I had the most PERFECT experience at Maggi Bridal! This was only my second bridal shop and my search stopped there!! We went by Maggi after our first shop to check it out, not knowing it was appointment only. Kandice let us in and said that although there were no appointments available for that day, we could look around and set up another time to come in. Lucky for me she had a last minute cancellation and was able to take us right then! My sister, best friend and I chose a few dresses for me to try on and after the second one I had my sister call my parents to come back (they left after our first shop) because every dress was too perfect! By the time my parents arrived, I had a top 3 that I wanted to show them, knowing the last was my favorite. When I put the last one on we all started tearing up and I knew I had found my dream dress! Kandice was kind and helpful and made us all feel welcome and comfortable through the whole experience, even including the 2 little ones that were running around with us. I had a friend recommend that I try Maggi Bridal and I am so glad I did! If you are looking for a dress in the triangle, check out this boutique, you will not be disappointed! I called this shop to ask about making an appointment to look at their veils and belts. (I had already bought my dress elsewhere.) The lady I spoke with said I didn't need an appointment, and could come in whenever. I showed up that same afternoon, and was helped one-on-one by Victoria. I had brought my dress with me, and was able to try on their accessories with my own dress. Victoria was super helpful and kind, and so was every other sales associate there. You deserve better, please do NOT buy your Wedding Gown from Maggi Bridal! I tried on a dress mid-July 2017, that fit perfect. That same size 12 was ordered for me to arrive in December. A size too small was delivered and did not fit. I was promised by Katie of Maggi Bridal, the consultant scheduled with me when I first tried on the gown on 12/23/17, that the correct size 12 gown would be ordered. She had mentioned this was not the first time an incorrect sizing issue had happened at Maggi Bridal. I found out the order was never put in. I worked with Nicole, AKA Barry (the Consultant)) and Amy (the Owner), #1 they said Katie was not competent to order a new gown, #2 assigned blame on me for gaining inches/weight, #3 aggressively pushed me to take the incorrectly sized gown & said it was in my best interest to get it altered, and #4 refused to order another gown until I agreed to come in a 2nd time to try on the incorrectly sized gown. I came back in on 1/5/18. After much wasted time of being accused of inches/weight gain again by Nicole and even FaceTime with Amy, they finally agreed to send it back to designer. I had sent an email to Amy to state that there had been no major changes in my measurements (I shared approximately 6 months of measurements) and to verify the timeline the designer needed with my gown. I never received a reply email from Amy, which later on 5/3/18 Nicole stated this was unprofessional and she should have responded. I called Maggi Bridal to verify email address was correct and after speaking to Kaitlyn, Lauren, & Nicole on 1/10/18, I received a verbal confirmation that Amy had received my email. I called Nicole and Amy on 1/16/18 & again Nicole on 1/17/18 to finally find out that the designer verified the incorrect gown size 10 was sent. Eventually, a gown size 14 was ordered. I was told by Nicole a size 12 was going to take too long to be produced. I initiated every single phone call from the moment it was identified that the incorrect gown size arrived. I even had to call to confirm the 2nd gown had arrived in their store at the end of April 2018! I brought home that gown on 5/3/18. Our wedding is toward the end of September 2018, it will take 2-3 months for me to get my gown back from alterations (this is a typical timeline received from 3 companies I've spoken to). I had to cancel my bridal portraits that I had paid a deposit for and won't be reimbursed nor rescheduled due to my photographer already being booked with other brides. Not on one occasion, before 5/3/18, did anyone from Maggi Bridal apologize nor make me feel that the incorrect gown size was their responsibility. On 5/3/18 I was pushed on getting out of my wedding gown within moments of putting it on and there was absolutely NO discount offered to me. Nicole made it apparent that there had been no conversations internal to Maggi Bridal or with the designer to compensate me for having to wait an additional 3 1/2 + months to receive the 2nd Wedding Gown! After myself & soon to be Mother in Law asked, Nicole stated on 5/3/18 she would call the designer to try and get me a discount on or before 5/17/18. I assure you I have not received a phone call. I give this store (and Nicole especially) a HUGE thumbs up!!! I didn't come in for a dress, I came in for measurements to be taken for a custom dress with another seamstress in a different state. They were very prompt with responses through email/wedding wire, first vendor to respond to me and they were quick with follow up responses to all my questions and also were the cheapest in terms of price for measurements to be taken. I arrived 15 min earlier than my appointment and I didn't have to wait. Nicole took my measurements, and explained what would be the best fit in terms of measurements so I could relay the information to my seamstress. When I asked about alterations, she gave me the information to a great seamstress they work with. I also heard one of the employees being attentive to another bride who was there as well. I was blown away by the customer service I received from Nicole when I wasn't even buying a dress there! (Which by the way, they had a lot of beautiful dresses on site, I'm just going with a non-traditional purple gown) and I was in and out before my appointment time! I had such a relaxing, wonderful experience at Maggi Bridal. After visiting 8 other dress stores and feeling pressured to pick a dress or being disappointed by the service, I was starting to become a bit deflated. When I arrived a Maggi, I was promptly greeted by a wonderful bridal consultant, Victoria. After talking about what I was looking for, Victoria allowed us to look around and pull gowns, while she too pulled some. The dressing area was very large and pretty. Victoria actually picked the dress I ended up buying. My mom was unable to come and Victoria was very patient while I FaceTimed her. Something I really appreciated about Maggi was that they honored the budget they were told and didn't try to push you towards a dress. I had such a wonderful experience at Maggi Bridal! The first store I went to was underwhelming and I just didn't feel how I thought I was supposed to feel when trying on dresses. The next weekend I went to Maggi and Laura was amazing! She picked a dress that I wouldn't have tried on if left to my own devices and it was THE ONE!!! I simply cannot say enough good things about my experience with Maggi. I planned my wedding in 3 months and they not only got my dress in on time they altered it with a week to spare. During my experience I never felt rushed or like I was inconveniencing them. Their customer service is impeccable. I worked with Laura and Amy and they are both such a delight. Let me first start by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed working with Kaitlin. She really understood my vision and helped me design my own dress. She was pleasant and helpful in each of our conversations, in person and on the phone. However, my last dress fitting was scheduled for the end of January, just a few short weeks before my wedding. I got a call the week before my appointment saying they needed to reschedule because my seamstress created a conflict with her second job at my expense. This was irritating and stressful with my wedding quickly approaching but I did try to work with them. I had to travel to make these appointments happen and a weeks notice did not give me a lot of time to meet their scheduling needs. They told me that my MOH needed to be there to help with the bustle so she could do that the day of the wedding, however, mine was coming from DC to make this appointment so we only had a few days to work with. I had emailed them and didn't hear back for 2 days about scheduling the appointment. In fact, at the time I emailed them we had been playing phone tag for the whole week. They finally informed me of how I could fit into their schedule with my original seamstress. When we showed up to the appointment, my seamstress wasn't there and my appointment wasn't scheduled with Kaitlin like it had always been. I was told that I would be working with the owner, Amy. I initially thought that this was an opportunity to voice my grievances about this scheduling mishap but I was extremely wrong. She was very cheerful but she also seemed uninformed about my fitting, which she blamed on being based out of their Asheville location. I didn't find that to be a valid excuse. Once I got into my gown, I noticed that my dress was incomplete and this was supposed to be my final fitting! Then Amy was trying to show us how to bustle the dress and she couldn't even find all the clips. She told us that the seamstress wrote down that there were 9 but she could only find 8. At this point, I didn't like the tone in which Amy dictated to my MOH as to how she could wear her nails to my wedding because of how inconveniently the bustle was crafted. This was one of the main reasons the seamstress needed to be at this appointment. It turned into such a hassle, my wedding party and coordinator couldn't bustle the dress so I was forced to do without. In the middle of our fitting, she got into a heated discussion with her mother who I suppose is either employed by her or co-owner. At the end of the fitting Amy requested that we return for yet another fitting so I could see the finished product I was promised which was the purpose of this appointment. I was unable to come back because finding another day that worked for my MOH and I was impossible. Amy blamed my seamstress for not getting the job done on time even though Maggi Bridal had allowed the conflict to arise as well as making the decision to remove the alterations department in 2018. This should have had no bearing on my dress because the business had agreed to complete this product in November of 2017. Amy used many excuses and owned up to none of the issues that were caused by her business. I left feeling completely uneasy going into the final weeks before my wedding. She told me that they would fix the dress and that she would have them email me pictures of it. Maggi Bridal didn't follow through with the pictures, I had to call them to get them emailed to me. When I picked up my dress and veil the day before the wedding, I found out that my veil had a huge snag in it. They offered to replace it with another one but my veil was designed from my mothers veil and we used parts of it to create mine so that was just out of the question. I will say that they did reimburse me for the entire veil the following week. My experience was great up until my final fitting but the stress of all this so close to my wedding is the reason for only giving 3 stars. read more

For such a nice establishment you would think they would have better customer service than they do. When you order a dress from them and ask them to call you and not your bride when your dress arrives, and give you more than a few hours notice you expect that to be a simple request. Apparently it is not however. Not to mention when they are rude and obnoxious to you and refuse to give you an explanation further than "I don't know", you do not get the level of customer service that should be mandatory at an establishment such as this. Unfortunately I did not have a very good experience at Maggi Bridal this past Saturday. Let me start by saying that I am a little insecure, especially with being the center of attention and my body, and this was in fact a very vulnerable setting for me. I am 100% comfortable with everyone I brought with me, so this was not the issue. Thank goodness they were there. I'm not the type to write bad reviews period, in fact this is the first ever for me. But after my experience I feel that it's important that I am heard. Before I go any further, Lauren was wonderful, kind, and made me feel comfortable. She was a pleasure to work with and is very fit for this job! I wanted to hug her. She is not who I will be referring to in this review. The other woman, I believe Nicole (written on the card, but not sure if she handed me another lady's card) made me feel rushed the entire time and even talked me out of trying on dresses I really wanted to at least try on and see that we had pulled from the racks. (There is still one I sooo wish I at least tried, total regret of listening to her) She made me feel like I was wasting her time and was clearly checked out for the day. Given, it was a 5pm appt. and they usually close at 5pm, but please do not offer me or anyone the 5pm appt. if you are going to act like this and are not willing to actually be helpful or kind about it. It was my first time trying on dresses and I was actually excited even though "fancy" isn't my thing. I was hoping to be able to find cuts and styles that complemented my body and style. She would ask me questions in a way and with facial expressions and tones that were geared to make me change my mind (because she clearly wanted to go home), even though I felt the opposite. But I am a kind and non-confrontational person and did not want to "step on her toes" or upset her, I like people to be happy, so I did what she suggested even though it was not at all what I wanted, because I felt like she wanted to be done with me. Anyway, I felt rushed the entire time, like I was wasting her time, not appreciated or special, and when I was basically pushed out the door at the end, I went home and cried in my fiancé's arms for the remainder of the evening. I, my mom, my 2 best friends, and my sister could not believe how we were treated and how rude the customer service was for us. This is not how this once in a lifetime experience should go. Wedding dresses are not cheap, and I refuse to buy from someone who treats people that way and acts like they don't care. I loved one of the dresses and have seriously been considering it, but will definitely not be buying it solely because of my experience. I will say this woman was good with asking questions like "what do you like about this dress, what don't you like about it", etc. to help me realize my likes and dislikes. So there's that. And the dresses were beautiful and they had a good selection. I waited to write this review because it was my first time dress shopping, but I have since been elsewhere and it was a complete 180 on experience and the way the staff made me feel. I'm not sure if she was just having a bad day, but she definitely ruined mine and my first experience dress shopping. I left there with no hope and feeling totally defeated. I have since read more reviews for Maggi Bridal and do see that others have had similar experiences here. Maybe this is something that should be looked closer into. Or, just don't offer appointments past the time you and your team are happy to. I would have happily rescheduled for a time that works better for everyone involved. I hope others have happier experiences! UPDATE: Just to be clear: my friends said NOTHING about my body to make me feel uncomfortable or about the way the dresses looked. They only had positive remarks. My party was not over the recommended size limit (per your website, it says you have space to accommodate 5 people, we had 4). My party was not overly excited or any more so than one would be for their daughter, sister, or best friend trying on her first wedding dresses. Nor did they take away any time from trying on dresses or hinder any of my decisions. We ate nothing and drank champagne only after we were given permission to do so (I even mentioned it when we first walked in and was told we could have some towards the end of the appointment, not to leave it in the car which we would have done if we were asked to). And there was certainly no "misinterpretation" of your consultant's behavior. She was a bit rude and condescending. She made every single guest feel this way. And it looks like other have had very similar experiences according to other reviews. So no, this was most definitely not a "misinterpretation." This appointment compared to the several others I have now been to was completely unsatisfactory. I have been to several bridal shops in the area and while all of them have beautiful dresses I was struggling to find the perfect dress. Maggi Bridal was amazing and in addition to gorgeous dresses, their customer service puts them above and beyond any other store. My consultant was Morgan, and she was wonderful! She was friendly and made me feel welcome and relaxed as soon as I arrived. She was clearly very knowledgeable about the dresses in the shop as well as quickly understand what I was looking for and what dress worked best with my style. As I tried on each dress Morgan asked me all the right questions, showed me different dresses etc. to help me narrow down exactly what I was looking for in a dress and to visualize what I wanted to look like on my wedding day. At no time during my appointment did I ever feel rushed, or pressured into buying a dress. I was unable to have anyone join me for the appointment but working with Morgan (and Pamela too) they made it feel like I was shopping with friends as they gave me great advice and I felt they really cared about finding a dress I loved. THE best bridal salon in Raleigh!!! The consultants are all wonderful and truly listen to what you want. They also don't suggest anything unrealistic and remain in your budget. I knew the exact dress I wanted when I went to Maggi Bridal which had already been pulled for me, but my consultant also sat with me and listened to what I was looking for so we could pull some similar dresses. We tried on the dress I came for first and I knew right away it was it. Maggi Bridal has a great selection and takes great care for their consultants to be knowledgable about all of their dresses and which dresses will be appropriate given the alterations your body type will require for a dress. They are expanding their designers but I think they have done it very smartly instead of having an insane amount of dresses right off the bat, they have been consciously growing their collection so all of their staff remain intimately familiar with the dresses so the customer is best served. I went to one bridal salon prior to this and it was a hectic experience with terrible customer service and the girls did not know their stock very well. My entire Maggi Bridal experience was 100% better than the other place. Amy and Laura are so on point and truly want a good experience for every single one of their brides! It feels so personalized here and you get the very intimate and special bridal feel no matter what your price range is. I had such a perfect experience at Maggi Bridal. Having never been bridal dress shopping before, I was very nervous and skeptical that I would find something I liked on my first try. Bethany was very helpful, asking specific questions about my style, ideas and budget. She took extra care to guide me through the dresses and designers and to keep me away from dresses out of my budget. We pulled 10 or so dresses, and were taken to a very intimate dressing area. My friends had lots of comfortable seating options and a great viewing area. Bethany made me feel very comfortable and helped me into all the dresses, telling me things about the dresses that had drawn me to them. The very first one (Bethany actually picked it out for me) was my dress. I continued to try on the others, but I knew I felt different in the first dress. I received a 10% discount for purchasing the dress on the same day, but honestly, the discount didn't sway me. We were allowed to come back later in the day so that my future MiL could see the dress for final approval. Katelyn worked with us for this appointment and she was just as much help and fun as Bethany had been. I would definitely recommend Maggi to any other bride, especially if you have a history of anxiety or indecisiveness! read more

Maggi Bridal is truly the best bridal salon in the Raleigh area. I went to a few others, but am so glad that I found the dress I loved at Maggi. On the day of my initial appointment, I was treated like the most important person in the store. The consultant who helped me discussed what I liked and disliked. She let me look around and pick some to try on, and then she picked some of her choices for me. I ended up falling in love with a beautiful Justin Alexander gown that they had just put on the floor that morning - talk about fate! But where Maggi really shines is in their alterations service. Amy and the team made sure my dress fit perfectly. When my final fitting revealed a few problems, they vowed to fix them and made sure that I could come in and try the dress on one more time before the wedding to be absolutely sure. Even though that might be panic-inducing for many brides, I knew Amy and the whole team at Maggi would make it perfect. I had booked an appointment with Maggi online and called and confirmed that I was going to be there at 4. Once I arrived, I was rudely told that my appointment was not booked because they had not checked their emails lately. The lady then stated that they don't make 4 o'clock appointments because they close at 5 (it says 6 online) even though I had just called and confirmed that my appointment was good for 4! I had been to several other places looking for a bridesmaid dress for my twin brothers wedding that is in Brazil in November. I made an appt at Maggi's Bridal. I was super excited when I found my dress with one of the co-owners Amy. I received great customer service during the buying period... Long story short I need a lot of alterations because I am very busty. The owner told me that they typically don't do bridesmaid alterations in the store (especially during the fall wedding season) but because of how much work I need done she would make a note in the computer and make it happen... So I made my appointment and then they called and said they would not do any alterations bc they only do bridal gowns. Follow through was not the best. I wouldn't believe everything they say. If you are looking for a wedding dress it might be different but I was disappointed when they told me one thing and then didn't follow through. Be cautious when buying a bridesmaid dress. read more

I recently purchased my wedding dress from Maggi Bridal and I could not be happier with my choice! Maggi Bridal was my last stop while shopping for wedding gowns. I had done some research before my appointment and knew that I was very interested in Maggi Bridal's Lillian West gowns. When I visited Maggi Bridal, I fell in love with one Lillian West gown they had in their store, but I was still eyeing another one I had seen online. Even though Maggi Bridal did not have that one I saw online in their store, they agreed to order a sample for me provided that I pay the shipping cost. In order to be sure of my decision, I decided to order the sample dress I saw online and come in for a second appointment to compare both dresses I was considering. My stylist, Sarah was incredibly patient with me and offered helpful feedback as I went back and forth between both dresses. In the end, I picked one of them and I'm so happy with my decision. I understand treating your brides is of the up-most importance but treating the bridesmaids like they are beneath you and the bride is disrespectful, snobby, and downright unprofessional. I have been a bride and glad I did not choose this place to represent my big day. I experienced employees talking bad and rudely about another bride and bridal party, the staff doesn't bend over back for bridesmaids they barely bend over at all. The staff only wants their money and doesn't care to let you try on the dress or make you feel as all like you are the customer. More like you are here to serve us and we are doing you a favor. I visited Maggi Bridal this afternoon to look at wedding dresses. I didn't have any trouble booking the appointment and even though I arrived a few minutes early they were very pleasant and showed us where we could have a seat to look at the designers books. After a few minutes Barbara, our consultant, greeted us and asked a few questions about the dresses I was interested in. We grabbed a few gowns and headed to the dressing room. Each bride had their own private area so you weren't side by side with strangers as you are discussing your bridal gown. It was beautiful and she was a wonderful consultant. She actually cared about me finding a dress I genuinely loved not just selling one. I will definitely be back to try on more gowns and would recommend Barbara to anyone! read more

My brother and his fiancee recently got engaged, and decided they basically want to have their wedding ASAP. His fiancee sent me a list of Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses she wanted me to pick and choose from. I looked online and there were only 2 bridal shops in my area that have Alfred Angelo dresses. The other place that carried them was super rude on the phone and asked me to email them a list of the dresses and they'd let me know if they had the dresses. I emailed them and never heard back. Didn't really care b/c by their attitude on the phone I didn't want anything to do with them. My consultant, Lilah, was great. She already had my dresses pulled to the side for me to try on. I'm honestly not a huge fan of shopping in general so I was thrilled that she actually had these dresses pulled and ready for me to try on. My only complaint about the customer service is I submitted an online request to schedule a Saturday appointment ( I work 8am-6pm M-F), and someone replied stating the Saturday I requested (4/16/16) wasn't available but the following Saturday (4/23/16) was. I told them if they couldn't get me in any earlier I'd take it. This was on 4/12/16. Since I hadn't heard anything I emailed again on 4/14/16 still didn't hear anything. I also had left 2 voice messages asking that some one call me back, never heard back. Finally on 4/19/16 I received an email that the 23rd was full and that my emails sent went to their SPAM mail. In the end I picked out a bridesmaid dress and paid $20 extra for a rush order. Other than the scheduling conflict and lack of communication in that area I was very pleased with Maggi Bridal. read more

I went into the bridal shop today and I tried on a few gown that did not meet my needs. I also told the female who was helping me a designer I was interested in after telling her I didn't like the ones I had tried on she told me that the designer I was looking for was poor quality (mori lee designs) and made brides itch and that I might want to try savi across the street I told her that that was prom rental shop not my taste. I was highly offended and mind you nothing in Maggi's was over my budget. Also she asked why I had scars that were exactly alike on my back well if that wasn't tacky and unprofessional. I worked with Nicole at Maggi Bridal this past weekend in hopes of finding my dream wedding dress. I don't live in Raleigh, and we were working with a major time crunch as I'm getting married in a few months, but Nicole stayed positive, calm, and professional from start to finish and gave me a really fun and memorable experience. Nicole worked really hard to listen to the styles that I seemed to be drawn to, while being attentive and kind to questions that my parents and future mother-in-law were asking. My mom even snuck in an extra dress to try on and Nicole was a really good sport. She was so thorough, and gave me and my family plenty of time to view and take as many pictures as we liked of the dresses I tried on (can't say that for other bridal shops in Raleigh). While discussing my dress options, Nicole was behind the scenes figuring out order and shipping timelines and other critical details in hopes of getting my dress in time to do 3 fittings before November. I was torn between 2 beautiful gowns, but Nicole had a sense of which one I was really leaning toward so she put me in a veil and I immediately had that "aha!" moment...the one where you see your partner waiting for you at the end of the aisle. It was truly a magical moment. I was bawling, parents bawling, everyone's bawling so it was a major success! Nicole-you are brilliant at what you do. My experience at Maggi Bridal was definitely unique, and a testament to how wonderful Amy is. I don't live in North Carolina, and I had already purchased my wedding dress elsewhere. My mom wasn't there for the big moment, however, since we live far apart, so while we were in Raleigh visiting my sister, she wanted to see me try on a few dresses to get the "experience" before doing bridesmaid dress shopping at Maggi bridal. Amy could not have been kinder to us. Even though she knew that I already had a dress, she helped us pick out some dresses in the style I liked. After I tried some beautiful dresses on, though, it was clear that I had already fallen in love with my original dress. Amy actually let me bring my dress into the store and try it on in front of the big mirrors (which I'm sure was a first). My dress has cherry blossom-like flowers on it, and when Amy saw it she immediately thought of a veil that was an absolutely perfect match. The veil had little flowers along its edges, similar to the ones on my dress, and when I put it on the flowers looked like they were falling off of my dress and following me as I walked around. It was perfect. My family and I had our teary-eyed moment, and Amy said I was glowing. She also helped us with bridesmaid and flower girl dresses and knew the perfect fabric to compliment my dress.
