This is my first time at a maggiano's in an airport. I was sat quickly. My server was excellent. She recommended the turkey provolone sandwich. It was delicious! The fries it comes with on the side were an unexpected treat! Crispy and full of flavor. Didn't even need ketchup! The minestrone was also very good. It hit the spot. Love the atmosphere . Very good Italian food. I got the baked ziti and it was really tasty and flavorful. Sausage had nice flavor, too. My buddies got the lasagna and meatball sandwich and they all liked their meals. With our three hour layover, we decided to check out Maggiano's. We were greeted by a lovely host who gave us the option of a tabletop or the bar so we opted for the bar to check out the sports highlights we missed. As soon as we sat down, Mallory greeted us and was a great energetic friendly vibe. We ordered a Bloody Mary and a mimosa. For breakfast we decided to share the Italian American breakfast because it was plenty of food for us both. Our drinks were delicious and refreshing...a bit early too but don't judge, we're on vacation. The breakfast came out and definitely was a good amount of food for us both. Everything was delicious. Glad we stopped in. Mallory checked on us several times so we definitely appreciated that. Great customer service and very friendly, truly a lovely human. This restaurant is a gem in the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport! It is clean, bright, and nicely decorated. I stopped here for breakfast when connecting to my flight home. My waitress was friendly, attentive, and patient. I explained to her how I liked my eggs and she made sure they came out right. I had the Italian American Breakfast. It was a huge plate! Had a layover at DFW airport and saw Maggiano's with free tables. Took a chance and was happy we did. It was nice to sit in a cool area on a hot day. Service was excellent. I've never had such inattentive service. I couldn't complain to our server because he was nowhere to be found. I asked for our check, he cleaned multi;Le tables, took away our empty glasses and replaced them with a single water glass, and he still didn't give us our check. Really great and genuine service, my specific server was exceptionally attentive and really kind. I also noticed the rest of the servers were the same way taking everything with grace and just being very open and welcoming to everyone, even when things went wry. The food was alright but the customer service stood out for sure! Not to mention I was in and out probably within 20 minutes. Visited Maggiano's for dinner after making reservations and it had been a while since i last ate there so expected some changes. Unfortunately i felt that the changes i experienced were less than my previous visits. Our reserved table for 4 was seated promptly when we got there which was nice. However, they sat us upstairs next to a very large (and loud) birthday party that was quit annoying. Once we sat down i expected some bread and dipping oil to come out as it always has in the past but unfortunately that must be something they quit doing as we never received it and i noticed none of the other tables had any either. I ordered a glass of wine to start but since the table next to us was so loud the waiter apparently thought i only wanted a taste as it came out with a swig i tried it and asked again for a glass of that wine. The second time i got a full glass. We ordered fried zucchini and fried calamari for appetizers. The zucchini was as good as it always is, crisp outer coating and perfect dipping aioli. The calamari though was bland and a bit soggy on the coating and the marinara sauce was less than desirable. For my main course i got my usual spaghetti with meatballs and again, something changed for the worse. The dish had a very strong overpowering flavor of what must have been a long aged cheese because it tasted like a strong asiago that just overpowered the rest of the flavors. Im disappointed that it seems the recent changes here have negatively impacted the final products and it seems that some decisions were made to cut cost like the bread being served first when they could have instead cut back on portions since i could only eat half my meal read more

Dropped in for some dinner during a layover and was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and the quality of the meal! For future travel through Dallas I'll look for the opportunity to return. So, long day and long walk through the Dallas airport looking for an oasis.. found it at Maggiano's on terminal C. Large seating area both in the restaurant and bar - we were seated immediately. Our server, Khary was amazing. He was very attentive and had the important role of keeping an eye on our glasses. Our drinks and dinner came timely and were delicious. My friend had the salmon and I had the four cheese ravioli with an upgrade of shrimp. Both meals were washed down with a few glasses of merlot. The experience was great and if I could ask for the same server again I would. A great end to an exhausting workday. I didn't want the food court area for lunch and saw Maggiano's with plenty of open seats in the C Terminal at DFW. Service was very fast, efficient, and friendly. The only downside is the booths have electrical plugs and the bar or open tables have no access to charge your cell phone. The turkey sandwich arrives heated which was a pleasant surprise. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised with the prices but they were expensive. I ordered the appetizer; themargarita pizza. The pizza was okay. I would not order it again. Quite delicious, especially for an airport restaurant! With a flight delay, I came here since it was right across from my gate. It is pretty nice inside, even at the bar. I enjoyed some wine and ordered a pepperoni flatbread. Even though it's hard to make a bad flatbread, I have to say I was actually pleasantly surprised by how good the flatbread really was! I did not have high expectation on this maggiano's, since it is located inside Dallas international airport. I was proven wrong! They offer touchless self checkout for ToGo. You can take the boxed entree dishes off the warmer and checkout yourself, which is perfect if you are in a rush or are worried about slow service to miss your boarding time. The instructions were easy to follow. The food quality was good, despite the fact that it was pre-prepared and sitting in the warmer for a while. The price was reasonable too, eg $13 for mom's lasagna. I was very happy to find it on my trip in Dallas. Since we only went for ToGo option, we are not able to comment on the service for dine-in. read more

I didn't have to walk far in the airport to find this place from where I arrived from. It sits across from gate C16 and is relatively easy to get seated. Jackie was my server this Sunday afternoon and it took her a bit to make her way to my table for a beverage order. At the current time it was not all that busy for table service, bar was full. The disposable paper menu that was given to me looked minimal, I glanced at the menu posted here on Yelp for other options and when I was ready to order I had to ask her about soups and sided (which were not listed). Flatbreads were not available which didn't bother me much because I was looking to order the lasagna regardless. I ordered some bread, I asked if the butter refrigerated or warm and was told refrigerated so went with the oil. When she delivered the bread she just casually walked by and placed it on the corner. When she brought me my soup I asked about the oil and she went to her station and brought me some. It's nothing special, I would have taken butter if I thought the bread was going to be hot (was warm by the time I decided to eat it). The soup was surprisingly good. Hot, wasn't thick but packed a lot of flavor. They do not have crackers so I put some of my bread in rather than dipping it in the oil. The lasagna was equally as good as the soup. The people in the back know how to cook and turned my sour start into a delightful ending. Would have liked some parmigiana cheese on top but saved my breath. Came out hot, had good flavor and was enjoyable to the last bite. During all of this the place started to fill up. There was certainly more people sitting around waiting than there were being serviced. There were tables not being bused ether which makes me think there is a staffing issue here. I certainly do not see anything being sanitized or properly being cleaned before the next people being seated. In covid times this is unacceptable. I wanted to order desert but I pretty much wrote this entire review by the time Jackie came to my table to ask if I wanted dessert or anything else, maybe my check! The manager of the Maggianos DFW airport is doing an awesome job. I had a long lay over, watched him coach his team, clean tables, bringing food out, cleaning floors. He was literally on the floor the entire time I was their 2.5 hrs... No one walks slow here, everyone is double timing it. Sorry Mr. Manager, you were not the star of the show today.
