I've been trying to call to complain to a manager but they're not picking up the phone. So they more than deserve this bad review. I have no idea why I stayed at this salon for long. I go to this location and the one downtown Naperville. Their turnover is absolutely horrendous. They don't have enough tenured stylists, so booking an appointment with one takes weeks to schedule. Whenever I find a stylist I like they end up quitting. I called today saying i would be 15 minutes late for my sons haircut and asked if they could still take us. I would have totally understood if they said no. They told me to still come in. We got there exactly at the time I said I'd be there and they turned us away. Not okay. I already told them on the phone my husband was in the hospital. Not okay to screw with someone's day ever, but especially when they're in the middle of a family crisis.

Months ago, I had to cancel an appointment on the day our beloved golden retriever passed away. It was an emotional, heartbreaking day, and canceling was not a decision I took lightly. Since then, I attempted to rebook verbally for a future date and called to confirm--only to be told you would no longer accept advance bookings from me. I was told I could only do same-day appointments due to "multiple cancellations." One of those was the day my dog died. The lack of empathy, understanding, or even basic professional courtesy in this situation is staggering. There was no outreach, no consideration for our long history as paying, respectful clients. Instead, I was shut out. This is not how a professional salon should treat anyone--let alone a loyal customer. I'm shocked and hurt by the cold, dismissive response I received, and I'm still waiting to hear from a manager.
