My obsession with the Bulgoggi Tacos continues! Popped in for an order, and some Shrimp Tempura roll. As usual, it did not disappoint. It was a nice day, so the place was busy and service was a little slow, but our server did a great job and was very attentive.

Gone here a handful of times and really enjoyed each experience! The place is huge and has outdoor seating when it's warmer out. Inside it has tons of TVs if you're a sports fan. Menu is really varied, pasta, pizza, burgers, sushi...basically everything for everyone. The burger was actually cooked to medium which I appreciate. Service is quick and they have a full service bar of drinks and deserts. Really enjoy coming in, on a Friday or Saturday it's usually packed so be prepared but definitely worth it.

I have to say it was a long day at work. I was craving a good burger. The bacon burgers was delicious. With a side of sweet potato tots. Something different. As busy as they were at tge time I came. I found parking out front and was seating in under 2 minutes. Great music great vibe to chill unwind after work. The service is exceptional and recommend coming her if you ha e a chance. And if you want to shop before or after a full meal there is a mall 2 minutes away.

I've eaten at the Edison location. This is the same thing. A typical sports bar interior, regular to somewhere high end bar food, staff were very nice and friendly. I tried the sushi here because I was told it was actually good, & I must admit it was. I was not disappointed. Grades: Tavern Roll: A- Latitude Roll: A-

Absolutely love the wings here. Cam in and dined in once and got carrot another time while in town for the week. Highly highly recommend the coal fired wings. Also if you dining in I would recommend a reservation. My manager and I came on a Tuesday night and waited about 25 minutes for a table

Nice place to visit when visiting the area. Tommy's has a very extensive menu with many cuisines to choose from (Mexican, sushi, Italian, Mediterranean). They have a good draft beer and cocktail menu and tasty desserts. The staff is very friendly and energetic. I've had a number of dishes here. Not disappointed.

Service was a bit delayed for a not busy time. Overall a good service. We came here for late lunch with our business partners - the food was ok. The Sushi's we ordered were good but not the best. The sandwich we ordered was not cooked and they kindly changed our sandwich

I have mixed feelings about this place. I do love the concept, but I feel like the sushi is not up to par. It seems like it's supermarket Sushi. The pizzas are good. They have a drink options. The place can't get crowded so if you're coming on a busy night, you might wanna come ahead to put your name on the wait. The food comes out in a timely matter however it depends on your server. Sometimes I get a good one and sometimes I don't even when I'm at the bar. The food is a tad on the pricey side in my opinion.

Lots of tvs and large menu make it a good place to watch games theyvhave soecialty pizza (flatbreads) that come in variety of flavors and sushi/poke as well as regular bar type food. I got the pulled pork Mac and cheese. It was a bit cold when it arrived . The pork was overdone and not pulled but chunked. The Mack n cheese was rich but not as creamy and warm as I like it. The cornbread was good. We had a flatbread pizza for appetizer which was good . Service was slow and never came back to refill drinks or water. Overall food is average

Sad dried out and underwhelming Cubano

Not much to rave about at Tommy's Tap & Tavern. We were on our way back from an appointment in North Jersey when traffic started backing up, so we decided to pull off and grab a bite to eat. Tommy's was right off the highway and looked promising enough. The place is large, divided into several sections, and has a nice atmosphere. We were seated in a cozy booth off to the right, but it took a while before anyone came by to take our drink order and go over the menu. After that, he disappeared just as quickly. We ordered a flatbread and decided to split a Cubano. The flatbread was cooked perfectly--crispy, flavorful, no complaints there. The Cubano, though? Disappointing. Barely any filling, dry bread, just not what I have experienced with Cubano elsewhere. Our server was mostly MIA, so there wasn't much chance to get it fixed. Management did make the rounds while we were waiting for the check. We mentioned the Cubano, and while he apologized, he also said we should have told our server so they could have made a new one. We weren't about to throw the waiter under the bus, so we let it go. That said the flatbread was solid, the atmosphere was comfortable, and we enjoyed the break from traffic. Tommy's looks like a good spot for a drink, after work meetup and seemed popular for sushi. It satisfied enough for a quick meal on the road, but not a place we'd go out of our way to visit again.

    Hickory Bacon BBQ Burger

This place was next door to our hotel. For some reason, I could've sworn the lady at the front desk said they were connected. Well, they're not. It was a little nippy to walk outside, but I guess it was good to get some fresh air. I had placed a phone order, and the lady wasn't the nicest. She had demanded I had to pay over the phone, even after I had explained we're at the hotel next door. I provided payment info, and she said it'd be ready in 20. We were there in about 15 minutes and I saw the food already waiting on the side. A gentleman had helped me and told me I needed to pay still. Annoyed, I explained what happened, and he didn't seem to be phased by what I said or even acknowledged what I said. He handed me my food, said, "Thank you," and just left. I ordered: 1. Hickory Bacon BBQ burger (medium): The burger was juicy and flavorful. 2. Tap House Meatballs: This was saucy, cheesy, and tender. It was a little too strong and needed bread or something to balance it out. The food was great. Honestly, I just feel the staff needs to work on their attitude and attentiveness. Just because I'm ordering take-out doesn't mean I shouldn't be treated any differently than people dining in. Atmosphere wise, it was a little busy. Maybe it was an off day, and it will be better next time? ‍

Spicy calabrese flatbread - specials menu
    Alina M.

Tommy's has the vibe of a typical tavern but with much higher quality food than what you would expect at a tavern. My hubby has been here a few times and raves about this place so we finally made it out for lunch together. The menu has a huge number of options anywhere from salads to pizza and even sushi or poke bowls, which you don't typically see at a tavern. The portion sizes are quite significant so we decided to split everything so we can try a few different things. We started out with the Spicy Calabrese Flatbread (san marzano tomato sauce, calabrian chili peppers, salami, provolone and shredded mozzarella) from the Winter Specials menu - soooo good! It's got a good kick without being too spicy. Main courses: Sliced Beet Salad with Chicken & a Hawaii Roll (spicy shrimp, cucumber, topped with spicy tuna, diced avocado, spicy mayo, eel sauce & masago) from the sushi menu. The beet salad was just ok, I liked that they added some candied pecans but the dressing fell a little short for me. The Hawaii Roll really surprised me as it was definitely in line with something you can get at a nice sushi spot! We finished off with the warm toffee bread pudding which was divine! It's one of those desserts that you'll think about for months after having it and crave it again. Yummy! Our waitress was very attentive and such a sweetheart and various staff members stopped by several times to check on how our experience is going.

GRILLED SALMON SALAD grilled blackened salmon, hard boiled eggs, fresh greens, red onion, roasted tomatoes & slivered almonds
    John R.

I have been here a couple of times now. Kind of an interesting location away from the mall. Ample parking. Great indoor and outdoor spaces for dining. No reservations but so far that has not been a problem. If you have a larger group and get here at peak times, I am sure that would not be the case. The menu is quite varied. The GRILLED SALMON SALAD grilled blackened salmon, hard boiled eggs, fresh greens, red onion, roasted tomatoes & slivered almonds has become a favorite for a main meal. The Firecracker 50/50 - fresh calamari and shrimp seasoned in a cajun tempura batter is a great choice for an appetizer. Service has always been great as well. Definitely one of the better chain choices for the area.

    Do you take reservations?

They do not. They have a great bar so you can always grab a drink while you wait. I think this place is worth the wait if you have some time. Nice food and good energy and plenty of TVs with sports.

Can you believe I had never had an espresso martini until that evening?? So my first was a pumpkin espresso martini. Well I may have had 2. And another drink. Ahem. The service was great, not fussy, and I wasn't rushed even as we approached last call. Visit 2: having heard about my great experience there alone, my cousin arranged to meet me there last week. We started with the grilled octopus and the crispy calamari. Both were excellent. The calamari is very light. When I used to frequent the lounge on Fridays and Saturdays, if I hadn't had dinner, the calamari hit the spot. The octopus had a good char on it and was tender throughout. For entrees, my wife had the seared ahi tuna special and I went with the pan seared duck breast. Her tuna was cooked perfectly - rare. The duck was well seared on the outside with just the right amount of pink inside. Portions were the right size -- filling without being excessive, which left just enough room to share the chocolate ganache dessert.
