They only take so many appointments at one time so it's very personal and not a mad house compared to other popular bridal shops. As someone who gets overwhelmed easily this was such a relief. My associate Riley was such an angel, I could tell she really cared about my experience and made me feel heard and helped me articulate different things about the dresses to narrow down what I did or didn't like. She and the other associate who popped in occasionally (I didn't catch her name, but she was so wonderful to) really helped me get into dresses and made sure they looked right on me, and as a plus size bride with fewer options typically, they really did a wonderful job. They made me feel like I belonged and was deserving of a great experience and beautiful gown which meant a lot to me. They ran around pulling gowns, showing me skirts and using fabric to change the color - it was really cool and fun! I am so glad we went with this shop and they should be proud of how they train their employees, they were genuinely so so kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I can't thank them enough, and would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a truly individual, private, and well rounded shopping experience.

We tried on a few dresses and found one I really liked! I wasnt sure I would find "the one" so quickly so we went to a few other stores, and ended up coming back at the end of the day to order the dress! They took my measurements and recommended that I order the dress custom cut from the designer, which was a great suggestion (less work altering the dress). I received the dress a few months later and set out to have it altered. Once that was done, I took the dress back to Maggi Bridal were they steamed at no cost to me.

I agreed, trusting they could deliver. The first appointment went smoothly. I was told they'd start with altering the top of the dress, since upper changes can affect the length. That made sense. At my second fitting, I had to wait over two hours past my scheduled time with no courtesy call or explanation. When I was finally seen, I noticed no alterations had been completed on my dress. We scheduled a third appointment, but less than a month out--and despite it being booked over two months in advance--they canceled it on me. Because they only offer fittings on Wednesdays and Thursdays, I had to take yet another day off work to reschedule. At my final appointment, I was told there were still "a few more things" that needed to be done--despite being promised in writing that everything would be finalized that day. The alterations manager then promised it would be finished in 1 hour while I waited. I waited for another hour and 40 minutes while last-minute work was done on my gown. Keep in mind--they charge extra for more than 3 fittings. At the end of the appointment, I asked what they could do to make this right, given the missed deadlines, poor communication, and stress they caused. I was told, "There's nothing we can do. We don't set the alteration pricing--the seamstress does." There was no "Let me check" or "Let me talk to someone." Just a flat no. After some back and forth, I let it go, signed the documents, and left. Less than five minutes later, they called to say, "We can offer you 10% off,"--but also added that they forgot to charge me and would be sending an invoice. The discount was appreciated, but it doesn't come close to making up for the disorganization, time lost, or stress I endured. The alterations also cost half the price of the dress. I do NOT recommend Alexia's Bridal. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. This experience sadly took the enjoyment out of planning my wedding.

It took 9 months for our dress to arrive and that was with me calling and texting. In speaking with two of my other friends who also used Alexia's they had the same issue with the dress coming in at the last moment. They also knew others who had the same issue. So apparently it is not an isolated event. Even though they say you should leave several months for alterations. If I had not complained multiple times about needing the dress by December they would have had the dress come in sometime in February (what they told me) and that would have only given me a month for alterations. By their standards alone that would not have given us enough time to get everything done unless we rushed it. Lastly they seem very selective on the warm and fuzzy greetings when you go there. We were not on the receiving end of the warm greetings. Having said this we did receive the dress and it was beautiful. When you are buying a beautiful expensive gown they need to be a little more pleasant and work on making this day feel special. We just didn't feel any of that.

They really think of everything to help you prepare for the appointment and enjoy the appointment itself I had Pooja as my consultant and she was fantastic. She truly listened to what I liked and disliked about different dresses to help curate a selection of dresses to try on. She kept the appointment flowing smoothly and adapted quickly as I came to realize what I actually wanted in a wedding dress. She was incredibly personable and easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I am super stoked for my dress to come in in a few months and would recommend this bridal shop to any future brides! A and Be is where it is at!

Fine, I assume it's going to be a really nice experience and that it would be worth the fee. I was very wrong. This was my best friend's third and final shop to try on dresses at and by far the worst experience. The appointment was in total 20 minutes. We were told we could look around and pick, or the stylist could pick. After asking a few questions we chose the stylist choosing them since she knows the inventory best. Well she chose mostly styles that weren't quite the vibe we were going for which was totally not her fault, so I went to look since the bride really wanted to try some things more within her style. I was told very rudely by someone at the front that I needed to go back to my "suite" because other people are trying things on. First off, there was literally nobody there at that time and I was not even close to other people. Secondly, there's a way to say something. Third, another group of girls was fully standing in our "suite" while my best friend was trying on dresses. So that's hilarious. Also the space is extremely small. So calling them suites is a joke. We drove an hour away for a 20 minute appt. It seemed like the stylist found out my friend lived in another state and had found a dress she really liked elsewhere and really tried to rush us out. Overall an extremely awkward and quick experience which is so disappointing. Would absolutely not recommend this place. Wish I could get my 25 bucks back.
