The place is beautiful and love tge old classic music. Its a great place for groups or a romantic date night. The server Hilary was very patient and friendly. She gave great service. We had a few special requrst with our our orders and they delivered. I ordered a pasta with bolegnase sauce. It was okay but tasted more like a regular meat sauce . So was kinda disappointed. But ut still tasted well. She did say tgat had a special meme for tgat time for select appetizers. We ordered tge calamari. The breading was nice and light and it tasted very good. I have been to a few Italian places in my time and sayy they are a bit pricey for what was ordered. I have no issue paying alot for good food but it was nothing that blew my mind. Which is why I go but not out of my way for. But if if you want or crave Italian food. I still do recommend.

Maggiano's little Italy was very good. I went specifically for the chicken Parmesan, however I was stuffed by the time it came because the bread was so filling and for an appetizer I ordered the calamari. My overall bill with taxes and tip was approximately $65. I would definitely go again and try another dish. I was there at 11:30 in the morning just when they open for lunch so the ambience was very quiet and calm. It wasn't too many people at the restaurant.

This was our first time back in many years and for the most part, we were happy. The restaurant is currently decorated nicely for the holiday season and they were occasionally playing some festive music as well (although it would play for a little...and then stop). We were seated quickly with a reservation and had no issues with that. Once we got seated we started talking about how they used to bring out bread, and noticed no other tables had bread. Because of this we assumed that they stopped bringing our bread, but after reading the reviews it seems like we got jipped! For appetizers we got the zucchini fritte. These are still delicious and we loved them! They are so yummy and one of our favorite appetizers here. While the price for them has nearly doubled, they are still worth it. For entrees we got the vodka rigatoni, eggplant parm, mushroom ravioli, and rigatoni D. What is nice about the rigatoni D is that they can make it without chicken. Our waiter asked us if I wanted to add veggies to the vodka rigatoni, but failed to mention that there is an additional charge for that. We were surprised by that in the bill and it would have been nice to know that before hand. For all of the pastas the portion was huge! We had tons of leftovers. The eggplant parm was delicious and we were glad to see it back. The rigatoni D was also delicious. The mushroom ravioli was pretty good, but the vodka rigatoni was a little disappointing. It tasted less like vodka sauce and more like a marinara sauce with a hint of vodka sauce. I would not get that pasta again, but the rest I would. For dessert we got the tiramisu, and as it was my parents anniversary, a little dessert was brought out for them too. The tiramisu was delicious and the little lemon cookies were a nice treat. My only other complaint is that the service itself was ok. We had to ask for our water to be refilled after waiting a while, and there was a long wait between the appetizer and main course.

Not good. Ordered Spaghetti with oil and garlic. Got buttered noodles. Also asked for Al dente got it over cooked. Pasta was cut into small pieces and the salmon is white and clearly frozen. WTF!

This place is huge and caters to all kinds of birthday parties, business parties/meetings and just regular dining. Besides the main dining room, there are four or five individual rooms holding five or more tables Gregory our server was very experienced of 8 years. He might be the only server that I have met that has a PhD. There were 12 people in our birthday party. It's hard to say who had what and how was their experience, though it appeared that everyone fared well. The appetizers were abundant and good. My branzino was excellent with roasted asparagus and mashed potatoes. I felt the fish portion could have been larger for the price. The individual rooms were nicely decorated. Staff was very polite.

More servers, hairnets or hair tied up, no sunglasses on servers, food came out late, food was inconsistent with portions all different, some had green lettuce, I had bitter yellow lettuce, croutons in cesar salad were soaked and not at all crunchy. Somone next to me had seven asparagus, I had three! Pasta dish was nasty: no one ate much of it at all.

Maggiano's is great! Beautiful restaurant with good ambiance. Pleasant staff, clean, nice bar area and a good location. Our server was Jazmine A. and she was excellent! Jazmine A. was attentive, talkative and helpful with our meal selection. She had great suggestions which one was the zucchini appetizer and it was delicious. Another was the chicken piccata which I had for my dinner and was delicious as well. Thank You Jazmine A. and Thank You Maggiano's for another great meal and evening! Hollywood Mike 2025!

Food tastes well. Service is fair. Ambiance is relaxing. Tables are moderately spaced between other tables. Parking space is not as appropriate to how many tables they have inside so if it is peak time then you are going to park further or worse no parking would be available as they share parking space with other tenants. See images for further reference. Restroom is filthy and smelly. High chair seen. Ramps also seen for wheelchairs. They have conference rooms/rooms for rent for occassions.

My favorite Italian Chain restaurant. The food is always good and the service is spot on, even when it gets crowded and busy. The motiff is your typical Italian family restaurant. You have the dark wood furniture and fixtures, white table cloths, etc. It may be cliché, but it's always welcoming. The portions are big. You will always get your fill. It's worth coming back to!

The food was made quickly and the portion sizes did not disappoint! The tiramisu was so so good, I would go back just to get that. There's also a good amount of parking in the area and they take reservations so getting here and getting a table was easy. Service was great, would definitely recommend.

The food is fantastic, and the variety on the menu is impressive. The chef clearly knows what they're doing because every single dish we tried was genuinely delicious. It's the kind of spot where you can't go wrong: date night, dinner with friends, or anything in between. We brought our own bottle and had a great time. Our waiter was super knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. The staff even joked around with me when I forgot my to‑go bag, and yes, I absolutely took it home because the food is that good. I also appreciate that they don't act like offering takeout is beneath them; even the takeout bag was nice. I honestly wish my meals were this good every night. I hope everyone who works here is paid well and enjoys what they do, because they're running the place exactly how a restaurant should be run. Luca's Ristorante is a hidden gem that proves you should never judge a restaurant by its parking lot. Not long after we were seated, we were greeted by Luca -- a Luca and not the Luca. Still he was warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about his restaurant, taking the time to walk us through the menu and checking in throughout the meal without ever hovering. Luca's has a partial liquor license, offering a modest wine selection but is otherwise being BYOB. As we were told with a smile, they're much more interested in what's ON your plate than what's IN your glass. We started with two excellent appetizers. The arancini, already a family favorite, were crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and disappeared from the table faster than anyone was willing to admit. The Polpette, Luca's signature meatballs with pine nuts and raisins, certainly earned the praise they've received from NJ.com as some of the best in the state. Even if raisins in meatballs sound unusual, trust the process. The restaurant proudly calls itself "A Taste of Ischia," the beautiful volcanic island in the Bay of Naples, and the seafood absolutely lives up to that promise. My squid ink pasta with octopus (the Polypus) was outstanding, with perfectly tender octopus and beautifully balanced flavors. The scallops were buttery, sweet, and cooked to perfection, while the Ischia -- loaded with mussels, clams, and calamari -- was every seafood lover's dream. The rest of the menu proved just as impressive. The Pappardelle, featuring burrata and a rich Bolognese sauce, was a huge hit, while the Romolo, a comforting combination of chicken, pasta, bacon, and sauce, was another winner that had no leftovers to speak of. If you somehow still have room after dinner, Luca's offers a nice assortment of gelato. But do yourself one favor: don't leave without ordering a cappuccino. Rich, foamy, and expertly made, it's the perfect finale to a memorable meal. If you find yourself in Somerset, just a few turns off Routes 287 or 1, make the stop. You'll be greeted by a wonderful staff, treated to outstanding food, and very likely leave wondering how a restaurant this good has been hiding in a strip mall all along.

The restaurant is small, quaint, and cozy, run by a husband-and-wife team who split their time between Italy and Somerville. Upon entering, each guest is warmly greeted by the host / waitress as family and seated. Each table is served house made bread before the meal. The special of the night, pork rolls stuffed with herbs and cheese was hearty and wonderfully cooked. The plate was delicious, but at around $40 it was a bit pricey for the portion. There was a birthday while our party was dining and the owner led the restaurant in singing a birthday song accompanied by piano and followed it up by playing some classic Italian songs afterwards. The service was wonderful and each guest was personally greeted and thanked upon leaving the restaurant. It's clear that the restaurant is well loved by locals and the owner. If I was celebrating an occasion area I would likely come by.
