We missed the first night in town, came the second day and then back again the third. Amazing ribs just falling off the bone delicious. Love the potato salad and coleslaw. Not to cute, just basic good tasty food served with love. It's a drive thru place but there is outdoor seating if you choose. They have big smokers going in the back. This is a small drive up location with 2 tables in front or you can use the drive thru window. There is a small parking area. We ordered at the window and got our food quickly. The woman who took our order was friendly. My husband really enjoyed the Thursday special which was a turkey leg. It was a huge portion. He said the coleslaw was just okay. I got the chopped brisket (sliced was sold out) and really liked their baked beans. I liked their spicy bbq sauce. I got the 2 meat combo and my 2nd meat was ribs but I got just 1 rib but the portion on the chopped brisket was large. read more

First visit there I ordered the ribs and some stuffed jalapeños. The jalapeños were very good. The ribs were very fatty and seemed soggy as if they were steamed. I never throw away bbq until this. Half the ribs were throw away. Really wanted to like this place. Very disappointing. read more

I was told that this was the best BBQ in Sherman, and they did not disappoint! I tried the brisket, the loaded baked potato, loaded fries, beans, grape Kool-aid, and best of all the jalapeño poppers. These jalapeño poppers are unlike any others I've had! It's a jalapeño, stuffed with brisket, then wrapped in bacon before being smoked. I didn't see these on the menu, so ask if they're available. DEFINITELY try these if you get a chance, you won't be disappointed! The brisket is very good on its own, and I'm not one to typically put BBQ sauce on my brisket, but both regular and spicy versions of the BBQ sauce they make are really good! You could make a meal out of the loaded baked potato or the loaded fries. When they say loaded, there is literally no more room for them to put any more into the box! The beans are really good and flavorful. There is sausage and bits of BBQ mixed in that give the beans a great tangy and smoky flavor. The grape Kool-aid brought me back to when I was a kid, being just the right amount of sweet, and a great compliment to have with the meal! I'm glad I was able to try this spot out and the recommendation was spot-on! If you get a chance, go out back and check out the HUGE smoker, probably the biggest I've ever seen! read more

I had passed this place countless times, but today was the day for a good BBQ sandwich. I picked the chopped sandwich, which is supposed to be a mixture of meats and I asked for the spicy sauce. We'll the meat tasted like it was a few days old, it was so dry, I started coughing etc. I was wondering when I might hit that BBQ sauce so it might help me eat this nasty sandwich, well I finally found the sauce, it was in the very middle of the bun and about the circumference of a fifty cent piece. I heard story after story that this is the best barbecue meats in Texas.... So I drove there and bought $30 worth of meat and one sandwich.... I was extremely disappointed when it was shredded and not sliced. They never asked and I forgot to order sliced. I ordered 1/2 pound of chicken and brisket and I'm pretty sure the brisket was pork.
