I got my hair wash, blow-dry, cut, dye ($80 because my hair was considered long hair), hair wash and blow dry for $115. I like how the top part of my hair looks like put the rest of my hair I don't really see the difference. I hope this temporary and I will soon see the difference, I didn't want to say anything just yet because they were closed already and I want to see my hair in the sun. Hopefully I don't need to ask for them to fix it because I don't like people messing up my hair (I'm a stickler with this). I have had only one hairstylist for 15yrs & my hair has always been undamageded and smooth. Update: My hair does not have the results I paid for $125 dollar, I forgot to mention that I was charged a $10 card fee after my $115 total. This place is good for hair cuts BUT NOT FOR HAIR COLOR especially if you have black hair. I feel devastated that my hair is no where near the color I wanted. I wasted $80 for results I was not expecting. I also tip them good for their service both my stylist and his assistant at that time.

I asked for a quote on a wash, cut, and blow out and was told $28! Tbh I was expecting a lot more Bc my hair is down to my hips! They sat me down right away at the hair wash station and went to work. The young lady who washed my hair gave me an amazing scalp massage and thoroughly cleaned from root to ends. Afterwards, I was brought to a chair where they struggled but did their absolute best to brush my super long tangled hair. I really appreciate that they were very patient and made sure to brush carefully to not rip my already damaged hair. Sometimes at other salons, the dresser would get impatient and frustrated and start tearing through my hair. Here, they were very nice and I was handed off to a young man who finished my blow out and asked how I wanted my hair cut. Thankfully, he spoke English fluently and I was able to express how I wanted my hair cut. He expertly trimmed off my ratchet ass split ends and the result was a perfectly even and smoothly curved hair tip line. Afterwards, he offered to curl my hair as it would look great for my thin hair type! I appreciate stylists who really look out for their clients and do their best to suggest the best options depending on your hair type and face shape! The end result was absolutely beautiful and I loved how my hair looked and felt! I totally needed that pick me up and was so thankful that this salon delivered! If I'm ever in Flushing again I'd definitely come back here for all my hair needs!

At the appointment, she went over the the colors she would use. She cleaned my haircut, cutting my hair an inch. Then my hair was bleached, washed, then dyed. Everything was professional and well-communicated. She answered all my questions about the process. I'm pleased with the vibrancy of the colors and how she mixed both blue and purple to make it more dynamic than just blue. Just make sure that you schedule the appointment in advance just in case she is busy and doesn't return your message right away. Overall I would recommend!

If you're parked right out front with the meters, and you're under the dryer or getting your hair washed, they'll make sure to load up the quarters so you don't get a ticket. If it's raining outside and you didn't bring an umbrella, they'll walk you to your car (or even offer you their umbrella) so you don't get wet. I asked the stylist for what I did so I could maintain the length of my hair; now its at a little past shoulder length. Even while I was having my hair cut, I asked her to not cut it so short, or to put in too many layers. The response I got was "don't worry, it won't turn out too short/thin." Was in the salon for four hours, when in the past similar styles have taken around 2.5 hours longest. Cost me around $200 for an unsatisfying experience. Found RIVA and thought ok they'll just stick me with whoever is available oh well. They put me with Lorena and let me just say Lorena is incredible. This woman transformed my life. This is the best blowout I have ever gotten. Everyone everyone everyone everywhere was stopping me complimenting me. Now I don't have regular regular hair. I have long thick middle eastern hair up to my butt. She not once sat there and made me feel like a burden or that my hair was difficult.
