    Baked ziti.
    Denny T.

Very good Italian food. I got the baked ziti and it was really tasty and flavorful. Sausage had nice flavor, too. My buddies got the lasagna and meatball sandwich and they all liked their meals. They give you some complimentary bread, too. Good portions and fast and friendly service, too.

With our three hour layover, we decided to check out Maggiano's. We were greeted by a lovely host who gave us the option of a tabletop or the bar so we opted for the bar to check out the sports highlights we missed. As soon as we sat down, Mallory greeted us and was a great energetic friendly vibe. We ordered a Bloody Mary and a mimosa. For breakfast we decided to share the Italian American breakfast because it was plenty of food for us both. Our drinks were delicious and refreshing...a bit early too but don't judge, we're on vacation. The breakfast came out and definitely was a good amount of food for us both. Everything was delicious. Glad we stopped in. Mallory checked on us several times so we definitely appreciated that. Great customer service and very friendly, truly a lovely human. If we're ever in DFW again we will come back.

This restaurant is a gem in the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport! It is clean, bright, and nicely decorated. I stopped here for breakfast when connecting to my flight home. My waitress was friendly, attentive, and patient. I explained to her how I liked my eggs and she made sure they came out right. I had the Italian American Breakfast. It was a huge plate! Definitely could feed two, with another set of eggs...lol. Great place for breakfast while traveling.

Had a layover at DFW airport and saw Maggiano's with free tables. Took a chance and was happy we did. It was nice to sit in a cool area on a hot day. Service was excellent. Kathleen assisted us and did a great job. We had a couple of iced teas and split a chicken parmesan sandwich. Good sandwich but too much bread. Fries were good. Friends had a salad and a meatball sandwich and liked it. For an airport restaurant I was pleasantly surprised.

Overpriced airport quality food. Had to eat something but would never dine here if I had better options. Minestrone soup was fine, Cesar salad was mediocre at best ( wilted lettuce) . Fettuccine Alfredo was pretty bad , bland . Service was meh as well . Ambiance - airport chaos . Wouldn't come back.

Dropped in for some dinner during a layover and was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and the quality of the meal! For future travel through Dallas I'll look for the opportunity to return. Kept it simple with an iced tea, side Caesar salad and spaghetti with meatball for the entree. My server was on his game - super personable, super attentive and very good at his job. The meal started with some warm bread & butter - nice! The salad was as expected and the extra large bowl of spaghetti was really good! Thanks for the great meal!

Had to grab calamari to go. The portion is not worth 30$. There was more sauce than calamari. I knew I made a mistake getting airport food and I regret it so much. Dont be like me

So, long day and long walk through the Dallas airport looking for an oasis.. found it at Maggiano's on terminal C. Large seating area both in the restaurant and bar - we were seated immediately. Our server, Khary was amazing. He was very attentive and had the important role of keeping an eye on our glasses. Our drinks and dinner came timely and were delicious. My friend had the salmon and I had the four cheese ravioli with an upgrade of shrimp. Both meals were washed down with a few glasses of merlot. The experience was great and if I could ask for the same server again I would. A great end to an exhausting workday. P.S. sorry for the bad pics, we had started eating before took the pics because it was so good and we were so hungry!

If you are looking for a charming, "no-frills" spot for classic Italian-American comfort food, this is a very dependable option. The absolute highlight of our visit was the staff. The people here couldn't have been nicer! They were welcoming and extremely accommodating, especially when it came to customizing my order. Food: * House Salads: We started with the house salads featuring their homemade tomato vinaigrette. It was unique--it tasted like they might incorporate some of their tomato sauce into the dressing base. It was okay, though perhaps an acquired taste if you prefer a sharper vinaigrette. * Eggplant Parm & Custom Pasta: I ordered the Eggplant Parm and asked to swap the side pasta for angel hair with vodka sauce. They were happy to do it for a small upcharge. The eggplant itself was quite good! My only critique is that the sauce was very chunky (I like a smoother sauce) and the portion of it was a bit overwhelming, but that might just be a personal preference. * Fettuccine Alfredo: My husband went with the classic Alfredo. He described it as a "solid 7/10"--nothing was wrong with it at all, just a standard, reliable version of the dish that satisfied the craving. Final Thoughts Cafe Italia is a sweet little place that is a decent option if you're hungry for the classics and want to be treated like family. We're glad we finally checked it off our list!
