Disappointed. They had no reviews but the owner replied quickly to texts, we discussed the job (clean up after moving into a new home), the two cleaners arrived on time. They were at the house for a few hours and I did not inspect the work before they left (my fault). My wife came home in the afternoon and was disappointed... toilets were not cleaned, dust piling up behind the toilets, bathroom cabinets were not wiped out, not sure if the carpet was vacuumed. My wife spent 3 hours cleaning the house herself... after we spent $200... I texted the owner with my concerns and received no response back... I am not one to leave negative reviews but we were both very disappointed in this service and lack of response. read more

I thought my house had been cleaned well before by other people/companies. I was wrong. MAGIC MAIDS is so wonderful. Two angels showed up with masks and their own supplies, and vacuum yesterday...on time. I am very pleased with the great job they did. They washed some walls where needed. I needed a cleaning company to come by clients newly purchased home and do a good job making her feel comfortable and clean in her new space. I originally requested a quote from a different company and Yelp gave me the option to request multiple quotes at one time. This company got to me within minutes while the original company has still not gotten in touch of me as of now. They offered to come to the property within a couple of hours, got there in a reasonable time, and was there for about 4 hours cleaning the place. Unreliable, unresponsive, and unprofessional. I have used this service about 3-4 times over the past 10 months. One plus: the accept Zelle. Minus: The staff is habitually late and they never call ahead and give a heads up about the estimated time of arrival. For example, I scheduled an appointment for today at 2:30p three days ago. In the past, they would schedule AM appts but for some reason this PM appt was the only one available. Today at 2:27p I sent a text requesting an ETA. 3:02p I received the following reply after several calls: "Hi! Unfortunately maids are having car difficulties." My reply, "what does that mean? Are they coming or not?" I explained that I was expecting company at 6p and asked what was the plan? Were they going to send replacement staff, reschedule or what? I have yet to receive a response. At least reply to say you're not confirming appointment, can't come, etc. No reply is just bad business practice. Who knows if they actually do good work, when they won't even answer messages, calls or call back like competitors would. read more

They were initially very responsive but after a few times of cleaning they stopped being responsive and reliable.

I picked this company based on their high number of stars and reviews. I used Yelp to communicate with them about a quote and what I wanted done. They told me it would be two people coming out to my house for a total of $56/hr. Initially I inquired about a monthly cleaning but as we talked I figured I would need a deep cleaning on the first visit. So I requested a deep cleaning and asked what they usually include in that. And then I sent a picture of a list I had made with what I wanted done like the baseboards and the ceiling fans. They came out, my husband was at the house and had the list I made. I was at work so unfortunately I didn't catch what happened until after they left. My husband said they charged him $61 an hour which is $5 over the quoted amount. When I got home not only was a deep cleaning not done, a lot of the basic stuff was not done well. I have a huge hutch in my living room that I absolutely hate to dust and was very much looking forward to it being done, and they didn't touch it at all. They didn't dust anything in that living room or dining room. I have a lot of pictures to show proof (we'll see how many Yelp let's me post). It's one thing that if the cleaning wasn't done well enough. I also understand if it wasn't communicated to the ladies by their team that I wanted a deep clean even though I know my husband attempted to tell them. He said both ladies did not speak very good English so he's not sure how much of what he said got to cross. For the next three or four days I messaged them on Yelp about my concern. I started out kind, I told them I understand if maybe the deep clean detail was not communicated to the ladies. I don't even care about the total cost (at $56/hr), I just wanted the house done. Even if that means they had to come back out and I paid for a couple more hours. But I have been completely ignored since then. I contacted Magic Maids for a move out clean at my old townhouse. They quoted the lowest rate and with the fastest and friendliest response. I dropped the ball on final confirmation but the owner still came through and got 2 Maids to my house as quickly as possible. The maids worked very diligently and went out of their way to help is get our deposit back. Our house looks so nice that we don't want to leave! They got all of the nooks and crannies, despite us being their last house of the day/a surprise house added on at the last minute.
