I called TNT on a Wednesday at 0700. Tony answered the phone and I explained to him that we had an…read moreOLD gas water heater that was leaking and may have to be replaced. He clearly explained TNT's policies, warranty, price for the new heater, potential replacement parts and disposal of the old heater. When I asked about another brand, there was no hesitation on his part. I agreed with the price estimate and then came the moment that I was dreading --- When can you do it? Tony replied that he had a job that morning BUT he would be able to do it today!!! Heck yeah! Timing is everything. The family was not liking the cold showers, even with the hot weather. Tony was the consummate professional during the installation process with a very friendly attitude. Nothing bothered him. He fully answered all questions I asked. When I said an OLD heater, Tony confirmed that the code 0140 corresponded to the year and week of manufacture: 2001, week 40. 25 years ago.! Draining the heater turned out to be a big issue. A thick calcium deposit had formed on the bottom of the tank and it took awhile to drain the tank. But Tony handled it as the professional he is. Called PDS Plumbing and was told that it would take an hour to have someone come by ... they came on time. Very polite and friendly plumbers. They were able to tell me what the problem was and it was fixed in an hour. Also, they were able to fix the wax ring and replaced the stop valve. They gave me a fair estimate for the labor and materials. We definitely would recommend PDS Plumbing and if Jose and Gerardo come to help they were very clean and efficient plumbers.

They diagnosed the issue and checked on the availability of the part. The AC got noisier and stopped blowing cold air. We called early in the morning the next day and we talked options. Since the part was on back order and our unit is old and really already needing to be replaced we decided to replace the system. They were able to come the same day and do the install. Everything went smoothly and they had the new unit up and running quickly. We were impressed with their customer service and speed. I definitely plan to use them to service the unit in the future.
