I've had multiple issues with Vadadent over the years from bait and switches with the original doctor I scheduled a bone graft with, and then being surprised to sit down and see a different doctor do they work. They assured me this was standard as my original/requested doctor had something more important but I was in "good hands." The replacement doctor burned my cheek. This was a slap in the face after they tried to charge me twice for cleanings I pre-paid for. The front desk staff is the rudest staff I've ever encountered. I asked to speak to a manager regarding all the above issues and the latest when they said I need to come in for polish but at the time of the appointment switched and said it was an expensive periodontal cleaning instead of the polish. Someone claiming to be the manager named Karmi came in with the rudest attitude saying I'm wasting their time and I'm welcome to leave. The hostility was completely unnecessary, I told her such, and she just laughed in my face. She then proceeded to yell at me and said to get out of her office. Come to find out she wasn't even the manager. Do not go to Vadadent if you want to be treated professionally. read more

This miserable dentist went on a rampage with my teeth, causing damage which feels terrible and is expensive to repair. She handled this in a most unprofessional way. After trusting her for several years, I also came to find out that things were being ignored which could have caused more damage, causing deeper and more expensive repairs. I looked past her moody temperament, imagining that I was at least getting decent dental work. My experience and opinion is that Tabibi is a dangerous dentist who was first and foremost concerned about income rather than what was in the best interest of my dental health. Staff is the most professional I've seen anywhere in years. Always was hesitant to come to the dentist, but always get treated like diamonds here. Patient, compassionate, positive, everyone, always, from the front desk to all the medical professionals. Amazing teamwork. Impeccably organized. And they always do great work. I no longer dread the dentist. In fact, I look forward to it, because I know I'll be well taken care of. By the way, I truly don't know what some of these negative reviews were talking about. I read a lot of different reviews prior to choosing to come here, and some of the negative ones were honestly dissuading me, but I thought since it was recommended by a relative who is a dental professional (their office doesn't accept my insurance), I'd see for myself. Very glad I did. I'm not saying those experiences had by others were not credible, I give the benefit of the doubt that they might have felt that way about their experience. It may have been a misunderstanding or an off day, because they are mostly first time experiences. But at the same time I have a critical eye, and my internal alarm bells go off at the first hint of a possible red flag. Everytime I've gone those feelings are not present whatsoever. It's so noticeable I recognize my guard was up because the response is so shocking in being the perfect thing to say to ease my concerns, always with a great deal of understanding. Conveniently located, too, with their own cozy parking lot. Very professional looking building inside and out. They have the latest modern equipment, it's immaculately clean and neat. If I can give 0 stars I would. Today I went in because of pain I was having. Dr. Tabibi was doing my root canal and obviously because of the pain I was tearing up and showed by my face expressions that I was in pain. She proceeded to tell me i couldn't cry that she didn't understand If I had pain to raise my hand. She continues and I felt pain and raised my hand and she got very agitated and said just come back to finish and I told her no it was ok to continue I just wanted to get it done I'll handle the pain and she told me she wasn't my "worker" and I couldn't tell her what to do. I have PTSD with the dentist and she made it worse I got a really bad panic attack right there in the office. They scheduled me to finish the procedure on Wednesday and I receive a call right now saying Dr. Tabibi doesn't want me back there & I'm technically banned. They tried putting all the blame on me because they tried to convince me it wasn't like that and maybe I took it wrong I felt helpless and explained how my husband heard everything and he did say "she's acting like a b*tch" which was because he saw how they tried making me feel like I was taking everything wrong. I am left with a procedure that isn't even done. This is very upsetting. They still call me and say she doesn't want me back there because of what my husband said. I think anyone would be very upset going through what I did. read more

Predatory dental practice that lead one to expect a scheduled procedure and more prone to gratuitous procedures that cost the patient THOUSANDS! Just short of my 6 month check up, I called my trusted DDS for a cleaning and exam only to learn that he had retired. I decided to use a neighborhood advertisement (my first MISTAKE) for a Digital X-Ray, Cleaning and Exams. After the "Doctor" DDS exam he and the "Office Manager" Maria G. started to detail a laundry list of procedures and complex cleanings that at the highest or uppermost point exceeded $3,000.00! I will remind all that are reading this scathing review and scratching their heads that I just went for a check up 6 months ago with our family DDS who just recently retired and our family had trusted for nearly 30 years. Needless to say they DID NOT perform the cleaning I had specifically asked for when making the appointment and I had paid for prior to receiving ANY treatment. It is the old bait-and-switch trick to take advantage of the patient, so that they can charge exorbitant prices for more gratuitous procedures. If you are looking for your wallet or purse to be cleaned, but NOT your teeth you have chosen a predatory dental office that can make that happen. read more

I'm typically a very apprehensive patient but since I've been seeing Dr. B, I'm able to get the proper care that I need without my anxiety getting in the way. I expressed to him how nervous I was the first time I ever went to him and since then, its been a drastic change in my experience for the better. Amazing Team, I needed a full mouth implant and had gone to multiple places, seeing a few doctors. I was never happy with any of them. Based on a friend's recommendation, I went to see Dr. Fariba in Los Angeles. She made me feel very comfortable and explained the full procedure. I also noticed that everybody in the office was very polite and helpful. I started the procedure about seven months ago. Now that I am done, I am very happy with everybody in the office. They never made me wait more than 10 minutes, which is amazing. My orthodontist surgeon's name was Dr. Ali, and he was amazing. I will recommend Dr. Fariba and Dr. Ali to everybody. This is the first time in my life that I love going to the dentist. All the assistants and office staff are very caring and have great smiles. . read more

I showed up early for my appointment. The initial x-rays and cleaning were average. After, my cleaning they tell me the dentist left. Just up and left!! No reason. The dentist "stepped out". I could WAIT "about 45 minutes or reschedule." I took the day off from work and drove 30 minutes. I parked down 2 blocks because their parking lot is too small and the dentist leaves. No respect for their client's time. I have been here before, but it seems like they keep changing the dentists that practice there. Apparently, there is only 1 now that just leaves whenever. read more

The front staff is very nice and always very accommodating. This is my regular dentist whenever I need a tune up on my teeth. I have been very busy with work and I needed to use up my insurance. They were able to fit me in on their busy schedule for teeth cleaning. The guy did a great job. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name. Hopefully they can see on my chart who assisted me. I had a cavity that needed prep with the Indo they called him Dr. Julian G. He has a great personality. I was a week into a flu and he is made me comfortable with not worrying about coughing even if I was contagious anymore. He definitely made sure to assure me that it was okay to cough if I needed to. He is very good base on a doctor I just had. Her name is Dr. Emrani. It's not so say anything rude however their touches were noticeable. She felt a bit rough in comparison. Dr. Julian is a specialist in a certain area so I'm not sure if I'm doing a fair comparison with Dr. Emrani. Both doctors were pleasantly nice. However, one did feel more gentle in my mouth vs the other. Again, I don't know if I required something else this time around. She was very friendly as well. The assistant Mary who was helping both doctors was my favorite. She was very sweet, patient and understood my concern for the new years. She went an extra mile to make sure I can eat until my heart is content with my temporary crown. It is a holiday season so I'm just greatful to all the staff for scheduling me and being able to see me in this busy time. Thank you all, very much for your hard work. read more

I had the worst experience at this clinic. I originally started going to this clinic to see Dr. Safaei who I heard a lot of good things about his work. First time I saw him, he was professional, caring, and did a great job! I made an appointment for filling my broken front tooth for 3 months later (only 2 weeks to my wedding). When I came back for my appointment and as soon as I sat down on the chair someone told me Dr. Safaei is not working here anymore. They told me it's your choice to stay but imagine what would I do 2 weeks before my wedding with a broken tooth? How would I make an appointment with another doctor now? They didn't call or inform me the doctor is not working there anymore and if im ok or comfortable to work with another doctor. They assured me Dr. Json is a great doctor and he will do a good job. Well, I had no choice and he helped filling my broken tooth. couple days later I got a letter from my insurance and I saw they charged me extra $62. First time I called them about extra charge they told me you signed the paper and we charge you the same amount you signed for. (Well I didn't know at the time that you are changing me extra!!). They ended up refunding that but only few days later, my tooth and the filling that Dr. Json did broke. Now one week before my wedding. I went to the clinic and asked to get it fixed. First they tried so hard to trick me to an xray when I had xray 2 months before. They insisted on it few times but I said no im not going through another xray in less than 3 months. I don't even care what else is wrong. Just fix what you did! Dr. Tabibi who is apparently in charge fixed this for me. But I wish she would tell me that she doesn't know how to do her job at all. My tooth feels like sand! It's not polished or even not straightened. The surface (!!) gets food stuck in it because she didn't smooth it out. Bottom of my front tooth is so bulky! Not all straight. Top is lower and bottom is higher on the surface of the tooth. This is the most simple job to do on a tooth. And I don't know what they can do if they cannot do this simple work done.( I ended up going to another doctor the day after to fix her work.) When i was leaving their office i confirmed with them there is no charge for today's work, but later I got a letter from my insurance that they charged my insurance for $120 for this fix. The description is "limited evaluation". What does that even mean? First trying to force me to xray to get money from this visit because they knew they are not supposed to charge me for fixing their own mistake, then charging my insurance behind my back for no reason... all they do here is to trick customers and insurances to get more money from them by doing a horrible job! I would totally stay away from this place. There was only one doctor who knew how to do their job and he left. Do yourself a favor and try somewhere else. read more

Best Dental settings in town! Dr. Tabibi and Dr. Andre suggested me the best treatment solutions and relieved my terrible toothache. One day, I woke up with terrible toothache and called the office at 8 am. They were so accommodating and fit me in their busy schedule. On the same day, Dr. Andre performed root canal treatment and relieved my pain right away. 2 weeks later, I got a beautiful crown on that tooth. It looks like my natural tooth or even better! I feel like I have to share my poor experience on here to help others avoid hours of wasted time. My first visit was two months back - I made an appointment. I'm punctual and checked in right on time. The admin hadn't emailed me several forms that I could have completed prior, but I completed quickly anyway. I waited to be called back... but after an hour of still sitting in the waiting room I left. They had called back and apologized stating a lot of their staff was out on lunch - I provided the feedback they shouldn't schedule patients during lunch if that's the case and decided to give the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled. I came back another day, again with an appointment and waited about 15 minutes before being called back. I did my x-rays, exam, and cleaning. The doctor abs hygienist themselves I felt were extremely knowledgeable - good enough to come back for a follow up. I also shared with them the previous experience so they knew. Today I showed up on time for my follow up - the receptionist was on the phone so I sat. After she hung up, I checked in and she said I'd be called back after a few minutes. 25 minutes later, and nothing - so I just left. I think it's only fair to share - make your appointments after work, when you're not banking on only taking an hour during your lunch break or go somewhere else where they can honor your appointment time. read more

I started coming here a few years ago. I needed a dental implant and this dental office looked nice. I got it done and the work was ok. It definitely doesn't look like a molar but it's better than what I had. So I kept coming here and EVERY single time they said I needed a bunch of work done. This just didn't make sense. I take really good care of my teeth. I stopped coming here for 2 main reasons. 1 you always wait. There's been times where I'm there for hours and just getting a cleaning and 2 the owner is terrible. She has no manners or etiquette. She's so freaking rude. She insulted me and treated me like I was beneath her. That's my biggest reason. So now I go to an honest dentist that isn't trying to scam my insurance for money and is nice. The work there is ok. They are over priced and dishonest. Find another dentist. read more

I'm way over due for a review to this office. But my experience was great when I first came here. The staff are so nice and informative, my hygienist Yajhaira is the best! She is very gentle and detailed with the cleanings, i highly recommend her. A couple days after my cleaning I saw Dr. Tabibi for a filling and she too was very gentle she's such a nice Dentist and answers all your questions without hesitation. The office itself is very nice to walk into, they accept most insurances including medi-cal. I always hear that people who have medi-cal are treated poorly due to it being the type of insurance that it is. But I wasn't treated any different, this office made me feel comfortable and didn't have me waiting too long. read more

I originally went in for a filling and deep cleaning. The dentist that did my filling is who I believe to be the owner , Dr. Fariba Tabibi , asked me if I wanted to fix a small chip on one of my front tooth. Since I'm already pressed for money I asked her if it will cost extra, and she replies no and that she just wants to fix the chip because it's bothering her. So I'm thinking wow that's really nice of her to just fix it of her own accord. She finished the filling and I proceeded to my deep cleaning and then went home. 3 days after , I wake up to notice a huge chip in my front tooth as I was about to brush my teeth. Having no clue how it happened because it was fine the night before and I never hit my mouth or ate anything hard, I assumed the material they used to fix the chip either got loose after they did the deep cleaning on the same tooth or it wasn't applied on correctly, either way I need it fix because it looks bad. So I call in to ask if they can look at it and fix it and they take me in the same day. Now here is where things start getting nasty and changing my opinion of this place. After I explained that my tooth that Dr. Tabibi worked on a few days ago is now chipped they seat me in the chair to wait for the dentist that's going to fix it. The first dentist that comes in is a male dentist , I wasn't able to get his name but he seemed like one of the main ones, he didn't even bother to ask me any questions he just saw my chipped tooth and says " you need to fix it with a crown ". I'm like wait hold on , I can't get that done, I just need to get the chipped fixed like how she did it last time just carefully this time so it holds. Then he gives me an annoyed look ( I'm assuming because I didn't want to pay for getting a crown done), and then walks out without discussing anything else with me . Dr. Tabibi then comes in and asks me what happens and i tell her that i literally woke up in the morning and the tooth she worked on was chipped even more. She then rudely says " well you're going to have to wait I'm really busy " then storms out of the room. Then a lady that wasn't wearing any scrubs walks in , not sure who she was but she tells me I'd have to pay $180 to fix the chip. I'm surprised because I already explained what happened and I asked her why do I have to pay for this chip in my tooth when it cracked on it's on after you guys "fixed it."She explained she didn't see me getting a tooth fixed on my records , and I explained to her again it wouldn't be on there because Dr. Tabibi fixed it on her own accord. At this point I'm already frustrated because they aren't even treating me as a patient anymore more like I'm some inconvenience, when I just want them to fix the work they did. Once Dr. Tabibi comes in , she says out loudly " that's the last time I ever do anything nice for someone ." loud enough that she knew I'd hear it. She never once consulted to me about what could have happened or what i should do to prevent it from happening again. She just went straight to work on my tooth and whenever she told me to open my mouth wider she said it in a very rude and condescending way. Once she finished she didn't even pass me a mirror to show me the tooth to see if I was satisfied with it, she just rudely walked out of the room and said nothing. I'm not sure if they talked to her and she got in trouble , and I feel bad if that's the case since she was originally nice , but regardless she should have handled the incident professionally instead of making it personal. I already knew I wasn't coming back to this place because this was quite possibly the worst treatment I ever received. What solidified my choice even more is that Dr. Tabibi botched my tooth! She made it noticeably larger than the other front tooth and it was not even remotely even by any means. It literally looked and feels like she just rushed to get it done. I was so mad at this place that I decided to just get it fixed at another dentist office instead of making a complaint with them. I wanted nothing to do with this office anymore. I've posted pictures below on how my front teeth originally looked , then how the chipped looked after Dr. Tabibi it " fixed it" , then the third picture is the tooth after Dr. Tabibi rushes to get it done and it looks bad now. To be completely fair all of my bad experiences were from the owner and dentists. All of the nurses and assistants were incredibly nice and welcoming and the office is cleaned and well maintained. But I've even had some of the assistants on separate occasions telling me that they're treated poorly and receive bad attitudes from the doctors as well. Also make sure you ask for how much things will cost before they do any work because they like to work on your mouth first and then charge you for the work without discussing the prices beforehand. read more
