been meaning to review this place for a while. I'm be been coming to Madrid's for almost a year now and Edgar cuts my hair. Hands down the best barber I've ever been to. Edgar takes his time to make sure my hair looks perfect and never rushes. He is down right meticulousness when it comes to getting my fade just right. The atmosphere of the shop is super chill and very contemporary looking. usually some sports on the tv's but not decked out in tacky sports memorabilia which I like it because I think the whole sports theme is tired. Need to update operation hours and when they are open and not open. I scheduled an appointment online which went through successfully. When I went to the shop it was closed. Wasted time calling and checking social media if they were open. What a waste. read more

Literally one of the best barber lounges in the area!! There is absolutely nothing this lounge cannot do. I come here frequently for shaves and lineups and I'm always very well taken care of. Love this place! My boyfriend, Alejandro, has been going to Edgar for 6 years now. Before discovering Edgar my boyfriends hair has never Been lined up right Or have had his fade be consistent every time but after stumbling across him through a referral that I trusted it has always been perfect! It is extremely clean, which you can't t say about most barber shops, and to top if off he serves beer and occasional finger foods. I mean it doesn't get any better then that! My only advice is that he does get booked fast so you must book in advance. Client for life! read more

5 stars Awesome establishment I've always had issues finding barber shops that are decent and I came across this one went in last week for a cut went in with a lady named Mallory I was hesitant to go to another women from past experience but let me tell you she's dope she's very clean with the clippers I think I finally found a barber to consistently go too. ps there is another lady barber who does very good work I recommend this spot to anyone thank you Mallory you have a loyal customer now :) read more

They hide a hair stylist upstairs named Nikki who has very bad customer service. I had an appointment at 12:30 I texted out of curiosity I was behind 10 min. Nikki responds, "you'll be late... be here by 12:40 or I cannot take you anymore. I got there exactly 12:40 & texted her "Here" I called her to find out how to get to her suite and no answer. By time i got upstairs it was 12:44, she stopped me at the top of the stairs and said she could no longer take me because it was too late. Four minutes past her rigid timing. (there's limited parking & multiple businesses and salons who can find it quickly) Prior to this, Nikki had already given my appointment to someone else due to not sending a deposit of $75 same day. So this hair appointment was a long time coming and to just tell me you can reschedule, when I'm already there, I was her last client, for being 4 minutes past bc of the bad parking situation and not finding it quick enough after I arranged a babysitter tells me just how unprofessional some hairstylist can be! Beware of Nikki's UNPROFESSIONAL MANNERS of handling clients. Very poor customer service. For anyone reading this please let me know of a good hairstylist who cares for their clients. read more

I was looking for an old fashioned barber shop. I love the white coats and old fashioned feel. Music was awesome. Service was friendly. No complaints there. The complaints are on the actual haircut. If you're looking for a fade or any kind I'm sure these gents can do a stellar job. However, I was t looking for a fade. I have medium length curly hair and needed a trim and a shaping. That's where it all went wrong. The barber proceeded to comb through my DRY CURLY hair. I could hear the hair breaking and my butt basically coming I out of the seat from the resistance. Normally you'd think "hey, let's wet this hair and make it easier to comb". Nope! My hair was cut dry with product in it and resulted in the worst haircut of my life. I enjoyed the experience. The hot shaving cream on my neck. The hot towel. All do that was great but the cut it self was absolutely terrible. I got home to find random strands of hair about 3 inches longer than the rest of the hair and had to do some cutting of my own. If you want a scissor cut, go somewhere else. If you want a really good fade or taper and someone who is a master with the clippers, this is the right place. I won't be coming back due to the cut itself but the experience was nice and I still have to recommend this place due to the ambiance.
