I obtained a few estimates from different contractors, and they were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced with far better reviews than the cheaper option, which is another reason I chose them. Thomas is highly responsive to communication, which again is quite unusual with most contractors in my experience, so that was a nice plus too. They provided evidence of insurance upon request. We paid a 50% deposit to get on the schedule and I was able to pay that by credit card without an extra fee, which was appreciated since it allowed me to get reward points on the purchase. A crew of three guys came out to the house early in the morning and completed the job just before dark. They did a phenomenal job. Each step was documented with pictures to show where rotten decking needed to be replaced, and an explanation of everything. Despite already being reasonably priced, Thomas gave us a nice discount for the extra decking on the final invoice, which was a happy surprised and very much appreciated. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. If you need a new roof or any kind of roof work, Tom and Jerry Roofing is the best there is without a doubt!

Left their sign and never retrieved it. Workers were illegal and didn't speak English. Company had a Latino foreman finally show up (a phone call and 2 hours after the workers started) to translate to them. Really don't appreciate being tricked into paying illegals and non-English speaking people to work for us. Shitty!! They did clean up, although a few things were broken and not replaced. The price was $10,000. for a 1300 sf ranch roof. Seems high, but we received higher quotes with lifetime warranties. We did not receive a warranty certificate. We don't know how long the shingles and workmanship are covered for. This is a huge fail and both our parts. On the positive side, as far as we can tell, they did a good job on the roof.

Tell the truth, One of the owners would rather be employed as a nature guide in Alaska than run this company. I know this because the last time he visited my home, he spent a significant amount of time discussing his adventures in Alaska and how he could get me a great deal on a hiking trip there, completely disregarding my handicap and the fact that I use a walking cane. When I initially wanted to engage him for a roofing repair, it took him about six weeks to get back to me, and eventually, an active Repair was scheduled. Unfortunately, during those six weeks, the situation worsened, leaving me with a much larger problem. When I attempted to schedule him last year, we set an appointment. Afterward, I was unable to make that appointment and tried to reschedule. He was clearly irritated that I canceled and hung up on me. Since they are now undertaking large roofing jobs in other states, they are no longer interested in helping homeowners in this area in this area. Oh well. At least my very first interaction with them was decent.
