I've always had a great experience here, indent care about the wait time-as you are aware you will have to wait , just like any other doctors office. I've been coming here since 2015 and when I had 2 coverage of insurance they helped to make sure that I didn't have to pay a lot out of pocket :) Fast forward and now it's an emergency lol This is one of the times I can say than you COVID-19 for having me to wear a mask.. I called and spoke with Paloma , she's very helpful , oral Surgeon is there on Thursday,so going i today at3pm is a no go,I was advised to call tomorrow for any cancellations for Friday. I've read a few BAD Reviews , and what I can say at times when the Dentist Associates use the AIR/WATER Syringe (I have choked ) when they aren't really paying attention to me, but to the Dentist NOT Good..so I would literally move her ARM or raise my hand. At any Yoo-hoo, My experience has always been Caring, Helpful and I've always left Happy. Maybe in a little pain but that is Expected. read more

Been coming here for over 15 years for my son. The other day I called to make an appt for him. I guess she couldn't verify me when I provided her my name, son's name and my phone # and told her my relation as a mother. She responded to me saying, "You're not the mother because I don't see your name here." I told her to go back & go through the dental records they have because I'm the one that fill out the form." She keeps insisting she can't find me. Then later found me. Be professional & do a little research before telling me that I'm not the mother. Very rude & unprofessional. read more

No one raves about going to the dentist. Dr. Ramir has been my dentist for years. He moved and opened his own office and I followed him. He has cared for me, my children (now adults) and two of my grand children. I moved to Arizona but will travel 6 hours to go to his office. I am literally afraid to go anywhere else. They are kind, thorough and do excellent work. I cannot say anything negative about this office. They care about their patients. The office is clean and sanitary. My fav is Dr. Ramir and Dr. Henry!!!!!! I have been going to them since the 1990's and have had extensive dental work done over the years and my husband and I always get Excellent care and service which starts soon as you walk into the door when greeted by the front desk staff who are always smiling, friendly and treat you like they really appreciate your business!! My fav hygienist is Jovi however everyone I have had gives top notch service!!! Today my deep cleaning was done by Dr. Henry and he's a master of administering the injections just like Dr. Ramir!!! I HATE needles and don't feel ANYTHING when they give me injections!!! Both Dr's takes the time to explain what you need and answer any questions you may have and are friendly, personable and very qualified!!! I wish I had known them in my teens would have saved myself a lot of dental issues over the years!!! Wait time is very reasonable usually 15 minutes, it's clean and comfy!! I do like this place because it's very close to my house. That's the main reason I go there. I like the service, nothing amazing but the service is good. People are friendly. The only thing I don't like is having to wait well over 30 min for my appointments. One time I waited over an hour and I had to miss my appointment because I had a job interview to get to. I haven't gone back after that only because I figured it would be the same thing. Why make an appointment if I wont be attended till after 30 min or more? That's my only complaint. But other than that, the place is good. read more

This office is always professional.. They usually work hard to do good work in a timely matter. That's probably what I appreciate the most. In & Out so I don't worry about more noises or tugging..but with incredible meticulous service. My insurance at work used to be in network with this company so I had the "Cadillac" dental plan .. but new job, new insurance, new out of network plan, is basically the main reason why I stopped coming here. They work with you on payments since they have their own financing department, but it'd be easier for me to find a dentist who I'm covered under. I loved Dr. Martinez! But honestly, everyone here is great & nice..even the oral surgeon who comes twice a month is awesome. I needed some wisdom teeth removal and he was nice, charming, and fast! Someone like me who's actually afraid of the dentist appreciates this place since they're always calming. Parking's tight, so if it's during rush hour be prepared to park across the street instead of the lot to the side of the building. read more

My whole family has been going to Magic Smile for years. One of my sons had two incisors growing sideways. He would try not to smile because of it. The doctors were able to do a surgery that allowed the tooth to grow normally into place. They placed a screw twist device in his gums and would gradually increase the tension on the tooth at each visit. It worked miraculously. My son has a beautiful smile now that he easily shows off. These people are wonderful, very kind and considerate. They continuously ask you if you are okay while they work on you. I am not into posting of ratings but this time i have to do it to guide other people. If you have any other options, then don't go to this dental office. I walked in without any pain but the purpose of my visit is to replace an old crown but i walked out of that office in so much pain after paying almost 3 grand. And what's worst is the pain came from what they did and they refused to fix it and said they can't do anything. So there goes my $$$ and i have to another dentist to have it fixed. I love this place ! All the DA's are very friendly and helpful when you have any questions. I'm not soo picky with my dentist but I prefer Dr. Paul or Dr. Chris. They have a gentle hand that when I get anesthesia they don't hurt me. Like any other dentist you do have to sit and wait but not for a looong time. And they are also open late making it easier for me to go in the afternoon. Insurance wise they explain what will be covered and give you the best payment options in order to get your treatment done. P.S If you're like me and forget wgen you have appointments or need to get a check up the front desk workers call to remind you. read more

Dont bother with this place. Its been my experience with a early arrival to a scheduled appointment I always wait 30-40 minutes because the "dentist is behind schedule". I've been going to this office for six years mainly because of convinience. I always felt that they are simply trying to squeeze every nickel out of my insurance recommending unnecessary procedures and x-rays. They call me and my wife regularly to try to get us to come in and schedule a "follow up appointment" when there is nothing to follow up on. Recently, the crown they set me up with in 2013 fell off for the third time in under 2 years! The crown that I had previously had through a different dentist put in a crown that lasted 15 years without it falling off before it broke off. He had no explanation for his shotty work and had his dental assistant ut it back in. He recommended a new crown. I declined his recommendations and I demanded the actual dentist do the work and not his dental assistant. which he did but not before he recommended additional x-rays and a ANOTHER deep cleaning. Dont bother with this place they just want to scam your insurance. read more

Don't judge the office by it's cover. LMAO from the outside you may not have a good feel however upon entry you discover a clean upscale dentist office with the nicest front desk receptionists ever. They strive @ making sure you will never wait no longer then 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time. They are not big sticklers for collecting the patients co-insurance. The dentists as well as the dental assistants are extremely well established within their careers as it reflects within their work. My best advise is to go and get your dental plan checked and i'm totally sure you will not leave unhappy. Cash patients are also welcome with great Cash Patient benefits & contracts. read more

I don't believe they provide an accurate assessment. After having been to the dentist twice a year for 25 years and having at least one cavity at each visit, I was shocked at my first visit to Magic Smile upon moving here that I didn't have any cavities, especially after having gone 2 years of no cleaning (the result of working in the consultancy world during that time). I asked to have my x-rays looked at again, but they confirmed everything was fine. Not having believed them, I went to another dentist 6 months later who said I had 3 cavities that had been there for quite some time. The new dentist asked to see my x-rays from the old place and they are unwilling to send them unless I pay $25. However, I paid for them originally so it doesn't make any sense. My insurance will only cover these x-rays every 5 years, so unless I pay for these x-rays again, it will be 4 years before it can occur again. This is a very shady place, practicing poor customer relations and possibly illegal activity with regards to releasing health information to individuals. read more

The more I think about my experience at this place the more I get upset. This place is set up like a factory of scripted employees. This is my first time going to this place, but I've gone to different private dentist groups all my life 3/4 times a year so I'm not new to going to the dentist. First of all I didnt even sign the consent form, (that's considered battery btw) because they are trying to pump people in and out as fast as possible ($$$&$&) . They tell everyone they need a painful (possibly unessessary) deep cleaning" . U might have 2/3 different "dentist" at a time in your space in your mouth or asking about your mouth throughout your appt. in addition to the dental assistants I can remember about 3! . This place seems like a scam! I have the worst headache from their deep cleaning. Smh, I won't b returning! Bad move :( read more

Everything in the other reviews are true, especially the part about them not collecting the co-insurance. Don't think for a moment they are losing a dime...they make sure they get theirs when they bill. They overbill the charges which more than makes up for what the patient doesn't pay. Last year I had a plan allowing $1500.00 of work. I had 2 root canals, 1 crown, a bridge, my teeth were cleaned and 2 silver fillings replaced with white. My dentist too, does not collect the coinsurance. This year I changed jobs and had to wait 6 mths. for my benefits. During that time I had difficulties with a tooth on each side. My dentist was very generous and saw me w/o charging me but couldn't find the problem. Both my daughter and friend get treated at Magic Smile so I decided to give them a try when I received my benefits. My limit,$2000.00. Magic Smile did a root canal and a crown for one side. When I had the crown put on I asked them about the issue on my right. I was informed that the tooth was cracked at the root and had to be removed. I made an appt. with the oral surgeon to have it done and when I went, I was told they would happily do it but I would have to pay cash as my benefits were exhausted. It was during the research to find out what happened that I found out about Magic Smiles billing practices. It turns out they received $1000.00 for the root canal alone. That is 2 1/2 times the normal rate for that service Since I can't afford the oral surgeon, I could not get my tooth removed. I have to wait until January when my new benefits are applied. So, if you don't mind them stealing your benefits or taking the chance of being put in the same situation then I say...go for it. Get treated at Magic Smile...don't say you weren't forwarned. read more

I give four stars instead of five only because the wait time can be long but the customer service definitely makes it worth the wait. The front office staff is wonderful including the dentists and DA but my favorite experience thus far after being a patient here for a while was with Erika. She was the most helpful person I have EVER encountered. She went out of her way to help me with extra stuff with insurance and medical and helping me find an oral surgeon that accepted my medical. If it weren't for her I wouldn't have known what to do about my situation but she walked me through the steps and even called to set up my appointment where I was referred to. Thank you so much Erika you definitely deserve employee of the month or even a raise. Great customer service! read more

This rating is for that one receptionist named Hilda. I called to ask a couple questions regarding my dental treatment in which she did not seem to show any concern at all. She did not look like she wanted to help me. I asked to speak to the other receptionist Erika because she shows a lot more concern and really makes the effort to help out the patients, unlike Hilda. Too bad Erika wasn't there at the moment because I know she could've provided a lot better service. Overall Hilda receives 2 stars for hardly showing any concern and bad service. The service here has to be one of the worst I have ever experienced. I had gone here 3 or 4 times (with little issue) for my regular checkup, ex ray and cleaning. However the last time I went they made me wait for over an 90 min not even once checking on me. When I finally asked (after the 1st 30min of waiting) what was taking so long they told me the doctor was behind schedule and would be with me as soon as possible. 30 min later I'm still waiting, mind you 6 people have come in and left while I was waiting. I finally just walked out and never came back. Then when I called them for a copy of my X-rays to give to me new dentist I discovered that they had only taken 7 out of the 18 or so required films of me. So I had to pay to have my X-rays done again, since insurance only pays for X-rays once a year. If you do not have insurance and have time to wait then I guess you won't mind this place because they offer really cheap cash payments, but for me it's not worth it, not when my insurance allows me to go somewhere more professional and trust worthy. I will never go back. They actually have to nerve to still call me asking me if I want to set up an appointment, seriously! read more
