Magic Nails is one of the worst nail salons I've ever visited. The experience was incredibly unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment specifically with the owner, Nancy, but when I arrived, she tried to pass me off to another nail technician. I reminded her that my appointment was with her and requested that she do my pedicure as planned. She appeared visibly annoyed but proceeded. Nancy rushed through the entire pedicure, and at one point even cut me with the nail clippers. The entire service lasted only 27 minutes from start to finish -- it felt rushed, careless, and far from relaxing. I will not be returning. read more

I got to my appointment and had no wait time. Awesome right? Well as I was getting nails done my nail tech was very rough burned me a few times with the dremel. I was looking around and was disappointed on how dirty this salon was. Then started to look at the tools she was using on me. I felt they where dirty and she don't clean and sanitize. I wish I stoped my service when I realized how dirty they where at that point but she was about done and getting ready to polish. I won't return. My fill took less than 30 mins. read more

I went today to get my nails done. I feel horrible for not getting the woman's name. I think it was Nancy who did my nails. The environment was nice and quiet. She was very kind. She did my nails perfectly and was very careful. She did my nails quicker than anywhere I've gotten them done before And they turned out amazing. I will be coming back! read more

The best manicure I've ever had. Girl was a perfectionist. NEVER GOING BACK because of the aforementioned older man that works there. The woman took over 45 minutes to get my previous dip powder off. The man is doing my friends toes, turns around and tells me I didn't tell him I need to soak them, and I need to come 30 minutes early because now his other appt. had to wait. (lol no?! Manage your time better) 5 minutes later still soaking, he tells the girl to CUT MY NAILS OFF AND ADD TIPS. My friend sees me panicked and goes to say apologize and tell him he's being rude. He YELLS at her and me saying "he's the boss" and storms off and tells us to leave. My lady finished my friends toes and my nails. And did a phenomenal job on both, but yeah. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I made an appointment for myself and two of my friends and all three of us got acrylic nails. Not only did they refuse to shape them properly, but the man who owns it also yelled at my friend for asking again to please shape it the way she wanted it. They were also very aggressive when filing our natural nails. When we woke up the next morning all of our fingernails were sore and aching because of how hard they pushed on the nail beds and how roughly and deeply they filled our nails. Another thing that made me very mad was that I asked for gel polish on my acrylic nails, and their price board said it was only $45 however, the lady ( very snippily) said that she was going to charge me $55 for gel, so I ended up having to go with regular nail polish, as did the rest of my friends. The customer service was horrible and the man who owned it was an absolute jerk... For your own sanity and comfort of your nails do not go here or give them a penny of your money, it is not worth it! read more

I was told my appointment was at 11:30 today and the man that owns it called me SCREAMING at me that I was late and refused to reschedule me. I asked him "is this how you talk to your customers??? You told me yesterday my appointment was at 11:30!" He WILL be the demise of this business. I even asked the appointment to be with his wife because of how rude he is. He screamed at me some more and then hung up on me. He yelled "COME IN AND TALK TO MY FACE!!!!!" His tone was so unprofessional, rude and threatening. I will never go back there for my business which is a shame because his wife is great at nails. SO unprofessional! Don't give them your hard earned money!!!!! He clearly has severe anger issues and a lot of other reviews said the same thing. I feel so sorry for his wife. This town is TOO SMALL to be treating customers this way!!! read more

Went in for a pedicure and needed one tip on my toe. The owner started yelling at me and said I need to let them know when I made the appt I needed a tip. He's the only tech who can do tips. Said I had to come back another time. I got up and said screw it and he told me to "get the fuck out of my store." Will be reporting him. Don't go here unless you want subpar service and want to be cussed out. read more

I love Magic nails! Vanny always gives me a perfect manicure. It's a nice family run business and I've never had a negative experience.

I called Friday morning to see if they were accepting walk-ins. They said they were booked all the way until Tuesday. I asked if I could make an appointment for that day. I couldn't really understand the person on the phone, they spoke quietly and with a strong Asian accent. I told them I needed a Fill. I made the appt for Tuesday afternoon. When I arrived the guy asked what I wanted done. I told him acrylics. He went for the cotton and acetone. I told him that I had gel nail color on. He started to grind the color off. He then asked what color I wanted. I asked about the price of gel nail color. This is when he started getting mad. He almost started yelling about what acrylics, gel and shellac was... And clearly irritated, told me about the price. I told him I would just use the polish, at that point I was already done... I DO NOT APPRECIATE GOING TO A BUSINESS AND BEING YELLED AT! He yelled at me to go wash my hands and pick a color. Four ladies walked in at this point and he and the lady asked what they wanted done. The two moms wanted pedicures and the young girls wanted manicures but made the mistake of calling the Shellac, Gel color... This man started yelling at them too. I got my color and walked back to the man who snapped at me again to go back to his wife to get my nails painted... WHATEVER... She rushed, did a decent job but it was rushed. One of the girls declined service at all. The other got her Shellac and the two moms got pedicures. I won't be going back there again. read more

Do not give magic nails your business! Since I was getting married, I made an appointment for my bridesmaid and myself to get a manicure and pedicure the Saturday before the wedding. I had these 10am appointments for 6 weeks. On Saturday just after 9am, I received a yelling phone call from a man (the owner's husband?) saying that he changed my appointment to 9am and they were too busy to see me at 10am. I told him that I was getting married in two days and have had these appointments for almost 2 months. He again said that they were too busy to see me at 10am and hung up on me. I was completely shocked at this unprofessional behavior. He yelled at me for at least 3 minutes as if i had done something wrong. Thank god another nail salon was able to squeeze us in and saved the day. Magic nails should not be in business at all! read more

I tried making conversation with the guy and he was rude he raised his voice at me and told me not to move my hand when I was readjusting myself in the uncomfortable seat. loved the pedicure. the woman was very gentle and thorough with the job. a relaxing atmosphere. on the other hand with the acrylic, the man was slightly harsh. but in the end my results were good. not the cleanest cut but from far away a beautiful look. not a lot of talking but you were always occupied. I wouldn't suggest for a wedding or special day but definitely for just a quick nail re-do, it's perfect. read more

Was told there was no way to remove a shellac manicure without grinding it off. When I asked them to just use a file the lady was ok with that. However the man came back to finish the removal process and got out the electric file. I asked him to continue using the manual file and he refused to service me because "would take hours." Since the lady already had started the removal process part of my polish was peeled back. He still refused to finish the service and walked away to eat lunch. I sat at the station for 5 mins and was able to remove the nail polish myself. While I didn't get any additional service I at least got my nail polish removed even though I had to do it myself so that's the only way I can justify one star. My first mistake was going in the day before prom. The staff was very busy/stressed. The woman doing my pedicure was glued the tv and kept chafing my legs with the body scrub, perhaps she would have noticed if she weren't too busy watching cupcake wars. They clipped too much skin off of my toes and I don't believe their tools were clean as two of my toes were angry and red for several days afterward. The paint job was NOT impressive. I asked for straight white stripes over black polish, which were horribly crooked. Rather than fix it right off, they made me move so the next person could sit in my chair (again, I didn't see them clean the chair/water area) and after my polish started drying, they painted over the top of everything to attempt to straighten it. I sat much longer than necessary waiting for them to check me out and finally gave up and caught their attention. They charged me more than the listed price even though it turned out horrible.
