THE BEST NAIL SALON I HAVE EVER GONE TO! Not only do they all speak english, they pamper you so much! Sometimes they'll have two people working on your hands and feet at the same time. Magic Nails was recommended to me from someone who has been going here a long time. It is clean. I see Vy. She is very good. She does my nails (I do the pink & white acrylic nails) and pedicures. I have never had my nails done like this before but they are beautiful and strong!!!!! I will go nowhere else anymore. I asked for purple ombre nails and I was told no because ombre nails could only be done with specifically coffin nails. Leo the guy who was doing my nails was rushing the entire time and was very sloppy. I told him not to file one of my nails because it was so short, that it started to bleed when he filed my nail, after I told him not to do so!! I ended bleeding and he continued to use the nail file that had my blood on the rest of my nails..very unsanitary. Leo also didn't even bother to shape my nails so I walked out with uneven nails. Then, I proceeded to tell him that his LED machine to dry my nails was not working, halfway through painting my nails he noticed my nails were still wet, and then said I should have told him about the light?!! Worst experience ever, you can tell that Leo is one of the lazier people who work there. read more

I moved a while back and needed to find a new nail salon. It wasn't an easy task until I found Magic Nails in Burr Ridge. The manager Kacie is awesome and introduced me their services. I get a no chip every two or more weeks and pedicures. My Nail tech Khan is the best! He's neat precise and it's always perfect! All the equipment is packaged and sterilized and the establishment clean! Kimmy does my pedis and they are perfect as well. So happy to have found them all!!! Staff is always friendly! read more

The place was clean, the instruments looked autoclaved, those are the important bits. The girl who did my nails was nice, but not friendly, not a big deal. I usually pay $5 less at the place I usually go and get 3 coats of color, here only 2, and chipped within a week, honestly the other place never chipped, had it for 5 weeks and other than the huge amount of nail growth, the paint itself looked amazing, was very disappointed that I only got one week from this place. Also they do the quick 1 minute neck massage which just felt awkward and forced, I could have totally passed on that part. So it wasn't awful, but it wasn't great either. read more

Just had the worst experience at a nail salon ever!! Inexperienced pedicurist who made my toe bleed a lot, the manager was rude and did not care. They are notorious for not honoring appointments. would not recommend this place to any one. Bad service and rude people!!! read more

Please find another salon! They don't back their work up, they don't disinfect their instruments most of the time. And they're filling did not work, it was peeling by the next day. Pretty new to the area and have searched for the right nail shop for nearly a year. I had a nail salon for nearly 9 years before! I came into the shop hesitant and worried because I've had bad luck in several other shops. Peter and Kahn were amazing! They took care of me asked questions about my preferences up front and the experience was amazing. Kahn asked if I wanted to wait until my pedicure was over or get my hands down at the same time. The first time I came here I had a top-notch manicure with Jenny. She used a house made lotion which was rich and buttery and mixed with ultra-moisturizing honey. She also gave me a shoulder massage for several minutes while my hands were wrapped in hot towels. I've been back for a manicure three times with different technicians. Each time they all used old dirty nail files and buffers, which is totally gross. They used cheap stinky lotion, there was no shoulder massage and my hot towel wrap lasted about 10 seconds or didn't happen at all. I was so smitten with this place the first time that I couldn't imagine going anywhere else but in the past 5 months service has declined so rapidly that I will never go back. read more

I am a new customer at this location and was very happy with the service. The salon is clean and comfortable and I was greeted warmly when I walked in. I needed to get my nails filled and was assigned to Anna. The first thing she did was to help me figure out what color (too many to choose from) was best for me. She works fast and is very focused on every detail. She did an amazing job with my nails. Anna is also knowledgeable and informative on what I could do to keep my nails looking good in between visits. I have been back twice since then and will only work with Anna--she is the best! read more

I travel 30 miles from Lincoln Park every two weeks to have my nails filled and my pedicure done by Anna at this Magic Nails salon. And I have done this cheerfully for three years. She is truly talented and a total pleasure to spend time with. The salon is conveniently located (lots of parking), very clean, comfortable and everyone there is friendly and welcoming. I didn't like the No Chip manicure I received from this Magic Nails. The boy who provided my service, sporting a large dragon tattoo extending the length of his arm, had a very strange attitude and wanted to cut corners throughout the experience. For example instead of removing the remaining polish from the prior No Chip with foil he wanted to file and buff it off. When he thought he was done and moving on to the next step, I pointed out areas where polish was still remaining, and he became irritated when he saw I was dissatisfied but after I insisted, finally proceeded with the more gentle and effective foil removal method. After he applied my polish, I asked him why it looked unfinished and he said "It's because the color is light", which insulted my intelligence because the color I chose was brown. He obviously thought I would go along with that excuse. I said "No, it's customary procedure for the manicurist paints the end of the nail as a finishing touch." He then proceeded to paint the end of the nail, giving it two coats which made it look heavy on the end of the nail. It's clear that these people do not have as high standards. They take a very long time and the end result is not as good as other Magic Nails' in the area. read more
