We had the roof replaced , had a downspout added and they also adjusted the gutters to be properly aligned and replaced the gutter guards to a finer wire to keep twigs and debris out . They also added a ridge vent . This is a small business and the owner does the estimates and is on the job. Jordan, the owner has 17 years of experience and is very knowledgeable. His price is reasonable. As he says, not the least expensive nor the highest. For us very reasonable for the quality of his work. Jordan and Highguard came recommended to me by a friend. Everything my friend had to say was accurate and then some. When we bought our house 3 months ago, our roofing inspector called out the fact that many of the cement roof tiles that had slipped off the curb along the edge of my roof. The inspector gave us an estimate for the repairs needed. Jordan's quote came in several hundred dollars under the original quote. When the day of work arrived, Jordan and his team of 4 arrived and got right to work repairing the issues. By lunch, not only were they done with the contracted work, but they had also replaced 7 cracked tiles (after asking for my approval to do so). I was so impressed by Highguard, I asked Jordan if he could give me a quote for one of my rental properties. Jordan was out at that property the very next day and had diagnosed the issues and brought many pictures to help me understand what was needed to repair that roof. I found Jordan this last August/September. I initially hired him to replace a skylight in an upstairs bathroom. He came, bid it, and did it perfectly. It was a short wait of a couple weeks only because i wanted a special order with dark as possible UV blockage and heat/cold loss. Our house was built in 1995. His work ethic if untouchable. When he does something, he does it with experience and quality craftmanship. While he was installing the skylight I asked him to get the roof valleys on the slate tile and take account of any broken tiles for repair after my painters were done walking all over it....Valleys really need to be maintained. He removed the tiles and cleaned the whole interior valley as was professional as Hell. His price was way reasonable for his knowledge and what he does. Fast forward a couple weeks and I'm still waiting to have weather clear enough to paint the exterior...( aka....Weather Forecasters not using terms like "Bomb Cyclone"...)... As the rain came, i noticed the gutter over my back patio was leaking again. I'm an idiot sometimes because for a couple years I just assumed it was gutter overflow. Well, it had the dreaded dry rot eves. i could put my finger through about a five foot section. So i call my roofer, Jordan....and I'm like bro....need you to come look at this....He comes and looks and gets on repairs....apparently the white aluminum pergola the last homeowner had mounted to roof actually went through tile and so over time it was jacked up. Jordan came and had to replace new primed eves over a 30 foot section and remounted the arbor correctly to the roof, then replaced reinstalled the tile properly. Jordan is BAD ASS... I wouldn't trust anyone else on my roof but Jordan and his crew. He seems young at first but the integrity and craftmanship are unbeatable and he does everything to code, the way they should be. The guy's a master in my mind. His prices are way fair...... He does EVERYTHING roof related. Can't recommend enough. Just remember, he's one guy and his crew. When rains come his phone rings off the hook so if you're expecting complete roof replaced tomorrow in December, that's not reasonable. read more

Jordan and his crew are top-notch. I had a good feeling about him when he came out to give us a bid on the roof, as he was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. The quoted price was very reasonable and once we signed the contract with him, he was able to squeeze our roof in between other jobs and got it done in three days. Along the way I had tons of questions, but he took the time and answered all without issue and kept me in the loop as the project progressed. He also went above and beyond to correct a number of issues found once the old roof was stripped off and kept me informed about each. There was some concern about the installation of my old gutter guards (that I installed), but he was able to make them work by finessing and reworking some issues from the prior roofer and the company that installed my vinyl siding. He could have easily dismissed the existing issues (Or charged extra to make them right) and said the old gutter guards wouldn't work (and sold me new ones), but he didn't, and I greatly appreciate his honesty and effort. Day two of the project had a 10% chance of rain that turned in to a 100% chance (It rained on and off), but Jordan and his crew were able to get the underlayment on and sealed up so there'd be no problems with leaks. At the end of each day, he and his crew cleaned up around the house and used a magnet to make sure any staples/nails were picked up (Our little dog appreciated it!). When they left for the day, you couldn't tell they'd been there. The roof looks amazing, and his workmanship is second to none. I consider Jordan and his crew craftsmen, and it was refreshing to deal with a contractor that was honest and actually cared about his work and the customer's satisfaction.
