Mark…read morecame out today to do a roof inspection on my tile roof and I mentioned that my main purpose was to have it cleaned and pressure washed before having an inspection done on it. I called ACS because they are experts with tile roofs. Mark was very honest with me about ACS not doing the cleaning of roofs any longer but, I was so grateful that he spent extra time giving me all of the information about my roof and who to call to clean it as well as what to look for when hiring someone. I just checked out the other reviews and with a couple of exceptions all those 5 stars reviews are written by people with an average of writing 2 reviews. But a few thousand is a few thousand, We are a budget family, only have one provider, my wife, I am on full Disability, so I try to help her with any thing I can, sometimes it hard due to my chronic pain, really takes it out of it, but she is Amazing.. ANYWAYS, back to this ROOF. lol "Davis Roofing", It came down to what ive researched , I narrowed it to 2 companies, "Davis Roofing" . I am very grateful that they took those massive boards/beams out, since they were really warp, so they replaced them, looks great like nothing happened or wasnt repaired. No charge , it was in our quote , so Im guessing they do that for all there customers, and part of there bussiness model , which is awsome and doesnt throw a wrench into the operation of the roof, and extra fees that is already expsive enough, lol... They really want to earn your business. And trust me they go the extra Mile for you. I could go on about there company and met with the owner, nice guy.. Work was scheduled two days after the contract was signed (6/17/26). The job included cleaning flashes and removing debris in valleys and roof-to-wall areas, replacing 4 broken tiles, replacing dry rotted plywood and fascia boards, and extending a downspout. The roof technicians Enrique (completed the majority of the work), and Tyler and Johnathan (wrapped up the remaining work - downspout) worked diligently in hot summer weather and completed quality work. Everyone I had contact with including the office personnel (Jennay) and estimate technician (Dustin) were courteous, polite and helpful in answering my questions. I was also appreciative that the company owner (Michael Davis) was very kind not charging extra for minor work. I won't hesitate to contact this company for any future roof needs.

We had True Roofing replace our single story roof on our vacation rental last month. While the…read morefinal job came out well, we did have some issues. We had 5 bids placed, and they weren't the most expensive, but they were definitely not the cheapest either. The salesman seemed knowledgeable and wasn't too pushy. The scheduling was pretty flexible and the communication was decent. However, the week the job started, the sales manager was out of town and didn't let me know. I had no contact person to determine how the job was going, and had no one sending pics or available to answer questions about possible damage and leaks from the previous roof that I had concerns about. I finally received an email (later in the week) from the owner minimizing my concerns and still not giving any contact info from someone actually on site. On Friday, he then lets me know (no call, just email) that the gutters hadn't been done because the machine broke, and would probably be the following week. I responded with guests would be there and we had limited time. The next day we see that men showed up to do the gutters (didn't tell me they were coming) with a rented machine. The final problem was Monday. I emailed the owner again and said I wanted to look over things before the final payment, and he said Monday was my last chance before the building inspector showed up, and I would have to be there early. So I took off work, drove up there for 9am and there was no one in sight. I got on the roof with my blower, only to discover the gutter guards were not installed. When the guys showed up about an hour later) I was told that I wasn't supposed to have them. I said check again, and then they realized their mistake. I also spent 45 mins blowing the roof and gutters off. I emailed the owner again asking for a phone call to discuss some issues, and he basically blew me off. I received a follow up call from the sales manager a few days later. He was apologetic, but also a little defensive when I pushed back on some of his arguments. There were no concessions made for the timing issues, missed items, or my time that was wasted. So, my take overall: roof install looks good, price was ok (on the high side), communication during the job was awful, and the customer service response post completion was poor.

My nephew who is a roofer in a different region reviewed all the quotes and said that Signature's was by far the most fair and thorough. Throughout the whole process, Kevin the owner was open and honest with how to get the most bang for my buck and didn't pressure me with any upselling. Upon hiring Signature, they were great at communication and were able to schedule me about a month out after I accepted their bid. Kevin came out and did a temporary patch prior to a big storm to make sure I didn't have further damage while waiting for my roof replacement. During the actual install, his crew was professional and friendly. One of the guys actually brought me tamales that his wife had made! They were very respectful of me, which is important to me as a woman living alone who needs to feel safe. The worksite was tidied after the job and they even did some minor stucco repairs.
